Kamen Rider Marvel - Chapter 277
Everything happened quickly, and Tony found almost nothing of substance in the video.
Time ticked away.
Happy drove down the road.
In the back seat sat Pepper Potts.
As they approached the destination, the towering flames were visible from afar.
Seeing this, Pepper’s brow furrowed tightly, and she couldn’t help but feel anxious.
Soon, Happy parked the car.
As Pepper stepped out, an officer approached.
“Miss Potts, you finally arrived.”
Pepper nodded, acknowledging him.
She asked urgently, “Officer, have you discovered anything?”
“We found many high-temperature burning substances at the scene. We’re not sure what caused it yet, but it looks like someone targeted Stark Industries specifically.”
“So, this was a terrorist attack?”
“That’s one way to put it,” the officer said.
“And… is anyone alive?” Pepper asked, her voice tense.
The officer lowered his gaze slightly.
“I’m sorry, we did our best. The building collapse killed everyone we rescued.”
The officer continued, “We’re still working with the firefighters to find others, but the chances of survival are low.”
Hearing this, Pepper’s face turned pale.
“I see. Thank you, officer.”
“Miss Potts, there’s one more thing you should be aware of.”
Pepper nodded, signaling she understood.
As the officer left, a man approached her slowly.
He sighed, “This is truly tragic.”
“There are many families here; it might be best to stay away to avoid any potential outbursts.”
Pepper looked at him curiously but said nothing.
The man introduced himself.
“Hello, Miss Pepper Potts. It’s a pleasure to meet you.”
Pepper asked, puzzled.
“Do we know each other?”
“No, but I know you. As Iron Man’s assistant, who wouldn’t?”
“What do you want?” Pepper asked directly, wary of his intentions.
“I’m Dr. Aldrich Killian. I happened to be driving by and saw this tragedy.”
Killian continued, “Imagine if those injured could be healed.”
His words had a hidden meaning, and Pepper noticed.
“Dr. Killian, what are you getting at?”
Killian glanced around before speaking again, “Could we talk privately for a moment?”
“This… alright.”
Pepper and Killian walked aside.
Happy, sitting in the car, watched them suspiciously.
Pepper said, “Alright, what is it?”
“Miss Potts, I’ve developed a new technology.”
Killian said excitedly, “Even if someone loses a limb, as long as they’re alive, they can recover.”
“And I need investment. If you convince Tony Stark, we can prevent many such tragedies.”
Pepper’s lips twitched, and she let out a cold laugh.
“Dr. Killian, please don’t joke about this. If you have nothing else, I’ll be leaving.”

Pepper’s words made it clear she didn’t believe him.
She turned to leave.
Killian frowned.
“Miss Potts, you have to believe me!”
“My technology is revolutionary; it will bring extraordinary evolution to humanity.”
He raised his hand, trying to stop her.
Liquid Armor!
But!
Pepper ignored his plea.
She walked away in her high heels.
This move made Killian feel insulted!
His expression turned grim, and he angrily waved his finger.
“Pepper Potts, you’ll regret this.”
“My technology will lead humanity.”
He roared, his eyes seemingly burning with fury.
But Pepper didn’t notice.
She opened the car door and got in.
“Happy, let’s go back.”
“I need to report to Tony about this.”
Pepper said, her brow still furrowed.
Not only did she find no clues about the explosion, but she also encountered a lunatic!
“Sure!”
Happy didn’t think much of it.
As Stark Industries’ head, countless entrepreneurs sought investment yearly.
The guy just now was one of many.
Nothing unusual.
He hit the gas and drove Pepper back to Stark Industries.
“Thanks, Happy. It’s late; you should go home and rest.”
Pepper said as she got out of the car.
“Good night, Pepper.”
Happy nodded and drove away.
As Tony’s friend and driver, he had saved up quite a bit over the years.
Though he couldn’t afford a mansion, a large apartment in New York City was within reach.
Driving steadily, listening to music, and humming a tune, Happy stopped at a red light.
Waiting idly at the intersection, he noticed someone familiar nearby.
It was Killian.
Killian was in a phone booth, making a call.
Soon, he left the booth but left his briefcase behind.
Seeing this, Happy’s curiosity was piqued.
He already felt something was off about Killian.
Now, his strange behavior confirmed it.
“Beep, beep, beep…”
The car behind him honked impatiently.
“Damn it, what are you doing? Move your car!”
Happy snapped back to reality, seeing the light had turned green.
He glanced at the phone booth one last time.
His curiosity grew.
He parked the car on the side of the road, stepping out to investigate.
But as soon as he got out…
