Kurumi Tokisaki's Planar Journey - Chapter 461
“Boom!—”
With a deafening crash, Diarmuid’s crimson spear bent slightly as his shoulder muscles tensed and his feet dug into the ground.
“Lancer, you truly live up to the name of a knight.”
Kurumi’s exposed wine-red eyes narrowed into crescents, filled with a seductive smile.
Despite her delicate appearance, the witch never relented in her attacks!
Punch after punch, her tiny white fists delivered immense power, each strike landing precisely on the crimson spear!
Each punch created a gust of air, the compressed air around the edges turning pale white!
Diarmuid could only defend passively, holding his crimson spear firmly to block the bizarrely aggressive witch’s attacks!
“Crack! Crack! Crack!”
With each step back, his feet dug into the concrete, crushing loose stones underfoot, but no one cared about such insignificant details.
Diarmuid gritted his teeth. The witch’s attacks grew faster, yet each punch retained its power.
He was struggling to keep up!
His heroic spirit body prevented excessive lactic acid buildup in his muscles, which was a blessing, or he might not even be able to hold his spear!
Kurumi’s smile deepened. They had fought from one end of the port to the other, leaving a trail of destroyed shipping containers. It was hard to imagine what the site supervisor would think when inspecting the area the following day.
Her left fist struck out, sending white air waves around. Diarmuid took another two steps back, ready to break away from the fight at any moment!
Complicated magic patterns briefly lit up on the back of her pale hand!
Drawing her right fist to her waist, she suddenly punched out, her expression tightening in concentration as Diarmuid’s tension grew.
“Boom!—”
The others were used to the sound of sonic booms by now, but this powerful punch still left the other heroic spirits wide-eyed.
The white air waves had barely dissipated before being swept away by the influx of air!
Diarmuid was blasted into a cluster of shipping containers, crashing through countless boxes!
Kurumi panted slightly, her chest rising and falling. Combined with her enchanting face, she looked incredibly alluring.
Her right sleeve had torn, revealing a large patch of snowy skin, with magic power interweaving on it before slowly returning to normal.
She casually shook her tiny hand, noticing a slight red mark from exerting too much force.
The [Gamma]-grade magic pattern had faded into her “skin,” draining her magic power, leaving her arms feeling a bit weak.
Dust settled slowly, revealing a massive hole through the containers from inside to outside.
Kurumi didn’t estimate the power of her punch, but it was likely akin to her ‘Nightmare’ state, surpassing war machines. The damage dealt to Diarmuid must have been significant.
Kurumi turned to look at Kennedy, where no signs of life remained in the shadows.
She looked back at the steel ruins, noticing Diarmuid’s dwindling magic power dispersing into the air.
“Rider, what… what happened?” Weber asked cautiously.
The Conqueror King stared at the ruins, confirming after a while, “Lancer seems to have been seriously injured and was probably summoned away by your teacher with a Command Spell.”
“Gulp—”
Weber swallowed hard. Lancer, known as one of the Three Knights, had been severely injured by a witch using only physical combat. Was she really a witch?!
He had watched Lancer’s fight with Saber, where Lancer had the upper hand and was widening the gap.
But against the witch, his worldview was shattered!
Didn’t that mean this witch was far more potent than the famous King Arthur?!
The more Weber thought, the colder he felt. Even though his teacher was no longer present, the current situation was beyond his control!
“Witch… you surprise me! Would you like to become my concubine?” Gilgamesh, with his haughty demeanor, seemed to think it would be an honor for Kurumi.
Kurumi’s eyes narrowed slightly. She was wary of Gilgamesh’s Chains of Heaven. With her divine nature, it would be hard to break free.
Using technological weapons would only provoke Gaia and Alaya’s countermeasures.
“Sorry, I’m used to being free and might not adapt to royal life.”
Ripples appeared behind Gilgamesh’s “Gate of Babylon” as he coldly responded, “Witch, you have one more chance! If you become my concubine, I might consider giving you the Holy Grail.”
Kurumi blinked and looked around, “I think you’ve misunderstood. I’m not a participant in the ‘Holy Grail War.'”
“As I said before, I’m just here for the fun. The real Caster is someone else.”
“What does that have to do with you rejecting me?!”
Gilgamesh, used to being a tyrant, hadn’t adapted to the modern era.
Kurumi subtly activated her spiritual vortex, sensing her hair tips turning white again. She wasn’t sure if her following words would anger the arrogant king.
“Ah, you still don’t get it? I’m a normal human, truly alive! Whereas you… even as a king, are just a dead person! You were summoned by a mage to win the Holy Grail War as a tool.”
“This isn’t your era, and I can’t follow you back to the Throne of Heroes.”
Gilgamesh’s face grew colder. “Witch, I’m very disappointed in you. You should take responsibility for your words!”
His handsome face contorted with rage. “Everything in this world belongs to me! You should be grateful for your earlier performance that sparked my interest.”
“Now! I will cripple you and take you back for proper training!”
The treasures in the “Gate of Babylon” lowered, and golden ripples spread around, waiting for the king’s command!
Kurumi’s spiritual energy surged, her black dress turning white at the edges again!
She lightly gripped the air, and two old-style guns began to materialize.
In the dark sewers, a white-haired man in a hood clutched his arm, speaking coldly, “Berserker.”
“Buzz!—”
As tensions peaked, a black and purple magic circle rose from the damaged ground!
“Roar!—”
Clad in black armor with gray mist swirling around, the newcomer was encased entirely in armor, appearing to have been a knight in life.
Kurumi relaxed her hands, the gun shadows dissipating, and she stepped back, leaving the battlefield to the two.
“Tch!” Gilgamesh was annoyed. “Insolent worm, who allowed you to look up at me!”
