Above Pirate King - Chapter 132
World Economic Newspaper headline:
“Rise of the Kingdom – St. Martin”
West Blue Newspaper headline:
“Conquering Two Kingdoms in a Row, St. Martin, the First-class Kingdom of the West Blue!!!”
“St. Martin successfully captured both the headlines of the world and the West Blue once again.“
These headlines shocked the entire West Blue.
For a moment, the surrounding kingdoms around St. Martin Kingdom felt threatened, and out of the five neighboring kingdoms, only two remained – the Timothy Kingdom and the Tutanah Kingdom. In a very short time, they quickly formed an alliance and dispatched joint forces to patrol the vicinity of St. Martin Kingdom!
However, for people in other seas and the Grand Line, it was just another kingdom in the West Blue. Even if it made the headlines a few more times, it would only be familiar, and not shocking.
It was similar to watching foreign war news in one’s own country. Even if that country was at war every day and made the news frequently, it would only become familiar, and there wouldn’t be any shock.

In a massive and luxurious reception hall.
At this moment, five imposing figures were seated in the hall.
The first one wore a black suit, had curly white hair, a bushy white beard, and a flat cap. There was a scar on his left cheek.
The second one wore a deep blue suit, had long straight white hair, and a long beard.
The third one wore a deep red suit, no tie, had golden hair, and a golden beard with a scar on his chest.
The fourth one wore a deep green suit, was bald with a large mustache, and had a birthmark on his forehead.
The fifth one wore a white Taoist robe, had a shaved head, wore glasses, and held a long katana in his hand.
These five individuals were the top leaders of the World Government, collectively known as the Five Elders!
“Knock, knock!”
The door of the reception hall was knocked.
“Come in!” said the scarred elder.
In came a tall man dressed in a white suit with a mask on his face.
“Sir, this is the latest danger assessment report!” The masked man handed over a stack of reports.
The scarred elder took the report and waved his hand, saying in a deep voice, “You may leave for now.”
“Yes!” The masked man respectfully nodded and then left the room.
“Everyone, this is the danger assessment report for this month. Let’s take a look together!” The scarred elder placed the report on the tea table in front of the others.
The other four elders nodded, and one by one, they picked up the report and carefully read through it.
The danger assessment report was compiled by the World Government to ensure its own position. It contained detailed intelligence about kingdoms, forces, organizations, individuals, etc., that could pose a threat to them, collected through various channels.
Experts analyzed the level of threat these entities posed to the World Government, which determined the countermeasures to be taken against them, such as strikes, restrictions, pursuit, warnings, or inducements.
The reports were arranged according to the level of threat, with the most significant threats placed at the top, including figures like Edward Newgate, Kaido, and Charlotte Linlin.
“This one, let the CP take care of him!”
“This one needs a warning!”
“We should continue to monitor this one closely!”
The elders discussed and quickly decided the fate of numerous influential figures and organizations known to outsiders.
“Alright, now let’s see this one. Hmm, the Kingdom of St. Martin?” The scarred elder picked up a document below and began to read.
The document displayed past achievements and intelligence about St. Martin, including Saints, Giants, Charlotte Linlin, and others. At the bottom of the document was the latest intelligence about the marriage alliance between Oga Kingdom and St. Martin, and how St. Martin had conquered the Kingdoms of Hall and Bell.
The scarred elder immediately identified the issue; he didn’t believe in the marriage alliance involving the entire kingdom.
After some thought, the scarred elder handed the intelligence report to the bearded elder beside him, saying, “Take a look!”
The bearded elder carefully examined it and then passed it to the mustached elder next to him.
Soon, the intelligence report circulated among the elders’ hands before being placed back in the center of the table.
“Ah, a powerful ant has infiltrated a group of weaker ants!” remarked the golden-bearded elder casually.
Indeed, to him and all the other elders, the Kingdom of St. Martin was merely an ant.
On the surface, St. Martin boasted more than ten vice-admiral-level individuals, capable of defeating ordinary rear admiral-level opponents. However, this did not change the fact that they were ants.
With such strength, they could easily be defeated by one admiral-level or a few vice-admirals.
And how many admiral-level figures did the World Government have?
When combined, including the Marine, CP, and the elders present, there were at least ten!
Not to mention the numerous vice-admirals and rear admirals under their command.
So, in their eyes, St. Martin was indeed a powerful ant.
Usually, this kind of ant wouldn’t even appear in this danger assessment report.
However, the only reason this ant appeared in these reports was due to its location in the West Blue.
The West Blue, as well as the other four seas and the first half of the Grand Line, served as the World Government’s backyard, housing most of its affiliated nations and being a significant source of Heavenly Tribute.
As a result, the strength of kingdoms in the West Blue was multiple times higher than the average, but in the eyes of the elders, they were still ants, and that’s why St. Martin appeared in this report.
This particular ant had the ability to cause trouble in their backyard and even began to encroach upon their territory by swallowing an affiliated nation!
“However, this ant is not very powerful, but its ambition is substantial!” said the bespectacled elder coldly.
“Hehe, to think they’ve allied with Charlotte Linlin,” chuckled the mustached elder.
“In just two short years, they have attacked two kingdoms and annexed an affiliated nation under the pretext of a marriage alliance. They are developing at a rapid pace! If we let them continue like this, it might be another Germa 66, and we’ll have a headache then!” said the scarred elder solemnly.
“Moreover, according to the information from CP, the last place Nico Robin disappeared was this kingdom. They’ve already begun a covert search inside it, and if she’s really there, I believe they will find her soon!” said the golden-bearded elder coldly.
“This kingdom has grand ambitions and develops quickly. Their offensive capabilities are strong, and they are not very obedient. However, their current strength and technology are average, so their level of threat is currently low!” pondered the bespectacled elder.
“So, how do we handle it?” asked the mustached elder, taking a sip of hot tea.
“They are good at putting on a facade, obedient on the surface, and actively paying Heavenly Tribute. They even called to say they’ve prepared this year’s Heavenly Tribute!” The bearded elder paused for a moment before proposing:
“So, let’s focus on monitoring them for now. Unless they commit a major offense or we confirm Nico Robin’s presence in the kingdom, our main approach should be to suppress, restrict, and warn them! If they still don’t behave, then we can easily find a reason to deal with them!”
“Agreed!”
“Seconded!”
“Sounds good!”
Quickly, all the elders reached a consensus!
After dealing with the danger assessment report for St. Martin, they put it behind them and moved on to handle other evaluation reports.
