I Punch the Tailed Beast Ball - Chapter 367
Time flew when you were having fun, much like a student’s summer vacation. Even though it lasted for two months, it felt like it was just a few days and classes have started again.
Even though 270,000 points was a lot, Nagasawa couldn’t help but feel as if he was forced to leave right when he was at a good part.
Upon looking at the long list of Sage Mode-related abilities, Nagasawa couldn’t help but reveal a satisfied smile.
It took nearly a year and more than 1.2 million points, but Nagasawa finally developed his own Sage Mode.
Nagasawa could have spent that time to learn one of the Three Sage Regions’ Sage Mode, which allowed him to save his points.
However, Nagasawa genuinely believed that it wasn’t nearly as valuable as what he has done now—developing his own Sage Mode.
He can now practice his Sage Mode independently, and due to various experiences, he would undoubtedly make a fast progress.
He would still receive weekly points, and as the Prosperity increase, he could even get more weekly points. Therefore, it was just a matter of time before he could accumulate that amount of points anyway.
But now, Nagasawa was invincible! With no one capable of challenging him except for the sealed Kaguya and the Sage of Six Paths, so he didn’t need to be so hasty.
He was pretty desperate last time because he wanted to make sure that he could safely get through Nine-Tailed Demon Fox’s Attack and eliminate any unexpected factor.
Now that it was out of the way, he could focus on longer-term issues. Moreover, the Sage Mode he created made him significantly stronger from before.
Anyone out there should be able to learn Nagasawa’s Sage Mode if they were talented enough. The best part was they didn’t even have to worry about transforming into animals if they made a mistake during the training; at most, they might just get injured, which was much safer than the Three Sage Regions’ Sage Mode.
He believed that the number of “Sage” in Konoha would increase in the future with his Sage Mode, effectively raising Konoha’s overall strength and contributing to long-term Prosperity.
Nagasawa used Flying Thunder God Technique to reach the summit of a high mountain, where he would begin the first practice of the Breathing Style Sage Mode.
The Breathing Style Sage Mode was derived from Breathing Styles, and even though not completely similar, it shared several similarities, such as the Sun Breathing Sage Mode remained the most powerful Sage Mode.
Radiant Sun Mode is the embodiment of the highest realm in Sun Breathing, demanding absurdly high physical strength, abundant Chakra, and high mastery in Sun Breathing.
Although Nagasawa was acceptable in terms of physical strength and Sun Breathing mastery, his Chakra fell short. That was why he had to enter Sage Mode and then used Sun Breathing as an intermediary for his Senjutsu Chakra to enter the Radiant Sun Mode.
Now, it’s much simpler. He could immediately enter Radiant Sun Mode by using Sun Breathing Sage Mode.
Nagasawa closed his eyes, absorbing natural energy and refining Senjutsu Chakra using the methods he obtained in the simulated space.
Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh.
Countless golden-red light points were absorbed by Nagasawa, transforming into Senjutsu Chakra. When he felt that he had absorbed enough Senjutsu Chakra to activate Sage Mode, Nagasawa instantly opened his eyes and activated Sage Mode!
Dazzling golden light radiated from Nagasawa’s body, making him look like he had adorned himself in a golden battle robe.
Nagasawa smiled as he could feel himself brimming with power now!
It might have to do with the fact that his Sage Mode was developed based on Breathing Styles, but his Radiant Sun Mode at the moment than during the Challenge Mission.
Nagasawa clenched his right hand, and golden flame instantly materialized out of thin air, transforming into a sharp sword.
When Nagasawa was about to test the strength of his Sage Mode, he paused.
This area was close to Konoha, and if Konoha expanded, this would also be Konoha’s territory.
Damaging his own territory was not Nagasawa’s style. After some thought, he rushed to Land of Fire’s border by the sea.
This planet is similar to his previous world’s planet, with ocean occupying more area than land.
It was precisely noon and Nagasawa finally stopped on top of the vast ocean.
Nagasawa casually swung the sword at the ocean below without charging up power or any fancy technique.
Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!!!
A massive golden flame compressed air blade was dished out by Nagasawa.
The temperature immediately skyrocketed as a vast amount of water in the ocean evaporated instantly when the golden flame touched it. The evaporated water created a thick mist that spread even to the land.
Boom, boom, boom!!
A loud explosion echoed as a lot of water was engulfed by the golden flame. For a moment, a huge arc-shaped hole appeared on the surface where Nagasawa struck, but it quickly disappeared.
“This much damage just from a casual strike can cause this. My strength has indeed increased compared to when I did the Challenge Mission.” Nagasawa remarked as he looked at the destruction caused by a simple swing.
He certainly got a lot stronger, but at the same time, Nagasawa felt like Konoha was more in danger compared to before.
With his current strength, Konoha might get caught up even though he was fighting in other countries.
“I need the Barrier Division to come up with a better barrier.”
Nagasawa felt that Konoha’s barrier seemed impressive on the surface but practically useless.
The barrier wouldn’t be able to stop anyone strong enough to reach Konoha’s gate in the first place.
Nagasawa’s ideal barrier is something like the protective arrays in cultivation novels, which was actually capable of protecting everyone inside it when someone attacked.
A good example would be the Four Crimson Ray Formation, ensuring almost complete safety as long as it wasn’t a Paths-level attack.
But Nagasawa knew he was daydreaming. Although there were powerful individuals in Konoha capable of setting up a Four Crimson Ray Formation, having them completely occupied in maintaining the barrier wasn’t efficient. Besides, even if there was someone out there who wouldn’t mind doing it, their body couldn’t withstand it.
“Academy needs a revolution.” Nagasawa traced the roots of the problem, and believed that it was Academy.
Academy was established by the Second Hokage, and except for the later addition of Medical Students proposed by Nagasawa and Tsunade, it had mostly maintained its appearance from the Second Hokage’s era.
The times have changed, and with Nagasawa around, the fate of Konoha completely changed from the manga, embarking on a fast track of development, and the Academy founded by the Second Hokage seemed somewhat outdated at this day and age.
