“Jerome Lin?”
Watching the image of the young man released by Nick Fury, the agents of S.H.I.E.L.D couldn’t help but blurt out Lin Wusheng’s name.
Lin Wusheng’s name, like Tony Stark’s, had long been recorded in S.H.I.E.L.D.’s files.
“Yes, that’s Jerome Lin!”
Nick Fury nodded, pressing a button on his remote, and the image changed again.
“Every time Bugman disappears, it’s near the Jerome Building, and with the talent of Saint Jerome Lin, it’s entirely possible for him to develop this advanced armor!”
“Are you suggesting we investigate Saint Jerome Lin?”
Coulson looked at Nick Fury and said, “Jerome has many backers behind him. I heard he has close ties to President Obama, as well as the Bushes and the Clintons. Plus, with the formidable power of Jerome Intelligence, investigating Mr. Jerome won’t be easy!”
“Of course, we can’t investigate directly!”
Nick Fury looked at Coulson and said, “We need a smarter approach! Like infiltrating the Jerome Group and finding a way to blend in with the top ranks!”
“Oh? I have a candidate in mind!”
Coulson raised his eyebrows and looked at Natasha, the redhead with stunning looks.
Natasha, known as Black Widow, exuded a unique charm that most men in the world couldn’t resist.
“No! Not Natasha!”
But Nick Fury looked to the corner, where a younger agent stood.
“Level five agent Maria Hill!”
With Nick Fury’s call, the last female agent with short hair immediately stiffened.
“Here!”
Agent Hill looked reflexively at Nick Fury.
“Hill, I’ve decided to send you to get close to Jerome Lin!”
“Me?”
Agent Hill’s eyes were filled with disbelief. She couldn’t believe she was being assigned such a mission.
She couldn’t understand why she was being sent when Natasha, with her better looks and figure, was available.
“Yes, you! Jerome Lin seems to prefer someone like you!”
Nick Fury nodded, solemnly saying, “Compared to Natasha, you’re more likely to get Lin’s attention! So, get close to him, become his trusted aide, and uncover his secrets! That’s your mission!”
“Alright! I’ll do it!”
Agent Hill nodded, taking a deep breath and preparing herself.
“This will be your home from now on!”
Inside the Jerome Intelligence Building.
A small truck slowly entered the underground parking lot.
Russell and the humanoid got off the truck, marveling at everything before them.
“This is the underground third floor of the Jerome Building, a biological research lab!”
Lin Wusheng introduced to the two seemingly pitiful wandering monsters.
“There’s a living area here that can meet all your needs… Well, except for female werewolves and humanoid females.”
“I don’t need that!”
Russell protested angrily.
“Indeed! I’ve heard you werewolves like to suck the blood of vampires.”
Lin Wusheng rubbed his chin, saying, “There are female vampires in New York. I can catch a few for you!”
“And we don’t need female vampires either!”
Russell protested, and the humanoid nodded vigorously.
“Alright! Suit yourselves!”
Lin Wusheng then led the two into the laboratory before them.
It was a spacious underground space, but unlike typical labs, it felt warm instead of cold.
“My god! It’s really a monster!”
“He looks so cute! I want to cut off his head and study it!”
“Are you a werewolf? Can you change your form?”
Entering the laboratory, Russell and the humanoid received a warm welcome from all the lab personnel.
Feeling the eyes that seemed to want to devour them, Russell and the humanoid couldn’t help but huddle together.
Lin Wusheng’s mouth couldn’t contain his smile as he said, “Rest assured! The researchers here are my loyal subordinates and have signed confidentiality agreements! They won’t disclose your identities! Of course, I also ask that you don’t harm them! Otherwise, I’ll show you what cruelty means!”
Lin Wusheng lightly patted Russell’s shoulder and then pinched the humanoid’s chin full of tendrils.
The humanoid shuddered, feeling no sense of security from his massive body.
“Don’t worry! Both Ted and I are good monsters!”
Russell immediately reassured.
“Then I can rest easy!”
Lin Wusheng smiled, but Russell and the humanoid felt a chill.
“Alright! I’ll leave you to chat with the researchers. You’re colleagues now! You’ll be working together in the future!”
Lin Wusheng handed the two over to the lab staff.
He wasn’t afraid of them causing trouble. The Jerome Building had Asgardian warriors on every floor who could immediately subdue them.
Lin Wusheng returned to his office.
He didn’t rush to rest but instead opened the community forum.
Transforming into Masked Rider 01, he took a selfie.
Then he posted it on the forum.
“Hello, everyone! I’m the guy you call Bugman!
I’m honored to have your favor!
I’ll protect New York and all of you well in the future.
But my name is not Bugman. It’s Masked Rider 01!
Please call me by this name in the future. Thank you!”
Lin Wusheng wanted to give himself a proper name. He couldn’t stand the absurdity of Bugman.

“Andrew, I’m sorry! You’re fired!”
Standing at the entrance of Stark Industries in Manhattan, a bald, elegant man coldly gazed at the middle-aged man before him, his voice devoid of emotion.
“No! Mr. Stanney, I can’t lose this job!”
Hearing the words of the bald man, the expression on the middle-aged man’s face was full of panic.
“I need this job! I have a mortgage and a car loan! My little daughter just started elementary school! You know, my wife recently lost her job too! I need the salary from this job!”
“But you’re not performing well! The new weapons you helped develop are utterly useless! I can’t keep you any longer!”
Obadiah Stane, the second largest shareholder of Stark Industries, looked coldly at the middle-aged man, his eyes devoid of any pity, only coldness as he said, “You’re of no use to Stark Industries anymore!”
“No! I want to see Mr. Tony Stark! It was him who asked me to develop these weapons in the first place. He said it was just an experiment, and it didn’t matter if it failed!”
Andrew argued.
“That’s what Tony meant! Don’t you understand yet, Andrew?”
Obadiah sneered disdainfully.
“I’m just conveying Tony’s meaning!”
