Bloodline Limit - Chapter 528
“Is this really going to work?” After a night of discussion, Ryoha, Tsunade, Bulma, and Kurenai finally reached a decision. However, this approach carried risks.
If it were anyone else, Ryoha wouldn’t care about their well-being. But right now, Guren wasn’t just his subordinate; she was also his woman. Ryoha didn’t want anything bad to happen to her. Although he understood that the path to becoming stronger was fraught with danger and obstacles, he couldn’t help but feel a bit worried when it came to the woman he cared about the most.
“We have no other choice. This method is the only way to accelerate her growth without leaving any negative side effects and, in fact, will greatly benefit Guren,” Bulma sighed and waved her hand, indicating that this was the best option. This was possible because of the collaboration between two of the strongest individuals in the ninja world, Ryoha and Tsunade, combined with Bulma’s technology and Kurenai’s expertise in spiritual energy.
If it were anyone else, they wouldn’t even consider such a method. Any shortcut to increase one’s power in a short time was usually harmful and futile. Guren could only access this “free” power boost thanks to the combined efforts of Ryoha and the others, who were taking on the associated risks on her behalf.
“That’s our only choice.” Ryoha sighed, realizing that Bulma was right, and he had been too greedy. This was the best outcome they could hope for.
“Have you heard everything? It’s your decision,” Ryoha said towards the door. Guren had apparently overcome her peculiar walking posture due to her pain and had made her way to the research room. She had been eavesdropping outside the door the whole time.
Hearing Ryoha’s concern for her, Guren felt a warm sensation in her heart. She had entrusted herself to him, and her affection for him deepened. The man who had taken everything from her wasn’t just interested in her body; he genuinely cared for her.
“Guren is deeply grateful for your assistance. If I were to shrink back in the face of danger, it would be an affront to the help you have all provided me,” Guren made her intention clear. She was accepting their plan.
“Are you ready, then?” After her words, Bulma brought Guren to a table, and Guren obediently lay down. Bulma then injected a transparent liquid into her body.
“This is a gene extract I obtained from Karin’s blood. After some modifications, it can be safely absorbed by you. After successful fusion, your regenerative abilities and vitality will greatly increase. Once we extract genes from a single drop of Tsunade’s blood and safely integrate them into your body, you will be much safer. At the very least, your body won’t be overwhelmed by Tsunade’s genes.”
Tsunade’s genes were extremely powerful, and the most important thing was that Tsunade herself was still alive, unlike Hashirama, who had passed away many years ago. Even a small amount of genes extracted from her blood would be formidable. For Guren, this could potentially cause her genes to become unstable and result in a catastrophic breakdown, just like giving an ordinary person the power of a god, causing their body to explode.
So, they had to take it one step at a time. All of this was to make Guren physically and mentally stronger. Her regenerative abilities, strength, and overall vitality would improve, thanks to the combination of Karin’s and the Senju Clan’s genes. Then, with Kurenai’s help, she would boost her spiritual energy.
Finally, Ryoha would infuse Guren with Dark Release chakra, and Tsunade would simultaneously input her Holy Release chakra to counteract the sinister influence and allow Guren to gradually absorb and combine both, enhancing her Crystal Release significantly. What else she might gain from this was up to fate.
It could be said that everything before had been aimed at continuously enhancing Guren’ physical, mental, and spiritual resilience and recovery capabilities, making her strong enough to withstand the powers of Ryoha, Tsunade, and Kurenai.
This process had been very dangerous because it was an expedited procedure. Unlike Ryoha, who had gradually developed his abilities step by step, starting with the potential for the Sharingan, Wood Release, and the Nine-Tails’ chakra, Guren had initially received these powers. It was a risk since there was the potential for her to explode, be consumed by Dark Release chakra, or purified by Yang Release if not handled carefully.
“Both of you, be careful. I believe you’ve studied each other’s abilities. Your powers can either complement or counteract each other, so the Dark Release chakra and Yang Release chakra you’re injecting must be synchronized. If one of you contributes slightly more, Guren could be in trouble,” Bulma warned Tsunade and Ryoha, noticing that Guren was already undergoing a transformation.
“Don’t worry. Our Dark and Holy Release, our births, have established a strange connection between us. There won’t be any errors,” Tsunade reassured Bulma. This was the aspect that Ryoha and Tsunade were most confident about, ensuring that there would be no mistakes, especially in the riskiest part. The real test was whether Guren could bear this power.
Of course, if Guren was fortunate and managed to successfully integrate both the Dark Release chakra from Ryoha and the Holy Release chakra from Tsunade, her potential would be significantly enhanced. Everything depended on Guren’ fate and whether she could endure this infusion of power.
A week later, while the five major nations, the Akatsuki, Orochimaru, and others were still preparing for the final battle, within the royal palace of the Land of Snow, a large training ground housed two women emitting entirely different energies. They were engaged in a battle.
“It’s hard to believe that Guren has improved so much in just a week,” Anko observed as she watched Guren, who had been pushed down alongside her during their trials, continuing to fend off attacks from Haku. Guren had been fighting for a week, and she was astonishingly holding her ground against Haku, who had been holding back. Though she was showing signs of fatigue and could collapse at any moment, her significant improvement amazed Anko and others. Haku had refrained from using lethal techniques and had not exerted her full power, but her strength already exceeded the Yuki clan’s ancestors.
