- Chapter 92 - Encounter with God of Destruction Mosco
“Alright, I’ll contact my sister in Universe 10 first to explain the situation, then I’ll inform my sister in Universe 6,” Merus said, heading to his room for the call.
Ren: “…”
It’s just a video call, why do you have to go to your room?
Do you have something to hide?
In the room, Merus enveloped the room with a layer of angelic power to prevent Ren from eavesdropping.
Merus believed that although Ren could also use angelic power, he couldn’t break through his defenses.
After all, my angelic power is purer than his.
I’m a legitimate angel.
He’s just a human.
After setting everything up, Merus contacted Kusu through his staff’s crystal ball.
“Merus, did something happen?” Kusu asked.
“Sister Kusu, I’m sorry, but Ren said… his lucky number is 6, and he wants to go to Universe 6,” Merus said, wiping his sweat.
Kusu: “…”
Kusu’s beautiful eyelashes fluttered rapidly.
After a brief silence.
“Did you tell him my name?” Kusu suddenly asked.
“I don’t think so,” Merus thought momentarily and shook his head earnestly.
“Then he probably doesn’t know the universe numbers,” Kusu smiled.
Merus looked puzzled, not understanding what Kusu was planning.
“Bring him here and tell him this is Universe 6,” Kusu said with a giggle.
Merus was speechless.
“He won’t figure it out?” Merus asked, sweating.
“I’ll notify Rumsshi in advance to keep it a secret. By the time he realizes, a lot of time will have passed,” Kusu laughed.
“Alright…” Merus reluctantly agreed.
“I’m interested in someone who gives up Universe 10 because of a number… Oh, I’m speechless,” Kusu sighed, her eyes twinkling with mischief.
“Alright, I know what to do, Sister Kusu,” Merus nodded in agreement.
Ending the call, Merus took a deep breath, stepped out, and opened the door.
Merus walked out calmly.
“How did it go? Did you talk to your sister in Universe 10?” Ren asked, watching Merus closely.
“Yes, I did,” Merus nodded.
“Was she angry?” Ren asked.
“No… Angels don’t get angry easily,” Merus said with a smile.
“That’s good…” Ren responded, then asked, “And what about contacting your sister in Universe 6?”
“I did, and she said it’s no problem. I’ll take you to Universe 6 next,” Merus replied.
“Great,” Ren said, looking excited.
Finally, I’ll get to see Vados.
“How long will it take to get to the God of Destruction’s realm in Universe 6?” Ren asked, feeling a bit anxious.
At this moment, Ren suddenly felt his young age more acutely.
Only 5 years old.
At 5, it feels like I can’t do anything.
Ren wished he could grow up faster.
But according to Saiyan biology, I’ll stay looking like a 5-year-old for over a decade.
Saiyans maintain their childlike appearance for a long time to better disguise themselves.
Besides growing slightly taller, other changes are minimal.
Only around 18-20 years old do Saiyans suddenly mature, maintaining their adult form until about 60-70 years old.
But it doesn’t matter.
5 years old is fine for now.
Someday I will grow up.
“It will take at least a month to reach the God of Destruction’s realm in Universe 6,” Merus replied honestly.
“A month…” Ren shook his head, feeling the time would pass too slowly.
He then glanced at the large robot standing nearby.
This large robot’s AI system is malfunctioning, so it no longer has autonomous capabilities.
But controlling it directly presents no issues.
Ren didn’t need the robot to have its own intelligence.
“I need to find a way to upgrade this robot soon,” Ren muttered as he looked at the large robot.
“Yes, keeping this robot around is indeed a problem,” Merus agreed seriously.
“Are there any top scientists in Universe 6 who can upgrade robots?” Ren asked.
“I’m not very familiar with Universe 6, but there should be,” Merus replied.
“Otherwise, take me back to Earth first, so I can have a scientist there upgrade it,” Ren suggested.
Merus didn’t know what to say.
I used a lot of my angelic power to create a wormhole, quickly transporting us to the edge of the universe.
Now you want to go back to the Northern Galaxy?
Are you sure I’m not exhausted enough?
“Is that not possible?” Ren asked, looking at Merus.
“We came through a wormhole to reach the edge of the universe. If we travel normally, it would take several months to get back,” Merus shook his head slowly.
Ren: “…”
I didn’t realize we traveled so far.
“Then forget it. We’ll go to Universe 6 and find a way to upgrade the robot there,” Ren said, feeling slightly helpless, but then he brightened up, looking at Merus with interest.
Merus felt a bit uncomfortable under Ren’s gaze.
Don’t look at me like that.
Your eyes make me feel like a woman.
I’m a man!
“Merus, use your angelic power to upgrade the robot,” Ren suggested.
Merus finally understood Ren’s intentions.
