Dragon Ball Xenoverse - Chapter 19
##
“Stupid monkey, surrender! You can’t possibly be my opponent,” Frilca said arrogantly.
“Hmph, no way. Since I’m participating in the World Martial Arts Tournament, I intend to defeat all my opponents and win the championship,” Pica replied.
“You? Tsk tsk, don’t make me laugh, hahaha!” Frilca laughed heartily, as if he had heard the funniest joke in the world.
“In that case, let’s settle this with our fists,” Pica said calmly, unfazed by Frilca’s taunts.
Frilca extended his fingers towards Pica, and small purple lights appeared at his fingertips. In an instant, he shot beams aimed at Pica’s neck, hands, and legs.
Pica moved swiftly, easily dodging Frilca’s attack and charging towards him along the trajectory of Frilca’s beams.
“Looks like this little monkey has some skill. I can play with him a bit longer,” Frilca said nonchalantly. However, the contempt in his eyes didn’t escape Pica, and even a clay figure has three parts fire, let alone a living person like Pica.
“Bastard!” Pica’s right fist struck out like a hidden dragon from the sea, bringing with it a roaring wind towards Frilca. Frilca leaned back slightly, dodging Pica’s heavy punch.
After delivering the punch, Pica spun 360 degrees, his left hand forming a blade and chopping towards Frilca, like a fierce swordsman slicing through any obstacle.
Frilca caught Pica’s hand blade effortlessly between two fingers, saying coldly, “Stupid monkey, understand who your opponent is. Don’t get too cocky.”
Frilca then used the two fingers holding Pica to slam him onto the ground. His right hand formed a sword finger, shooting a purple light that pinned Pica’s right shoulder to the arena floor.
“Ah!!” Pica screamed in pain. Frilca stepped on Pica’s face, saying contemptuously, “Boy, do you now realize the gap between our strengths? Hmm?” He ground his foot into Pica’s face.
In the backstage area, Brian frowned at the scene, saying to Lin Feihong, “If he’s so strong, why doesn’t he just defeat this Saiyan called Pica quickly? Why humiliate him? Can he still call himself a martial artist?”
“You see yourself as a martial artist, but Frilca does not. He sees himself as a warrior, a powerful warrior.”
Pinned under Frilca’s foot, Pica’s eyes burned with anger. He said coldly, “Do you really think this is enough to defeat me?”
Pica’s body erupted in red flames. He grabbed Frilca’s tail with one hand and threw him away.
Frilca flipped in the air and floated, surprised, “I didn’t expect you could still resist.”
Pica pulled the light sword from his shoulder, glaring at Frilca without a word. He flew at high speed towards Frilca, his fists attacking rapidly.
Frilca, with his arms still crossed, dodged Pica’s attacks easily.
“Whoosh” Pica’s punch brought a gust of wind that grazed Frilca’s face. Frilca’s eyes widened, veins bulging as he glared at Pica. He punched Pica in the face, sending him crashing into the arena, kicking up a cloud of dust.
“Bastard! You dared to scratch my noble face. I won’t forgive you, you filthy monkey! Ah…” Frilca roared. His body began to grow, the horns on his head became larger, and his body expanded, tearing his combat suit and revealing his exoskeleton armor. His tail became thicker and more robust.
“You should feel honored. I’ll use this form to crush you easily. Now my combat power is 600,000. Hehehe…” Frilca’s voice changed along with his form.
“600,000… just that much? Hmph! Seven times Kaio-ken!” Pica’s red aura intensified, and his power increased several times over.
“What? His combat power has reached 700,000!” a spectator shouted, holding a computer.
“700,000? Showing off,” Frilca’s eyes briefly showed surprise, but he quickly hid it.
“Is that so? Maybe 700,000 is showing off, but it’s enough to defeat you easily.”
Somehow, Pica was already standing behind Frilca, whispering coldly in his ear.
Frilca heard Pica behind him and swung his elbow, but Pica easily blocked it with his right hand.
Pica pushed Frilca away, his aura pressing down on Frilca.
Frilca’s hands moved like a Gatling gun, shooting hundreds of half-meter-wide purple energy blasts at Pica.
Pica stood still, his hands at his sides, shaking off Frilca’s blasts. He mocked, “Is this all you’ve got? Can you defeat me with this?”
“Of course not, but what about this?” Frilca grinned slyly, clenching his right hand. The blasts that Pica had deflected floated around him and shot back towards Pica.
“Boom—”
Frilca crossed his arms and squinted at the smoke-covered Pica. He knew this wouldn’t defeat Pica but would buy him some time.
Frilca’s body changed again, becoming more monstrous with additional horns and extended limbs.
“Wow! I didn’t expect the refined-looking Frilca to turn into such a monster!” “Yeah, I didn’t expect it!” the spectators murmured, some with fear in their eyes.
“Tsk tsk tsk, you’re using this form just to buy time? Why not go straight to your final form?” Pica’s silhouette emerged from the smoke.
“Kid, do you really want to die? Fine, I’ll show you my fourth form’s power. Ah—”
A blinding light burst from Frilca’s body…
