Bloodline Limit - Chapter 465
And causing the darkness and purity, the sources of the dark light and the golden-green light, were within the distant Land of Snow’s palace. In the palace, two individuals hovered in mid-air on each side, their bodies enveloped in black and golden-green light.
These two different-colored orbs were continuously emitting beams of light into the sky. These two beams of light kept shooting forth, causing the covered area to expand further and further. It had already reached a range close to the Fire Country from the Land of Snow.
“What’s happened to them?” Bulma stood dumbfounded below, looking at Ryoha and Tsunade enveloped in two different-colored lights in the sky, feeling a bit anxious.
“I’m not sure either. Perhaps, at the last moment, their abilities both successfully completed separately. At this instant, a new energy was generated due to the birth of this ability, and it was so intense that it involuntarily released. Moreover, their energies are both quite extreme, existing in two completely different domains.”
“Ryoha’s energy gives off a sensation of darkness and annihilation, while Tsunade’s energy gives off a sensation of life and light. These two extreme energies are being born simultaneously, as if they’re competing against each other. Initially, due to their recent birth, they were somewhat uncontrollable. Add the competition between them, and they’ve been continuously erupting.”
Kurenai pondered for a moment and then put up a mental barrier to block the gusts of wind generated by the two light beams before speaking.
“So, how long will this last?” Hinata, now a married woman, was completely different from before, unable to hide her concern and worry.
“No need to worry. Although they can’t control it for the moment, neither side has the intention of attacking the other. They’re just initially clashing with their energies. Soon, both of them will gain preliminary control. It’s truly overpowering. Are these two really energies produced by chakra?” Kurenai couldn’t help but exclaim in amazement.
As if in agreement with Kurenai’s words, the glowing auras around the two individuals gradually receded about five seconds later. They disappeared entirely, and then Ryoha and Tsunade exchanged a glance in mid-air, smiled at each other, and descended to the ground to relieve the others’ worries.
“Are you both alright?” Bulma rushed forward immediately, giving Ryoha a once-over, and still concerned, asked after confirming his safety.
“We’re fine. Kurenai explained why this happened earlier. There’s no need to worry,” Ryoha held Bulma and then turned to Hinata, Kurenai, and the others, giving them a reassuring look.
“Hey, hey, hey, let’s put that aside for now. What abilities have you two developed? It seems quite spectacular.” Byakko floated over. If she hadn’t said anything, it would’ve been fine, but her words piqued the curiosity of the others, who had been worried about Ryoha and Tsunade’s safety just moments ago. They were worried that Ryoha and Tsunade had overlooked other matters, and now that Tsunade and Ryoha were fine, they naturally wanted to satisfy their curiosity.
“Me?” Ryoha thought back to his previous experiences. He didn’t expect that the strange sensation of indistinctness he had after combining with Tsunade had enabled him to effortlessly fuse with the most challenging Wood Release. Furthermore, he continued by utilizing Ice Release, Dust Release, and Shikotsumyaku. While the latter three weren’t as easily integrated as the first, there seemed to be a mysterious attraction, as if some energy was drawing his chakra within, merging them harmoniously.
As a result, although Shikotsumyaku, Ice Release, and Dust Release weren’t as seamlessly integrated as Wood Release, they lacked the previously overwhelming sense of difficulty. Within the fleeting moment of their Sharingan’s dimension, Ryoha and Tsunade managed to complete their new abilities in half a year’s time. At the moment of completion, they involuntarily soared into the sky, as if they were releasing this newborn power.
Until just a moment ago, when the two exchanged a glance, they finally understood that the source of the mysterious attraction was each other. Ryoha had this sensation, and so did Tsunade. Especially after they emerged from the experience, their powers – one of darkness and annihilation, the other of life and purity – were truly extreme. It was as if they were the Tai Chi’s black and white yin and yang, existing at two extremes yet interconnected.
Thus, Ryoha and Tsunade both came to the same conclusion: the source of the mysterious attraction that aided their fusion and development was each other. It was precisely because of this that they simultaneously went into seclusion and practiced. They even entered the same spiritual world. With their union, this inexplicable feeling arose.
“Darkness, huh? I never imagined that the fusion of Sharingan, Byakugan, Nine-Tails’ chakra, Wood Release, Dust Release, Ice Release, and Shikotsumyaku – after blending all these Bloodline Limits, they would give birth to boundless darkness. I feel like I’m now the source of all darkness in the world, capable of controlling all the darkness in the world. As long as I wish it, the entire Shinobi world will be shrouded in my darkness.”
Ryoha sensed the horrifying black chakra within him, which he named “Dark Chakra.” An aura of darkness radiated from him, blending with Tsunade’s aura of life. It was truly astonishing. These two extreme forces surprisingly didn’t conflict with each other.
“Life, huh? I never thought that the ability I developed, based on my life-force chakra from Wood Release, would far exceed my expectations. It’s even more perfect than I imagined. Not only does it possess life, but it also carries the inviolable radiance of judging all things. It’s as if, as long as I wish it, the world will be enveloped in the holy power of life. I am the source of life, so, of course, I can create life.”
Tsunade felt the golden-green chakra within her, a power that seemed capable of creating life. She named it “Life Chakra.”
“In that case, my new ability will be called ‘Dark Release.'”
“In that case, my new ability will be called ‘Holy Release.'”
The two simultaneously spoke the same words, with a remarkably synchronized tone. Apart from the words “Dark” and “Holy,” everything else was identical.
“Haha!” As these words were uttered, they couldn’t help but exchange a glance and both burst into laughter. Even though it seemed like a short time had passed, if one counted the time spent in the Sharingan’s dimension, it had been nearly two years. When considering that they had been preparing for such a major event over two years ago, the combined time from the moment in the Sharingan’s dimension to the present had totaled around five years. Five years of effort, five years of dedication – today, they were finally reaping the rewards. Could they not be happy?