After a brief silence.
“I’m afraid that won’t work. Our angelic power can change appearances, but upgrading a robot is a complex task, better left to scientists,” Merus shook his head. “Besides, you also have angelic power. You should know it’s not easy to upgrade a robot.”
“Your angelic power is purer. I thought you could do it,” Ren sighed.
Merus didn’t want to speak anymore.
No matter what you say, it makes me feel inadequate.
Merus decided to change the topic and quickly maneuvered the spaceship into the Void Realm.
The Void Realm is a chaotic space, larger than the universe itself.
“Here is the Void Realm, said to be even bigger than the universe,” Merus explained briefly. “Crossing the Void Realm can take us to other universes.”
Just as Merus finished speaking, Broly pointed out the window.
“Robot,” Broly said.
Ren and Merus looked in the direction Broly was pointing.
Merus’ face turned grim immediately.
Ren’s expression also changed slightly.
Broly scratched his head, looking at the robot outside and the one inside the spaceship.
“It’s… it’s Lord Mosco!” Merus said in a low voice, his face pale.
“He must be here looking for his son in Universe 7,” Ren guessed, frowning slightly.
“He’s here! Quickly, let’s hide our robot,” Merus said urgently. “If he finds it, it will be hard to explain.”
Ren understood the gravity of the situation and immediately used his angelic power to conceal the large robot.
Merus still wasn’t assured and quickly joined in.
Merus knew Ren’s angelic power wasn’t as pure.
The visitor was the God of Destruction Mosco from Universe 3.
He is a true God of Destruction with considerable power.
Although he is the weakest among the Gods of Destruction, he is still a formidable force beyond human reach.
If he finds this robot… things will get complicated.
Ren and Merus together used their angelic power to cloak the robot.
“Bang!”
Suddenly, the spaceship stopped abruptly.
Caught off guard, Broly was thrown forward, crashing into a seat.
Ren and Merus, using their stellar angelic power, stabilized themselves.
They looked ahead.
Through the windshield, they saw a giant robot.
The robot was green, much like the one inside the spaceship but significantly larger.
It was like the one inside the spaceship was a miniature version.
Ren knew this robot was Mosco, the God of Destruction from Universe 3.
Mosco’s mechanical eyes were wide, scanning the inside of the spaceship.
At that moment, Ren and Merus had just finished cloaking the robot.
Mosco couldn’t see it.
“Jigu Jigu!”
The robot’s voice echoed.
“What did he say?” Ren asked Merus.
“He said to open the door,” Merus replied.
“How did you understand that?” Ren asked in surprise.
“I didn’t… I just inferred it from his gaze,” Merus replied truthfully.
Ren: “…”
“Broly, open the door,” Ren instructed.
“Uh…” Broly got up, rubbed his head, and nodded, then made a tearing motion towards Ren.
Merus: “…”
Don’t tear anything apart.
He’s a God of Destruction, and even I might not be able to handle him.
“He’s right. Don’t cause any trouble this time,” Ren warned.
Broly looked disappointed.
I thought I could tear him apart.
Broly obediently opened the spaceship’s door.
As soon as the door opened, a large mechanical hand grabbed Broly’s head.
Mosco’s mechanical hand held Broly’s head like a baseball.
“Whoosh!”
Mosco swung his hand, throwing Broly into the Void Realm.
Then Mosco swaggered into the spaceship.
“Jigu Jigu! Jigu!” Mosco made strange noises, pointing to himself and looking at Ren and Merus.
“Sorry, we haven’t seen it,” Merus replied politely.
Ren remained silent, watching Broly tumble through the Void Realm, noting he seemed unhurt.
“Jigu?” Mosco looked at Merus suspiciously and took a step forward.
Ren glanced to Mosco’s right.
He’s less than a meter away from the cloaked robot.
If he moves a bit more, he might touch it.
Ren and Merus both tensed.
If he discovers this robot, we’re in big trouble.
“Jigu Jigu! Jigu?” Mosco’s headlight flickered, and he made strange sounds again.
Ren looked at Merus.
Can you understand this?
“I can’t,” Merus replied.
Ren: “…”
I thought you could.
“Bang!”
At that moment, a small door on Mosco’s abdomen opened.
A red demon with two horns on its head flew out.
“Have you seen anyone who looks like me?” the red demon asked.
This was Mules, Mosco’s pilot and the father of Mus.
Ren and Merus both shook their heads.
“Who are you? This spaceship is impressive to navigate the Void Realm,” Mules said, smiling.
Mules was now even closer to the hidden robot, only a few centimeters away.
“We’re Galactic Patrol, maintaining peace in the galaxy and the universe,” Merus replied without pride or arrogance.
“Hmph, isn’t that the Kai’s job?” Mules chuckled. “There really are people who enjoy maintaining peace.”
