- Chapter 105 - I Like Watching Women Fight The Most
The flames of war continued to rage in Soul Society.
Compared to the Ninth Division’s swift and clean actions, other Divisions were struggling.
The main reason was that their Captains’ Zanpakuto also defected and disappeared without a trace.
After finishing his business, Tokikaze left the Ninth Division barracks alone.
Although he was used to exploiting his subordinates and had become accustomed to it, making soldiers who had just experienced a fierce battle immediately return to patrol duty seemed to be somewhat inhumane.
After much thought, he decided to exploit the soldiers of other divisions.
However, not far from leaving the Ninth Division barracks, a familiar figure caught his eye on the streets of Seireitei.
A petite figure wearing the white Captain haori, swiftly darting between buildings with incredible Shunpo speed.
The Captain of the Second Division, Soi-Fon.
In front of her, a golden light resembling a star moved back and forth, occasionally stopping in mid-air, as if toying with Soi-Fon.
“Damn it!” Soi-Fon muttered and erupted with even greater Reiatsu, closing the distance between them. “Don’t think you can escape, Suzumebachi!”
“Hehe, is that all you’ve got?”
A slightly sharp voice echoed from the light. “Since that woman disappeared and betrayed us, your strength hasn’t been the same as before, my master!”
The mockery was clear.
“Without that woman by your side, you’ve lost your fighting spirit!”
Taking advantage of the pause, Tokikaze finally saw the true form of the light.
A small figure with yellow and black floral patterns, resembling an enlarged version of a bee with twin tails, albeit smaller.
She was even smaller than Tokikaze’s palm.
“Shut up, you fool!”
Being struck in her sore spot, Soi-Fon’s speed increased instantaneously as she darted towards Suzumebachi mid-air.
Facing the sudden attack, Suzumebachi’s face showed a triumphant smile as she swiftly dodged.
As Soi-Fon’s Zanpakuto, her speed was not inferior to Soi-Fon’s full-speed Shunpo.
As she dodged, Suzumebachi counterattacked, assaulting Soi-Fon from above, and a small blade on her right arm directly struck Soi-Fon’s back.
A butterfly-like pattern appeared on Soi-Fon’s Captain’s haori.
Death Seal, Homonka!
Being hit on the same spot would trigger an instant-death effect, an unbeatable ability.
Of course, the prerequisite was that the Reiatsu of the one hit by the instant-death effect could not be much stronger than Soi-Fon’s.
Soi-Fon fell to the ground miserably, realizing she was at a disadvantage. If another attack came, she might truly meet her end.
“See, I was right, wasn’t I?”
Suzumebachi was smug, hovering in mid-air, “Now you can’t even fight normally.”
“Get ready to accept your fate, death is your ultimate destiny!”
In the next moment, the attack came.
A dazzling golden light flashed across the sky, as Suzumebachi fully utilized her advantage.
Her diminished size made it impossible to be caught, and her lightning-fast speed was on par with Soi-Fon herself.
Even in Soi-Fon’s unbalanced state of mind, she had formed a crushing posture.
“You’re an old-fashioned fool who doesn’t understand fashion.”
Suzumebachi taunted as she attacked, “You don’t even know what I’m thinking. You’re not worthy to be my master. Die, die!”
With just a few moments of dodging, Soi-Fon’s Captain’s haori was torn by Suzumebachi’s attack, revealing a long gash along with her sleeve.
Her fair skin was exposed, and her slightly protruding profile was particularly conspicuous.
“It’s been over three years, do you still remember that woman’s name?”
Suzumebachi seemed to have tasted success from her previous verbal attack, so she attempted to breach Soi-Fon’s psychological defenses again.
“But even if you remember, I doubt that woman remembers you.”
“Otherwise, why didn’t she take you with her when she left?”
As the words fell, Soi-Fon’s pupils shrank, and her movements visibly slowed.
At that moment, Suzumebachi seized the opportunity and transformed into a yellow flash, heading straight for the nearest Homonka.
Soi-Fon also realized this and hastily used Shunpo to evade, but it was already too late.
At this critical moment, a violent wind suddenly swept across the calm street.
Suzumebachi was caught off guard and was immediately blown away dozens of meters.
“You damn bastard!”
She immediately identified the source of the wind, a detestable figure at the end of the street.
A Soul Reaper! They were all damned!
“Captain Tokikaze…” Soi-Fon’s eyes flashed with surprise. “Since when did you…”
“Since she tore your clothes just now.”
Tokikaze, an honest man, admitted that he had been watching the battle for a while.
If he hadn’t considered that there would be nothing to watch if Soi-Fon died, he might have waited a little longer.
Soi-Fon subconsciously looked at her body, her Captain’s haori torn to shreds, with even her undershirt torn.
For a moment, her delicate face flushed red.
“Haha, how rare!”
Suzumebachi flew back from a distance, laughing madly in the air. “There’s actually a man who appreciates your appearance.”
“Hey hey, what’s so attractive about her flat body!”
At these words, Tokikaze’s gaze shifted back and forth between Soi-Fon and Suzumebachi.
After a moment, he pondered, “It seems like you’re not that strong either.”
Suzumebachi: “???”
“You damn bastard, I knew Soul Reapers were good for nothing!”
“Die!”
Enraged, Suzumebachi abandoned Soi-Fon and transformed into a flash, heading straight for Tokikaze.
She would make this person pay a painful price.
Buzz—
Terrifying Reiatsu erupted, and a dazzling pillar of light shot straight into the sky, resplendent and magnificent.
Endless pressure instantly caused Suzumebachi’s movements to slow down.
From a distance, Soi-Fon watched in astonishment as the figure in the pillar of light was unexpectedly powerful.
Such Reiatsu, even among the many Captains, could be considered exceptional, right?
“You little pest.” Tokikaze sneered, “Could you please repeat what you just said?”
Suzumebachi’s speed was bested, and as she looked at the suddenly enlarged face before her, intense fear surged in her heart.
“No!”
Driven by fear, Suzumebachi seemed to break through her limits, breaking through the blockade of Tokikaze’s Reiatsu. Her speed returned to that of a flash.
But at this point, she no longer had any intention of fighting Tokikaze.
The current Suzumebachi just wanted to escape from this dangerous place.
“Hmph, trying to escape?”
Tokikaze transformed into a tyrant who abused his power, his Zanpakuto was suddenly unsheathed at his waist, and a fierce wind rose, engulfing everything in its path.
In just an instant, everything in front of him was swallowed up!
