Be the Main God from Naruto - Chapter 64
Wang Yan looked at Danzo with a half-smile.
“Talent, personality, ability, persona… Regardless of the term, they all ultimately describe individual traits.”
“Your trait is ‘adaptive integration.'”
At this point, Wang Yan looked at Danzo as if he were simple-minded: “Your blood already had traces of what might be called ‘perfect blood.’ It can adapt and integrate genetic fragments from various life forms. Otherwise, why do you think you survived after transplanting Hashirama’s cells and so many Sharingan?”
“And aren’t you curious why your Hashirama cells didn’t interact with Shisui’s Mangekyo Sharingan to evolve into the Rinnegan?”
Rinnegan!
The legendary eyes of the Sage of Six Paths!
Was that how it came about?
Danzo was puzzled, but his movements didn’t slow down as he quietly reduced all the metal objects on his person to ash.
While making his subtle moves, he retorted: “Impossible! My parents, and even my ancestors, were ordinary people without any Kekkei Genkai! My original bloodline was lowly and vile!”
“Now, I possess the bloodline of the First Hokage, Hashirama Senju! It can be said I am Hashirama’s son!”
“I am the inheritor of all his traits, and I am the will of fire. I am the only legitimate successor of the Senju clan! From now on, I am not Danzo Shimura, I am… Senju Danzo!”
The more he spoke, the more furious he became, his tone increasingly fervent.
He wasn’t trying to convince Wang Yan, he was merely hypnotizing himself.
Danzo, in his secret base, had already performed a complete blood transfusion on himself, even replacing his bone marrow stem cells and internal organs with those cloned from Hashirama’s cells.
Now, he had wholly lost the trait Wang Yan spoke of.
Wang Yan, fully aware of his movements and thoughts, chose not to expose him.
“Still clinging to bloodline supremacy… such an inferior yet vain individual.”
Wang Yan nonchalantly spoke to himself: “This so-called ‘perfect blood’ is merely about adaptive integration, passive evolution. Someone once had a trait similar to yours; two of his sons were bitten by a wolf and a bat, respectively, and they turned into a werewolf and a vampire.”
“And you limit your vision only to humans?”
“How disappointing.”
With that, Wang Yan levitated his right hand, pointing at Danzo.
The concept of perfect blood was incredibly overrated. It wasn’t anything special. Creating a vial with resource points was not too costly; it could even be cloned and endlessly propagated.
Moreover, Danzo’s blood was only nearing the concept of perfect blood and hadn’t reached that level.
His genes were incomplete, flawed, and in need of evolution.
However, Danzo was, unfortunately, quite unattractive, and the will of the multiverse across any dimension never favored those with low aesthetic value.
This universal rule was indifferent to gender and age.
A chance to change his destiny had slipped through his fingers.
“Is it Magnet Release again? I have no metal nearby! The Izanagi is still cooling down, isn’t it? You’ve lost this time!” Danzo, ignorant and fearless, charged at Wang Yan.
“Naive.”
Wang Yan flicked his finger.
Pale electricity coiled around Danzo, and even though they were still far apart, Danzo felt his limbs instantly twist and deform…
He had been completely disabled.
“Electromagnetism can directly affect the metal elements in your body.”
Wang Yan walked past Danzo, speaking solemnly: “Being unattractive means you should read more, study more to change your fate, understand? Remember this for your next life: be a good person.”
He glanced down at the red bean ice in his hand, his eyes crescent-shaped.
“Good, it hasn’t melted.”
Wang Yan continued to enjoy his dessert as he walked away, disappearing at the end of the street.
Danzo Shimura, or the self-proclaimed Senju Danzo, was surrounded by a group of Konoha ANBU a few seconds later.
The ninja from the Foundation scattered like birds and beasts, with no one coming to his rescue.
His loyal followers had already decided on their appointment with the Grim Reaper…
…
Konoha, Technology Department, seventh floor.
Orochimaru led Sasuke and Naruto into an external office—he wasn’t keen on letting Naruto, a walking disaster, stay in his archive room.
“Speak, what is the important matter?” As a scientist turned ruler, his style was not wasting time on trivialities.
Sasuke and Naruto explained their purpose in turns.
Although their strength had significantly improved recently, they were still somewhat inadequate against the monstrous opponents in the strongest Chun.
In Exam Ever.
They were interested in acquiring a powerful ability.
Their Destiny Stones were sufficient, but they lacked the necessary reward points.
“Interesting. There’s such an ability exchange? Rather than calling it an ability, it’s more like a skill, isn’t it? Indeed, the universe is vast and filled with endless knowledge…”
Orochimaru murmured to himself, the enthusiasm in his serpent-like eyes blazing.
After a moment, he regained his composure and smiled wickedly: “I can lend you the reward points without interest, but I have one condition.”
“Please say,” Sasuke responded politely.
After spending time together harmoniously, his view of Orochimaru had significantly changed.
The stereotypes left by the prophecy books were not the entirety of Orochimaru, not even the tip of the iceberg.
He was cruel and cold-blooded, but he was a brilliant scientist and a dreamer worth admiring!
“After the exam, I need samples and data of your bodies post-use of this skill. Samples include blood, hair, nails, urine, saliva, bone marrow, ****…”
Orochimaru listed many requirements, causing Sasuke and Naruto to blush with embarrassment.
Thus, he produced a contract detailing the rights and obligations of both parties.
The two boys did not object to the scientist’s meticulousness and spirit of the contract.
In the period before the written test, they had signed no fewer than ten similar contracts.
In this matter, Orochimaru did not need to deceive them, nor would he.
The contract was sealed, and the reward points were transferred.
Naruto and Sasuke pooled their accumulated reward points together, finally purchasing that ability!
An ability powerful enough to boost their combat effectiveness by dozens of times!
…
The second phase of the strongest Chunin Exam began!
The practical phase was underway!
Five hundred seventy-five contestants, divided into 115 teams.
The fluorescent screen displayed that the practical phase would use a point system: win a match for 5 points, lose for 0 points, and tie for 2 points.
Each team would engage in 114 battles!
This was a contest of strength without any chance for luck or flukes!
The audience, excited for the spectacle, showed their eagerness and anticipation.
The contestants, however, let out boos.
“What a joke! That’s impossible!”
“People will get injured in each battle. Considering healing and recovery time, it might take a year to complete…”
“Wrong… Have you forgotten those helmets Konoha brought out during the written test?”
“Eh?!”