Merus didn’t respond.
“Where are you headed?” Mules asked Merus.
“Just exploring,” Merus replied.
“Exploring and ended up in the Void Realm? Who are you kidding?” Mules laughed, eyeing Merus and then Ren.
But soon, Mules focused back on Merus.
Merus felt uncomfortable under Mules’ gaze.
What do you want?
Do I have to reveal my true identity?
“Who are you really?” Mules asked Merus.
“I’m a Galactic Patrolman,” Merus replied, pointing to Ren. “And he’s my friend Lo—”
“I’m not interested in him,” Mules interrupted.
Merus: “…”
“Not telling the truth? Are you really just a patrolman?” Mules scrutinized Merus.
Merus covered his forehead, feeling helpless.
Do I have to reveal my identity?
I really don’t want to.
But now, Merus knew if he didn’t reveal his identity, Mules might get violent.
Even I might not be able to handle him.
After all, I’m just an apprentice angel.
“Alright, I’ll tell the truth,” Merus said, preparing to reveal his true form.
It can’t go on like this.
If he moves even a bit, he might touch the hidden robot.
However, just as Merus was about to reveal his true form—
“Boom!”
In the Void Realm, Broly suddenly unleashed a massive burst of energy.
A vast aura erupted from Broly.
Layer upon layer of energy waves surged like a tsunami.
“Bang!”
Broly’s body glowed with a dark green light, his hair standing on end and turning dark green.
The Legendary Super Saiyan transformation!
Broly had activated his Legendary Super Saiyan mode.
Ren glanced at Broly, noting his eyes were still clear.
It seems the angelic power Merus provided hasn’t worn off, keeping him rational.
“Whoosh!”
Broly turned into a dark green beam, speeding towards the spaceship.
“Don’t destroy the spaceship!” Ren shouted.
“What are you talking about?” Mules was confused.
But before Mules could finish speaking, Broly arrived and grabbed his head.
“Bang!”
Broly, exercising restraint, grabbed Mules’ head and spun around.
“Whoosh!”
Broly threw Mules out of the spaceship.
Ren kicked Mosco, sending him flying out of the spaceship.
Merus covered his face, speechless.
This scene feels familiar.
But last time, it was Mules’ son, Mus, who had mediocre strength and was easily torn apart by Broly.
But now, we’re facing someone incredibly powerful.
Even without Mosco, he’s almost as strong as a God of Destruction.
“Let’s leave the spaceship,” Ren said to Merus.
Merus agreed.
We need to protect the spaceship.
Even without it, we can fly, but it will take forever to leave the Void Realm.
I’ll have to carry them.
I still don’t want to reveal my true identity.
The Grand Priest told me not to reveal myself unless absolutely necessary.
Ren and Merus left the spaceship. Ren used his power to push the spaceship forward, increasing the distance.
Then Ren checked on Mosco.
Mosco’s abdominal door was closed.
But that’s no problem.
The small robot could open its mechanical door with angelic power.
Maybe the large one can too.
Ren used his angelic power on Mosco.
“Bang!”
To Ren’s surprise, the angelic power covering Mosco vanished instantly.
It seemed to be absorbed by some strange energy.
“What’s happening?” Ren asked Merus, surprised.
“Lord Mosco possesses extremely powerful energy… Your angelic power is ineffective,” Merus shook his head.
“How can humans create such powerful robots?” Ren was puzzled.
“Human wisdom is boundless; it’s not surprising,” Merus replied nonchalantly.
Ren thought about it and agreed.
Humans creating robots with God of Destruction level power is plausible.
Take Android 16, for example, though not as strong as Mosco, it was created by humans.
And 16 is a true robot, not a human modified one.
Universe 3’s technology far surpasses Universe 7’s.
Especially in mechs, they are far ahead of other universes.
“You try,” Ren suggested.
Merus: “…”
You’ve already taken his son’s robot; now you want to take the God of Destruction Mosco?
“Aren’t you aiming to become an angel?” Merus asked.
“I want to become an angel, but that doesn’t mean I don’t want to be strong. I don’t want to be bullied,” Ren said firmly.
Merus was speechless.
“Give it a try. It doesn’t cost anything,” Ren urged.
“Alright, I’ll try,” Merus said helplessly, stepping forward and covering Mosco with his angelic power.
“Bang!”
Mosco’s invisible energy quickly shattered Merus’ angelic power.
“It’s no use… Creating that wormhole consumed much of my angelic power,” Merus shook his head.
“Looks like it’s not going to happen,” Ren said disappointedly, glancing into the distance.
In the distance, Broly, holding Mules’ head, was searching for something to crash into.
But in the Void Realm, there are no planets or meteors.
Broly searched for a long time without finding a suitable target.
