I Will Become Hokage in One Piece - Chapter 216
Chapter 216: Iron Blocks Can Be Deadly
“Oh, isn’t this Vice Admiral Dalmatian from the Marines?”
Rodney chuckled, “It seems the injuries you sustained in Marineford weren’t that severe, or you wouldn’t have come here to stop me.”
Dalmatian snorted coldly, “Rodney, I will apprehend you for the sake of justice, even if it costs me my life.”
“Ah, what an admirable sense of justice,” Rodney clapped, making Dalmatian feel mocked. He rushed forward, his fingers as sharp as blades, aiming for Rodney’s chest.
Finger Pistol!
“Just a Finger Pistol! I can do that too! Flying Finger Pistol!”
After all, he had learned the Six Styles himself. How could he not know Finger Pistol? Moreover, he had combined it with chakra, creating a Chakra Finger Pistol, similar to bullets!
A sharp, piercing pain shot through Dalmatian’s shoulder. He glanced over, and there was already blood spilling from the wound.
“Flying Finger Pistol?”
Dalmatian’s face turned as cold as ice. This was an advanced use of Finger Pistol. Learning the Marine Six Styles wasn’t as simple as mastering it after the basics. It was an ongoing study, and some aspects might never be fully understood. The human body was like a treasure trove, and how much could be unlocked depended on the abilities of the one unlocking it.
“Take this! My punch!” Rodney grinned and threw a punch at Dalmatian.
Dalmatian immediately assumed a defensive posture and declared, “Six Styles: Iron Blocks!”
Rodney’s fist struck him, and for a second, both remained in that position. Then, Dalmatian’s eyes rolled back, and he fell to the ground.
“You really, in this era of Conquerors, used Iron Blocks?!”
Iron Blocks = Taking all the damage = Instant death!
Rodney hadn’t used Iron Blocks in a long time because Iron Blocks caused harm.
Looking at the fallen Dalmatian, Rodney shook his head. Meanwhile, at another part of the battlefield, Gamahiro, summoned by Jiraiya, had destroyed several Marine ships. However, another Vice Admiral stepped forward to confront him, a man with orange hair tied in a high ponytail.
This guy… seemed to be a fan of Iron Blocks too!
Rodney rushed over to him and said, “Take this! My punch!”
“Iron Blocks!”
Bang!
Down he went.
“He went down just like that?” Jiraiya had wanted to spar with the people of this world for a bit longer, but this was too easy.
“He used Iron Blocks. Even though he’s a Vice Admiral with considerable strength and martial arts skills, he used Iron Blocks,” Rodney explained. It was a direct exchange: taking all the damage. Rodney’s punch wasn’t something easy to withstand.
“Let’s go.”
Looking at the wreckage of the Marine ships scattered on the sea’s surface, Rodney didn’t do anything else. The two remaining Vice Admirals would be busy enough, rescuing the Marines floating on the sea amid the raging fire wasn’t simple.
He and Jiraiya returned to their ship.
“Robin, confirm Aveliton’s location. We’re heading home.”
“Alright, set the course in that direction.” Robin used her Eternal Pose to indicate the way. Rodney steered the ship, easily crossing the sea of flames. The voices of the Marines behind them didn’t matter anymore, whether they were angry shouts, screams, or wails.
“Speaking of which, this world is quite peculiar. Is it all just oceans?”
“There is land, but the way it forms is also peculiar.” The Red Line and the Grand Line formed two concentric rings that divided the world into four seas. Reverse Mountain and Mary Geoise were the points where they intersected and were crucial checkpoints. Depending on the route chosen, the experiences and adversaries encountered would differ, but all pirates sailing the Grand Line were essentially aiming for one goal: reaching Raftel to become the next Pirate King.
“It’s a fascinating world,” Jiraiya exclaimed, finding this world incredibly intriguing. In this world, he was starting a new life!
Aside from the initial Marine blockade, there were no major incidents during their voyage. The most significant challenge at sea was the weather: the terrifying, ever-changing weather of the New World. One moment it was clear skies, the next it was a blizzard, and shortly after, scorching heat. And the rain… Each drop was like a soccer ball.
Every drop of rain was as big as a soccer ball. The incredible nature of this weather astounded him, but he saw that none of the crew members on the ship were surprised. They had grown used to it.
“Get used to it. This is the New World, where the weather changes unpredictably. Without a resilient ship, it’s easy to die under these conditions. In the vast ocean, nature is the most formidable enemy.”
In the past, when Gol D. Roger’s fleet fought against Kaido, a sudden typhoon had destroyed his fleet, and Roger’s head had been turned into a figurehead. No crime, but fate!
After a few days of travel, they returned to Aveliton. The ship docked in the harbor, and the crew disembarked.
“Ah, finally, we’re back.” Rodney greeted the people around him. It had been one or two months since they had left. They weren’t sure about Aveliton’s current situation since they had lost their Den Den Mushi in the battle.
Business was still ongoing, but they heard that an unexpected guest had arrived on the island.
That guest was none other than Sanji!
Looking at the blond man with bandages all over his body, Rodney couldn’t help but complain, “Why are you on my turf? Weren’t you supposed to be in Ivankov’s Okama Kingdom?”
“Why would I go to the Okama Kingdom?! I’m perfectly fine here!” Sanji retorted. “By the way, you went to Marineford. How’s Luffy?”
“Him? He’s doing great. He’s on the island of women now, and, oh, by the way, he’s the only man there.”
“What?!!” x3
The three perverts exclaimed in shock.
“He’s the only man there?”
“An island full of women?”
“Where the world’s most beautiful woman resides?”
The three lechers stared at Rodney with intense anticipation. Sanji struggled and muttered, “I wanted to go there right away! That place is heaven! Heaven, I tell you!” Tears of regret welled up in his eyes as his fists clenched the edge of the bed.
Brook was in a state of shock, “That’s the island with the world’s most beautiful woman. I’d really like to see it.”
Jiraiya sat beside him, “Such a great place, and Rodney never told me about it.”
The three great perverts fell into a collective depression, as if Perona had used her Negative Hollow on them.
Rodney: “…”
At this moment, Reiju, sitting beside Sanji, smiled and asked her little brother, “Are you not satisfied with your sister’s care?”
“Ah, compared to my sister, I’d prefer the care of a beautiful lady like Miss Isabella or Miss Perona.” Sanji was unyielding.
Rodney handed him a newspaper and said, “This is yesterday’s newspaper. Luffy has conveyed a message in it. He says to meet him on Sabaody Island in two years.”
Although they didn’t understand why Kuma had sent Sanji to their ship, Luffy had published a message in the newspaper, communicating that they should meet again in two years.
Sanji carefully read the newspaper and muttered, “Two years from now? I understand!”
