The Great Ape opened its massive jaws, gathering a blue-white energy orb. Simultaneously, the man spread his hands, thumbs and index fingers touching, forming a Kamehameha stance. A golden energy ball formed between his hands.

“Burning Attack (Roar…)!” The man and the Great Ape fired their energy blasts at Pica simultaneously.

“Wow, you really think highly of me!” Pica extended his hands in front of his chest, forming a circular barrier to block the two energy waves. The impact pushed him back.

Seeing Pica withstand his attack, the Great Ape furiously pounded its chest and leaped towards Pica, fists raised.

“Hmph, if you had coordinated with him to attack me, I might have had a hard time winning. But since you’re attacking alone, you can disappear!” Pica thought disdainfully as he saw the Great Ape charging at him.

“Roar…” The Great Ape’s fist swung towards Pica, but it passed through an afterimage. In the next moment, Pica appeared behind the Great Ape, his forearm glowing with a sharp, golden ki blade.

“Ha… What?” Just as Pica was about to sever the Great Ape’s tail, a swift energy blast shot towards him. Instinctively, Pica slashed the blast in half.

The Great Ape landed heavily, shaking the ground. Krillin and Yamcha fell to the ground. Krillin stammered to Yamcha, “Th-this guy is so strong.”

“Yeah…” Yamcha was too shocked to speak, his mouth agape as he watched Pica, the Great Ape, and the man.

“Master Yamcha, are you okay? Shouldn’t we help that man?” Puar asked nervously, paws at his mouth.

“Right, Krillin, let’s cut Goku’s tail. Puar!” Yamcha quickly got up. A giant pair of scissors appeared in his hands. “Krillin, distract Goku. I’ll cut his tail.”

“Got it.” Krillin stood up, determination in his eyes. He shouted at the Great Ape, “Hey, look over here!” He turned and dropped his pants, exposing his bare buttocks and slapping them.

The Great Ape, enraged by Krillin’s taunt, pounded its chest and charged at him.

“Hahaha, big ape, catch me if you can and I’ll let you hehehe…” Krillin taunted as he ran, dodging a ki blast from the Great Ape.

“Yikes!” Krillin leaped as another ki blast hit the ground. He somersaulted in the air, landing gracefully and bowing mockingly before running again.

The Great Ape continued to fire ki blasts, and Krillin dodged each one, sweating profusely. “Yamcha, hurry up! I can’t hold on much longer!”

A shadow darted from behind the Great Ape. Yamcha used the giant scissors to cut the Great Ape’s tail.

Snip, thud. The first sound was the scissors cutting the tail, the second was the Great Ape kicking Yamcha away as it reverted to normal.

“Ugh…” Yamcha spat blood. “We did it, Krillin. We cut the tail… cough, cough!” He coughed up more blood.

“Are you okay, Yamcha?” Krillin rushed to Yamcha’s side, concerned. Puar reverted to his original form, worriedly watching Yamcha. “Master Yamcha…”

“I’m fine, just a few broken ribs. Goku’s back to normal,” Yamcha said before fainting.

Seeing Goku’s tail cut off, Pica turned to the man and said, “It’s time to end this fight! Ha!” Pica’s aura flared, his power increasing by half.

The man retreated, his aura turning red. “Kaio-ken!” His hair stood on end, his power doubling to 12,000.

“Ha (X2)!” Both charged at each other, their fists colliding with their opponent’s face. Pica punched the man’s stomach, but the man mirrored his move, sending both flying back.

They landed, immediately launching another attack. Sometimes Pica had the upper hand, sometimes the man did. The battle was intense.

Boom!
Their elbows collided. The man kicked Pica’s chin, flipping him backward. The man fired multiple ki blasts at Pica’s back, shredding his clothes. The man then charged with a white glowing fist.

Pica blocked with his left arm, then accelerated, countering with a blue-white ki blast from his right hand, engulfing the man.

The man was sent flying, rolling to the ground. Struggling to stand, he was knocked out by Pica’s chop to the neck, the black-purple aura dissipating.

Pica wiped blood from his mouth, took out two Senzu Beans, ate one to heal himself, and gave the other to the man.

Pica flew to Yamcha and Krillin, giving Yamcha a Senzu Bean, who woke up shouting, “Ah, my beauty!”

Smack, Pica hit Yamcha on the head. “Wake up, you.”

“Who hit me? You’re dead… Oh, thank you,” Yamcha stammered, feeling a creepy vibe from Pica’s stare.

“Ah…” Yamcha pointed behind Pica. “Watch out!” He jumped at the man, who easily blocked his punch. “I’m awake now. I was controlled,” the man said calmly.

“Hello, I’m Pica. Nice to meet you!” Pica extended his hand with a smile.

“You’re the Pica Trunks mentioned? You survived?” The man was shocked, knowing the attacker had targeted a new Time Patroller named Pica.

“Yes, that’s me.”

“Thank you for freeing me. I’m Fei Li, also a…” Fei Li shook Pica’s hand.
