Be the Main God from Naruto - Chapter 63
Today, the entire village of Konoha is riddled with pinhole cameras, part of Orochimaru’s “Scientific Ninjutsu: Skynet Technique.”
So, the moment Danzo Shimura and the old feudal forces of Konoha under his influence appeared, Orochimaru was immediately informed.
He had prepared numerous strategies for these people, yet he hadn’t anticipated this scene…
The images transmitted by the Skynet left Orochimaru both amused and shocked.
“Perhaps it’s karmic retribution for all the bad deeds Danzo has done?”
Orochimaru has been reading many literature and religious texts lately, filling his mind with new concepts.
Seeing the actions of Danzo’s group when they encountered “that person” and their attempt to eliminate him conveniently, Orochimaru felt a chuckle rise within.
“The concept of karma isn’t logical after all. His situation should be described as…”
“Self-inflicted, beyond help.”
…
Minutes earlier.
Danzo and the reviving old feudal forces of Konoha made a comeback.
A group of ninjas wearing eerie white masks silently infiltrated Konoha.
They used explosive tags, gunpowder, and various offensive ninjutsu to severely damage public facilities, promoting their existence through acts of terrorism to avoid being forgotten by the world.
It was the perfect opportunity to strike, especially during the “Strongest Chunin Exam” period when Konoha’s defensive forces were significantly dispersed.
If the attack succeeded, the reputation and standing of the pseudo-Konoha government would suffer a tremendous blow!
However, Danzo was dissatisfied with his subordinates’ performance.
Apart from the core members of the Foundation, the recruits had not killed a single person. They seemed eager only to destroy some meaningless buildings.
“Unwilling to slaughter civilians?”
A fierce light flickered in Danzo’s narrow eyes.
Konoha had been too long governed by the weak Third Hokage, acquiring a soft atmosphere and customs.
He would bring about revolutionary changes once he had complete control over Konoha.
He wanted every ninja, every villager, to take pride in invading other countries and consider it a leisure activity to slaughter enemy civilians!
No matter, if these people did not want to kill, then they wouldn’t kill for now.
Thinking this, Danzo couldn’t help but sneer: “Sometimes, not killing can have a better effect!”
On the battlefield, he had often seen people deliberately disable enemies, injuring but not killing them, to draw out and pick off their allies one by one.
In peacetime, he could employ the same tactics to build a reputation.
Even a reputation built on terror was something Danzo desired.
He had been like a rat in a sewer for far too long.
He wanted to stand in the sunlight and be the most dazzling person!
He, himself, was Konoha!
At that moment, Danzo’s peripheral vision swept across the street and caught sight of a young civilian man without a forehead protector, carrying a cup of red bean ice, passing by without any sense of crisis.
“From now on, every resident of Konoha who does not submit to me is my enemy!”
Danzo’s hands quickly formed seals, and a grim smile spread across his face.
Rat-Ox-Dragon-Tiger-Monkey-Rooster-Dog-Pig.
Ninjutsu: Corpse Contortion Technique!
This was not a combat ninjutsu but an interrogation tool used to torture enemies!
Anyone afflicted by this technique would have their chakra violently agitated within their body. Their limbs would twist like pretzels, their nerves would ultimately deteriorate, muscles would burst, and bones would shatter!
“Dispose of him! You’re the first.”
Danzo’s smile suddenly froze on his face.
He saw the calm young man simply turn his head and glance over.
Pop!
It seemed as though the young man’s gaze held some mysterious power, and Danzo’s ninjutsu, like a balloon pricked by a needle, burst without any flair, dissipating into nothing.
Just with a glance!
“Who on earth are you!”
Danzo scrutinized the man’s face, feeling eerily familiar, sure that he was a resident of Konoha, yet he couldn’t recall the man’s identity no matter how hard he tried.
But the man’s calm and composed demeanor alarmed him.
He had seen him before, even clashed with him…
“I remember now! It’s you! Wang Yan!”
As memories flooded back like a tidal wave, Danzo stared at the composed young man, his facial muscles twisting violently: “It was you! You took my Izanagi!”
Wang Yan scooped up a spoonful of the soft ice cream into his mouth, looking blankly at Danzo: “That thing was never yours to begin with. If you could take it from Sh
isui, why couldn’t I take it from you? Don’t act so morally superior; it’s nauseating.”
As the memories Danzo had suppressed resurfaced, his hatred for the man before him intensified: “I know now! You’re the one who encouraged the Sannin to defect from Konoha! You fiend, you will lead to the decline of Konoha! Just wait! In a hundred years, you will be nailed to the pillar of shame in history, branded as a criminal of Konoha!”
Hearing this, Wang Yan smirked.
“Do you not feel cold standing on such a high moral ground?”
“Talking to you is pointless. But it seems you wanted to disable me just now?”
Wang Yan’s lips curved slightly, his smile warm but his gaze as cold as eternal ice: “I am a reasonable person. I don’t go too far. Let’s do unto others as they would do unto us then.”
With that, he snapped his fingers.
Zzzzt…
A pale flash of electricity, and it was gone.
The kunai, shuriken, and poison-tipped senbon in Danzo’s side pouch seemed to be drawn by an invisible force, but it flew up and shot toward his limbs!
Ting ting ting ting…
Sparks flew, and the air filled with the scent of rust.
Once an elite on the battlefield, Danzo had considerable strength and experience and was not disabled by these rebelling ninja tools.
However, his sleeves and trouser legs were now punctured in various places, and his limbs began to bleed.
“Magnet Release? Are you a spy from the Land of Wind?!”
Danzo’s expression became serious, “No, that’s not right! Magnet Release is a Kekkei Genkai formed by combining Wind Release and Lightning Release, but there’s no sign you’ve used Wind Release on your body…”
Instead of directly responding to Danzo’s confusion, Wang Yan silently instructed the support program to remember this attack data and add it to the database for comprehensive analysis.
“Lord Main God, using electromagnetic torsion to manipulate metal objects of similar mass costs 31.56% of the energy it would take to use direct telekinesis.”
“Not bad.”
Wang Yan nodded slightly, quite satisfied with the little trick he had figured out.
His gaze fell on Danzo, his tone mocking: “Electromagnetism knows no boundaries, don’t you understand? Having such boundless potential but not knowing how to use it, truly an infuriating fellow…”
Initially, he had let Danzo go once because he saw potential in him, hoping Danzo would surprise him. After all, altering destiny wasn’t just something that affected protagonists.
Unfortunately, Danzo was too dim-witted and had shown no progress for long, still engaged in conspiracies and internal strife.
In Wang Yan’s words, he was “too small-minded.” In Itachi’s words, “he lacked the capacity.”
“Potential?” Danzo was baffled.
He had potential?
Would he need to transplant Uchiha’s eyes if he genuinely had potential? Would he need Hashirama’s cells?
