Arceus in One Piece - Chapter 95
BIG-MOM’s behavior gave Arceus a wake-up call: tree fruits as such can also fetch a high price; the tree fruits cultivated by Queen can be said to be second-generation tree fruits, even without the effects of lifting abnormal effects and restoring physical strength, their nutritional content and flavor far exceeded that of ordinary fruits.
Fruit is an indispensable part of the sailing process, and the resources of this world are in the hands of a few people; tree fruits can also be used to generate income.
The most important thing is BIG-MOM’s channel; she has a wide range of friends in the underground world.
BIG-MOM’s sweet tooth is vital to her, and she herself has the problem of anorexia, so as long as she has eaten something, there is a possibility of triggering anorexia.
The fruits that are exported are third-generation tree fruits, and with a bit of improvement, the third-generation tree fruits will lose their ability to reproduce, and then the tree fruit resources will be firmly in the hands of the Beasts and Thieves.
Kaido’s strength is still on the rise, and so is the development of the Hundred Beasts. By then, even the BIG-MOM pirate group won’t have the ability to handle the Hundred Beasts Pirate Group. BIG-MOM could care less about some things, but her children could not.
In order to prevent BIG-MOM from not being able to find the fruits or desserts she needs when she has an attack of Epicureanism, they will have to maintain a steady trade with the Beast, and then utilizing the channels in her hands will be a breeze.
Kaido will also be able to profit from the middleman’s behavior; Kaido gets the power, Big-Mom receives the food, Arceus uses the channel, and everyone gets what they want.
Although the value of these things is not the same, they all have different meanings to the three people.
At night, a bonfire can still be seen on the beach, the end of the pirates’ feast. Most of the pirates are already drunk, and those who have gained the ability to splash are jumping around on the surface of the sea, playing drunken madness.
A few of the better-connected men are desperately rowing after him, worried that he’ll drown himself if he dives into the sea.
Queen was in his lab cultivating his new crop, trying his hand at grafting, trying to come up with some weird fruits, Arceus was fusing new tablets to regain more power, and Kaido was off somewhere.
No one knows where he’s been when he’s been drinking, and while Aeolus always says he’s been drinking to his own detriment, it’s not really appropriate to say that he’s been drinking to his own detriment when he’s just retrieved a tablet through a channel.
Ashes, on the other hand, has just returned from a little problem he went to take care of, and now that they have their own territory, the pirates of the New World collect the taxes of a territory and are responsible for its safety.
Another group of newcomers had just passed through Fishman Island, and Asuka was there to deal with such a bold group of newcomers.
Although he missed the banquet, it was nothing to him.
“Are you done?”
Shaina’s voice came from the side; in order to facilitate their daily lives, Kaido had set aside an area on the island for Shaina and Ashes, and except for a few officers, any member of the pirate group and ordinary residents were forbidden to enter this area without orders.
This is also for their sake; Shaina will occasionally take off her merman form, and Ashes will occasionally take off his mask, so he and Shaina can be said to be “dead in the dark,” and anyone who sees their real faces will be silenced.
“Well, a few newcomers who don’t know what they’re doing.”
Even though they were young, the pirates who had just entered the New World were really just newcomers to Ashes.
Shaina knew that Ashes had just returned, and the chef had taken a break because of the banquet, so she brought Ashes a snack.
Flying fish sashimi, Ashes’ favorite food, is fine even without a chef, as she was in charge of the kitchen when she first came to sea.
Filleting fresh flying fish was a simple matter.
“And you? Did Lord Beast find what he was looking for?”
“No, but I’m making some progress, but there’s something else going on right now.” He said, handing Asuka a stack of documents about the organ trafficking assassination ring.
“What’s this?”
“Earlier, we encountered the Organ Trafficking Assassination Syndicate, and I found the Clan’s wings on their ship.”
Shaina gave a general description of what had happened earlier and the information she had pried out of her opponent’s mouth.
“They should have another pair of the same feathers at their headquarters; the Clan’s relics aren’t their artifacts.”
“Any plans?”
He was familiar with Shaina’s character, and since she’d mentioned this to him, odds were she’d already planned it out.
“There’s no need for a plan; that kind of person can just be destroyed.”
“Lord Sacred Beast?”
Shaina’s plan was directly rejected by Arceus before she could even say it.
“As I said, this debt will be recovered little by little, and that part of my deal with the Millennium Dragon included this.”
Initially, she had wanted to go on an assassination mission with Ashes to take out the ringleader and recover the clan’s relics, but now there was a change in plans; the assassination was still an assassination, but the mode of action was very different.
As we all know, the purpose of an assassination is to kill the target without anyone knowing.
Then, by eliminating all the witnesses, the incident would be unknown, so this is also an assassination.
“Lord Beast, won’t this affect your plan?”
“Of course not. Besides, it’s a promise I made, and a promise is a promise, and I see that some of the others are already itching to do something about it. Don’t you think so, Caddo?”
Arceus’ comment about Kaido made Asuka and Shaina freeze for a moment, then Shaina seemed to remember something and ran towards the back of the house, where she dug a wine cellar and brewed some wine according to Lunaria tradition.
This wine was called Fire Wine by the Lunarians because its only characteristic was its strength.
The One Thousand Thieves had been consuming a lot of liquor, and every time they feasted, they would run out of stock. And Kaido’s body had no limit to what he could drink. And he hadn’t had a good time in a while, so after he ran out of stock, he went to look for liquor elsewhere.
When they arrived here, they saw Kaido in the cellar.
Although Kaido was drunk, he could still hear Arceus’s words.
“Hiccup~ It seems like it’s been a while since I’ve done anything; there’s nothing to do anyway, so let’s go and do it right.”
He was a pirate; he didn’t need a reason for a lot of things, and he was only doing this because he wanted to.
But it looked like it would have to wait another two days; Kaido’s emotions were very uncontrollable when he was drunk; crying, laughing, raging, and slumbering were all possible.
A few months ago, the wood from the Ashes had been turned into a hull, and the main ship of the Orcs was about to embark on its first voyage.
