Be the Main God from Naruto - Chapter 35
Hinata glanced at the stack of “Naruto” manga books and responded weakly, “I… I drew them myself.”
Though naïve, gentle, and kind, she was not foolish.
Much of the content described in these books was true to life; calling them prophecy books wouldn’t be an exaggeration.
That Ino and Sakura were willing to lend her these prophetic books was a testament to their trust in her.
Hinata decided no matter what, she would not betray that trust!
“You drew these yourself?” Her father, Hiashi, looked at her with a half-smile.
“Yes.”
The young girl replied timidly.
“Good hobby, but try to draw something normal, and don’t stray onto the wrong path.”
Hinata’s face turned red upon hearing her father’s words.
She knew her path would be met with skepticism and even harsh criticism.
But she was determined to persevere!
Because this was truly what she wanted to do!
“Was it Sakura who gave these to you? Or was it Ino?” Hiashi suddenly asked.
“Ah?”
Panic flashed in Hinata’s eyes, her complexion shifted, and she quickly composed herself.
“Understood.”
The old ginger is still spicier, and with that ploy, Hiashi immediately got the answer he was looking for.
“You… should draw less of those nonsensical things. That set of ‘Naruto’ is not bad, though…”
With a sigh, Hiashi walked away.
He felt quite desperate!
His daughter had the same temperament as her mother; both outwardly gentle but stubborn at heart. Truly punishing her might lead to a lifetime of resentment.
Had he been wrong in his approach to educating Hinata all these years, and now he was simply set to continue making the same mistakes?
Of the two evils, choose the lesser!
Although, as a man, Hiashi felt uncomfortable watching “Naruto,” which is about the themes of yuri, yaoi, and female supremacy, he chose the latter.
Recalling the content he had read in the prophecy book the previous night, Hiashi paused as he was about to return to his study.
“I never thought Neji would think that way… I should visit him first.”
…
Land of Wind, Hidden Sand Village.
For two consecutive days, Team 7 enjoyed leisurely wanderings.
Although the Hidden Sand Village also existed in the virtual reality game “Shadow Break the Sky,” the scenery and customs differed.
“The food here is really good, but it’s a shame they don’t have Ichiraku’s ramen!” Naruto kept stuffing his face with food, surrounded by several Shadow Clones holding different dishes.
Chestnuts, high-protein tofu, octopus balls, hamburger steaks…
Sakura had bought many daily necessities for girls, and her mood seemed much improved for the moment, temporarily suppressing her longing for her parents.
The delicately minded Sakura pondered, “Every native in the virtual world is made so realistically, each with their thoughts and emotions. I might have thought we were in another world if it weren’t for retaining our real-world memories.”
“Thinking about it, why did Master Wang Yan insist that the three of us go in?”
Naruto’s mouth was full of food, and he mumbled something, but no one could understand what he was saying.
Sasuke scoffed, “Training! The year in that world has tempered our spirits. Compared to our peers, our mentalities are much stronger! Haven’t you noticed that Naruto has become more reliable than before?”
In his heart, Sasuke harbored another thought.
Take Gaara, for example, who is destined to be a future Kazekage in the prophecy book.
Perhaps Master Wang Yan is playing a long game, treating the Five Great Nations as chess pieces in his strategy!
Hearing this, Naruto forcibly swallowed the food, ready to argue.
But Sasuke didn’t give him a chance to speak and cut him off: “Master is calling us, let’s go!”
Moments later.
Hidden Sand Village Council Hall.
“You’ve arrived very punctually.”
Wang Yan nodded slightly, giving Team 7 an approving look, “After all, real-time and virtual game time is not synchronized; being late by an hour here is like half a month in ‘Shadow Break the Sky.'”
Without further ado, kinetic energy flowed, and three colorful helmets landed on their heads.
The trio simultaneously entered the virtual reality game world and successfully connected with Rasa and Gaara.
At that moment, Wang Yan suddenly noticed that the resource points had spiked by ten thousand.
“These resource points are unrelated to the Hidden Sand side; let’s see where they came from.”
After a brief trace, Wang Yan’s expression turned curious.
“Hiashi and Neji… I haven’t arranged them yet… It must be Hinata’s influence.”
Such is the so-called butterfly effect. Many things
Lead to other things.
“Eleven thousand one hundred resource points, not a bad supplement.”
A flicker of light danced in Wang Yan’s eyes.
…
Game world, the City of Shadows.
“Finally… back here again.”
Gaara stood in midair, gazing down at the city below, his heart filled with thoughts.
Three years!
Using humiliation as his drive for three years, he had relentlessly trained, fought, and explored ruins, surviving countless near-death experiences, and finally attained strength beyond a Kage!
“Your mastery of scientific ninja tools has peaked, and you still have many trump cards in hand, far surpassing my abilities from back then.”
Rasa’s remnant soul spoke solemnly in his necklace: “Even so, do not underestimate your opponents! Sasuke Uchiha is the strongest genius ever from the Leaf, and he might have improved a lot over these three years.”
“Understood.” Gaara nodded in acknowledgment.
Having their real memories blocked, Gaara and his father had no blood relation in this world. Initially, they despised each other, only cooperating out of necessity. Still, over a thousand days and nights of life-and-death experiences, they finally formed a strong bond of both mentor and friend.
Just as Gaara was about to follow Rasa’s advice to infiltrate the city and thoroughly investigate the Leaf lineage, a tall figure suddenly appeared before him.
Blue shirt, red and white fan emblem, arrogant expression…
If not Sasuke Uchiha, then who else could it be?!
Below in the city, Sakura blinked her starry eyes, infatuated: “Sasuke is even more handsome than before!”
Gaara heard this woman’s voice, and his face instantly twisted into a grimace.
The scenes of being humiliated and trampled on dignity all came flooding back.
The angrier he became, the calmer Gaara remained.
He had indeed become seasoned.
“The three-year agreement, let’s settle it today.”
Gaara coldly stared at Sasuke, his tone chillingly sharp.
Sakura, the Kage-level powerhouse backing him, had already been eliminated.
His current strength surpassed that defined by “Kage,” and he was confident he could defeat Sasuke Uchiha.
The only regret was that his only friend had been missing for two years, likely more unfortunate than not.
In Gaara’s view, the culprits were most likely Sasuke and Sakura, this despicable couple.
“Naruto, I will avenge you.”
He silently vowed in his heart.
However…
“Hey! Gaara! Good luck! If you win, I’ll treat you to ramen!”
Following this somewhat goofy voice, a blond-haired boy appeared in Gaara’s view.
“??”
Gaara’s face was full of astonishment, and his mind was as if a million alpacas were running wild.
You’re not dead?
So, where have you been these past two years?
Are you not a spy sent by the enemy?
Just when he had built up his momentum to its peak, it suddenly collapsed…
