Dragon Ball: I Will Become an Angel as a Saiyan - Chapter 90
“Finally, we’ve handled everything here. Where should we go next?” Ren asked Merus.
“We’ve been out for quite some time, let’s head back to the Galactic Patrol headquarters,” Merus suggested.
“Won’t you take me to see Whis?” Ren proposed.
“Whis said he can’t help with your angelic power purity issue,” Merus shook his head gently. “I told you this before.”
“Then forget it, I’ll figure it out myself,” Ren shrugged, sighing helplessly.
“I think your method of purifying angelic power is quite effective,” Merus reassured with a smile.
“Alright, if you say so,” Ren nodded without objection.
“Let’s go,” Merus said, turning to leave.
In a while, when we board the spaceship, I’ll find a way to create a wormhole secretly.
Then I’ll guide the spaceship into the wormhole.
That way, our spaceship will be taken to the edge of the universe.
Then I’ll send you to Universe 10’s God of Destruction’s realm for Sister Kusu to guide you.
That will complete my mission successfully.
Ren and Broly followed him.
The three of them left the Otherworld, retracing their steps back to the divine realm, and returned to the spaceship.
“Smack!”
Merus pressed the start button on the spaceship.
The spaceship took off, swiftly soaring through the divine realm.
As they traveled, Merus took out his staff, and the crystal ball at the top flashed.
“Whoosh!”
The spaceship transitioned from the divine realm to outer space.
Instantly, the vast starry sky unfolded before Ren’s eyes.
They flew for a few more hours.
Merus found an excuse and quietly returned to his room.
“Smack!”
Merus raised his right hand, and the staff appeared.
Then, Merus gently waved the staff.
“Whoosh!”
A large wormhole appeared in the vast space.
The wormhole resembled a cosmic whirlpool, devouring everything around it, distorting space and time, and making the surroundings blurry.
Around the wormhole, interstellar dust and photons were continuously sucked in, then expelled on the other side of the universe.
Inside the spaceship, Ren seemed to sense the change outside. He abruptly opened his eyes and glanced towards the wormhole.
What’s happening?
Where are we?
“Uh…” Broly’s eyes widened in disbelief.
“Whoosh!”
Like a small boat in a vast ocean, the spaceship swayed as it headed towards the wormhole.
“Whoosh!”
The spaceship entered the wormhole instantly, disappearing from its original location.
In the room.
Merus used his staff to contact someone.
“Oh my, isn’t this my little brother Merus?” a gentle female voice came from the crystal ball.
“Hello, Sister Kusu,” Merus greeted immediately.
“I heard you’re training with the Galactic Patrol in Universe 7. What made you think to contact me?” Kusu asked with a smile.
“Here’s the situation… Sister Kusu,” Merus explained, “In Universe 7, there’s a human who cultivated a simplified version of Ultra Instinct and unexpectedly developed angelic power.”
“Oh my, that’s truly remarkable,” Kusu was quite surprised. “I’ve never heard of a human developing angelic power. Even with Ultra Instinct, they can only achieve great strength… Wait, did you say he cultivated a simplified version of Ultra Instinct?”
“Yes… Yes,” Merus nodded, wiping his sweat. “He traded a sausage with Whis for a book.”
“And from this simplified book, he developed angelic power?” Kusu understood.
“Yes, Sister Kusu,” Merus nodded again.
Kusu fell silent.
Living for billions of years, Kusu had never heard anything so outrageous.
About 10 seconds later.
“You contacted me to bring this person to Universe 10?” Kusu asked.
“I reported this to the Grand Priest, and he suggested that Sister Kusu should train him to become a real angel,” Merus explained.
“Even the Grand Priest knows?” Kusu was slightly surprised but then understood, “Yes, such an important matter should be reported to the Grand Priest.”
“Exactly…” Merus nodded repeatedly.
“Alright, leave it to me. I’ll make sure he becomes an excellent angel,” Kusu agreed readily, asking, “How long will it take you to get here?”
“I just created a wormhole. We’ll reach the edge of the universe soon…” Merus replied.
“So… at your speed, it’ll take at least three days to get here, right?” Kusu understood.
But soon, Kusu noticed something odd in the background behind Merus.
“Wait, are you traveling by spaceship?” Kusu asked.
“Yes, Sister Kusu, we’re traveling by spaceship,” Merus nodded. “At our spaceship’s speed, it’ll take at least a month to get there.”
“Should I ask the Supreme Kai to help pick you up?” Kusu suggested.
“No need to trouble the Supreme Kai,” Merus smiled. “The Grand Priest said that Ren should experience the difficulty of training, which will motivate him to work harder in the future and prepare him to become a true angel. After all, he’s a human with less than 100 years of lifespan.”
“Then I’ll wait patiently for your arrival,” Kusu nodded lightly.
The call ended.
Merus took a deep breath and walked to the cabin door.
Outside, Ren felt the spaceship entering a strange space.
Lights flickered in the space.
The spaceship moved smoothly through this area.
It felt to Ren like entering a time-space tunnel.
Just like in the scenes from his previous life watching Doraemon, when the robotic cat traveled through time.
Now the spaceship was moving rapidly in such an area.
Broly stood by the window, looking bewildered, not knowing where they were.
Ren checked the spaceship’s interior and noticed Merus wasn’t in the control room.
At that moment, Merus’s room door opened.
Merus walked out, initially stunned, and then his face changed.
“Damn! Where have we entered?” Merus rushed to the control room and randomly pressed several buttons.
