Above Pirate King - Chapter 82
The West Blue
A Marine warship was sailing towards the direction of the Reverse Mountain.
It was the warship of Strala.
Shura, Aldebaran, and Douko were responsible for escorting him.
Just then, not far from their warship, there was a sudden explosion.
“Boom, boom, boom!”
Two ships were engaged in a firefight.
The ship in the rear was flying the Jolly Roger flag of the Skull Pirates.
The ship in the front was dilapidated, emitting smoke and sparks. On its bow stood a seven or eight-year-old girl, crying and shouting.
“Marine officers, help me!”
“Save me!”
“Waaah!”
…
The little girl stood at the bow, tears streaming down her face, pitifully crying out to Strala’s warship.
The two ships slowly approached the naval warship.
“Who will handle this?” Shura asked with a playful smile, looking at the two people beside him.
“Let’s stick to the old rules!” Aldebaran said with a murderous intent.
“Fine!” Douko nodded.
Then the three of them became solemn, staring at each other with sharp eyes, their hands gathering power.
Tension filled the air.
“Let’s begin!” Aldebaran’s lips curled up.
“Scissors!”
“Rock!”
“Paper!”
The three of them made their moves simultaneously.
Aldebaran threw a punch, while the other two showed scissors.
“Hahaha, I win!” Aldebaran raised his fist and laughed heartily.
“Ah… I lost!” Shura and Douko exchanged glances and sighed at the same time.
“Alright, I’ll handle it this time!” Aldebaran said with a smile.
As he spoke, he stood directly at the bow of the ship, arms crossed, assuming a stance.
His cosmos gathered on his wrist.
“Great Horn!”
A tremendous shockwave directly rushed towards the two ships ahead.
“Boom!”
A shockwave struck, and the two ships instantly turned into wreckage.
Aldebaran even saw the little girl who was standing at the bow earlier, with an expression of disbelief on her face before she died.
It was as if she was asking, “Are you devils? You didn’t even save such a pitiful little girl?”
This was the umpteenth attack the three of them had encountered in the past few days.
Disguising themselves as pirate attacks was the most common strategy, but there were also disguises as passing merchant ships, allied nation fleets, and the most exaggerated one was disguising as the Marine!
Even the three Saints on the ship couldn’t help but admire these assassins. They were willing to do anything for money.
Fortunately, Chris, who was also targeted for a bounty, had escaped quickly. As soon as the bounty was announced, he vanished, leaving behind only some underlings in the Black Wolf Island. The important members had all been taken away by him.
On the second day of his departure, the Black Wolf Island was wiped out by assassins. Not even a single chicken was spared.
“If we continue for another day, we should be near the Reverse Mountain, right?” Shura said in a deep voice.
“Yes, that’s the most important place on this journey!” Douko nodded with a serious expression.
The Marine hadn’t yet figured out a way to cross the Calm Belt using Seastone. Only pure physical powerhouses could swim across.
Therefore, the Reverse Mountain was an unavoidable route!
After the Grand Line, there were seven routes to sail through, but would the assassins still want to guess which route Strala would take?
Impossible!
Strala was worth a billion, after all!
Which assassin would be willing to gamble on that luck?
It’s better to wait at the Reverse Mountain!
Although many assassins had the same idea, here they had a hundred percent chance of intercepting Strala!
One day passed quickly, and Strala’s ship arrived in front of the Reverse Mountain.
The area was already filled with ships, with around hundreds of them from different factions.
By looking at the flags, most could easily be identified as pirates, mafia, or bounty hunters, among others.
There were also some that couldn’t be distinguished, possibly assassins or money-minded merchant ships.
“Hehe, they’re here!”
“A billion, a billion!”
“The bounty is mine, no one can snatch it!”
“I’ll take the lead, you guys eat my dust!”
“Even if you’re the Marine, I’ll still kill you. You’re worth a billion after all!”
…
As soon as they saw Strala’s ship, everyone on the surrounding ships became excited. Some ships immediately stood out from the rest and headed towards Strala’s ship.
“Let’s clear the small fry first!” Douko proposed.
“Sounds good!” Shura smiled and nodded.
Soon, the three of them stood simultaneously at the bow of the ship.
Their cosmos instantly gathered in their hands.
“Great Horn!”
“Rising Dragon Punch!”
“Excalibur!”
A tremendous impact broke out, golden flying dragons, countless slashes roaring forward, directly towards the fleet ahead.
“Boom!”
After a loud explosion, silence fell upon the world!
Only about half of the fleet ahead remained.
The rest turned into debris, even those grazed by the attacks slowly sinking to the bottom of the sea.
“Gulp!”
The remaining people on the ships swallowed their saliva, looking in fear at Strala’s ship and the three youths standing at the bow in golden armor.
“Is that… the Golden Saints of the Kingdom of St. Martin?” one person on a white-clad ship tremblingly said.
These assassins had investigated quite a bit before coming.
They knew that the escorts were the Golden Saints of the Kingdom of St. Martin.
However, they didn’t expect the Golden Saints to be this terrifying!
“P-Possibly…” the person next to him also trembled and nodded.
“Well, what are we waiting for? Run!!!” the person in white shouted loudly.
With his shout, the surrounding ships also heard and began to retreat, but it was too late!
“We haven’t finished cleaning up yet! Let’s go for another round!” Aldebaran scratched his head and revealed a simple smile.
“One more round!” Shura crossed his arms, smiling.
Their cosmos condensed once again.
“Boom!”
Another loud explosion.
Silence fell upon the world.
Only three ships remained!
The three of them knew that these three ships were formidable opponents. They hadn’t moved from the beginning, and even their attacks didn’t shake the three ships.
Each ship had a different flag.
On the middle ship, a tall and voluptuous woman wearing a white floral dress, holding a paper umbrella and wearing white cloth shoes, stood at the bow. Her smile was gentle and charming.
The flag on the ship depicted a spider exhaling green smoke.
On the ship to the left, a three-meter-tall, dark-skinned bald man stood at the bow. He wore shorts and a short-sleeved shirt, with muscles all over his body resembling black stones. His face had sharp angles, and his eyes were incredibly sharp.
The flag on the ship depicted a tightly clenched muscular arm.
On the ship to the right, a handsome young man wearing silver armor, with a ponytail tied, held a silver Lance with golden patterns in his hand.
The flag on the ship depicted a skull with a knight’s spear standing vertically.
“The three of you in the front, care to introduce yourselves?” Aldebaran shouted with a smile.
The three people on the opposite ships didn’t hide their identities and immediately revealed their names and codenames.
“Assassin, codename Jorogumo!” the gentle and charming woman, Bride of the Net, said with a smile.
“Bounty Hunter, Blackstone Arnold,” the bald man, Blackstone, said in a deep voice.
“Knight Pirates, Silver Knight, Baron Teutonic!” Teutonic raised his lance, pointing it at Strala’s ship, a confident smile on his face.
“The three Golden Saints of St. Martin, care to introduce yourselves?”Jorogumo said with a smile.
“Royal Guard of the Kingdom of St. Martin, Saints’ Legion, Twelve Golden Saints…”
“Aldebaran!”
“Douko!
“Shura!”
Aldebaran and the others said seriously.
