Be the Main God from Naruto - Chapter 83
The atmosphere became awkward.
Kakashi and Gaara weren’t ones for pretenses. With their tasks exposed, they stopped hiding and formed a temporary team.
Naruto, unprepared, was overjoyed to share a task. He didn’t even look at the task name and immediately confirmed it.
**Cross-Dressing Art Exhibition…**
Seeing the task requirements made Naruto’s face turn pale.
Although he created the Sexy Jutsu and Harem Jutsu, in his mind, these were offensive ninjutsu meant to defeat opponents, not some kind of illusion to entice others!
Especially making other men fall for his charm…
For some reason, Naruto recalled losing his first kiss during the team assignments, sending a shiver down his spine.
“Argh! This is terrible!”
Naruto dashed into the elevator, with Gaara and Kakashi exchanging glances before following him silently.
When they caught up to Naruto, he had already informed Orochimaru about the situation.
“Hehehe…”
Orochimaru’s chilling laugh made everyone uncomfortable. His golden snake eyes fixed on Naruto as he gestured, “Come, let me tell you a story.”
Orochimaru had just completed new research on brain waves and was in an excellent mood. Otherwise, he wouldn’t waste time like this, even with his fantastic relationship with Naruto.
Reclining on the sofa, he began to tell his story.
Not just Naruto but Kakashi and Gaara also listened intently.
**[A daimyo told a wandering ninja, I’ll give you two choices.]**
**[The first is to give you 500,000 ryo daily for 30 days.]**
**[The second is to start with 0.01 ryo on the first day, 0.02 ryo on the second day…]**
**[Before he could finish, the wandering warrior interrupted, I’ll choose the second!**]
**[30 days later…]**
**[The young man received 4.65 ryo.]**
Naruto burst into laughter, “That ninja is so stupid! I’d choose the first one!”
Orochimaru covered his face, seemingly unable to bear it.
Thankfully, there were still two good listeners.
Gaara seemed to have an epiphany, asking, “Does this story tell us not to interrupt others?”
Kakashi nodded in agreement, thinking the wandering ninja might have believed he’d get double the amount each day, but it only increased by 0.01 each day.
Orochimaru shook his head, sighing deeply.
He felt increasingly out of sync with the ninja.
However, as a scientist, he saw things through to the end.
After a brief pause to collect his thoughts, Orochimaru fixed his gaze on Gaara and Kakashi, giving a nuanced answer, “This story shows… a good brain is a wonderful thing.”
“Even if the young man’s second choice were to get double the amount each day for 30 days, he would only get 10,737,418.23 ryo, while the first choice would total 15 million ryo.”
“A good brain?” Naruto exclaimed, “What’s that supposed to mean? I don’t get it at all!”
Naruto had come for comfort, not a confusing story from Orochimaru.
“Well, if you don’t understand, that’s fine. Just remember to ask me first if you encounter a similar problem. Don’t make impulsive decisions.”
Orochimaru genuinely cared about Naruto, his excellent experimental subject… er, assistant. It would be a significant loss if Naruto died on a mission due to intermittent intelligence issues.
“Now, let’s talk about those tasks.”
“Let’s start with gender-swapped admirers and lovers.”
Orochimaru looked at the three before him with a knowing smile, considering it a good research topic.
From the endless dimensions’ stories that Jiraiya wasted his reward points on, Orochimaru noticed a common theme:
Regardless of power or intentions, characters with unattractive appearances often meet tragic ends.
Villains who wanted to destroy the world always failed in their goals.
The most potent force in the multi-dimensional realms didn’t seem to be a sage chakra, divine power, or demonic energy but a power called “love.”
Orochimaru felt it was the perfect timing to delve into this.
Naruto, Gaara, and Kakashi’s shared task was an excellent entry point.
“What kind of women do you like?” Orochimaru asked meaningfully.
Personality, appearance, skills, hobbies…
These were the questions to be asked next.
To complete a task, you couldn’t just rush head-on or rely on inspiration; it required a perfect plan.
…
While Kakashi navigated life’s strange paths, his old classmate and comrade Uchiha Obito were engaged in something challenging.
After reading the forbidden scroll thoroughly, Obitodeeply breathed, “So this is the Reanimation Jutsu? Orochimaru’s modified version seems more effective, retaining most of the revived’s strength…”
As one of the current controllers behind the Akatsuki organization, Obito naturally received a copy of the gift Orochimaru sent in the pursuit of peace.
Reanimation Jutsu: Orochimaru’s Modified Version had significant differences in hand signs compared to the original. After briefly closing his eyes and recalling, Obito began slowly and carefully forming the seals.
**Rat – Ox – Water – Dog – Tiger.**
Then, he pressed his hand onto the floating dirt before him.
Black runes instantly imprinted onto the ground, and gray-white mist spread out.
When the mist cleared.
A stern-looking man appeared.
He wore a black bodysuit underneath black robes, with iron-red armor on top.
On his back, he carried the traditional fan of the Uchiha clan.
Though the fan looked peculiar, its origin was extraordinary!
Made from the branches of the God Tree, it was challenging and even could reflect attacks.
With this “treasure,” one could rebound an opponent’s ninjutsu back at them, making it a formidable weapon.
“Uchiha Madara.”
Obito’s gaze fell on the fan, his red eyes narrowing slightly beneath the orange swirl mask.
The Reanimation Jutsu: Orochimaru’s Modified Version had clear pros and cons, all detailed in the forbidden scroll.
The revived retained most of their combat power, but they lacked taste, smell, and creativity, couldn’t sleep or experience positive emotions, accumulating only negative feelings, effectively walking corpses.
It might be okay initially, but the revived personality would become increasingly irritable and erratic over time.
There were ways to solve these drawbacks…
