Kurumi Tokisaki's Planar Journey - Chapter 476
Looking through the sniper scope, Kurumi pouted. Saber in a tentacle play scenario might have been intriguing, but it held no allure in this context.
She pulled the trigger, and in the next instant, the bullet pierced the giant tentacle clean through!
Magic erupted from Saber’s body, forcibly tearing away the smaller tentacles.
Just as she landed back on the water, her iron boots pushed her back, swinging her sword to slice through all the attacking tentacles!
Kurumi looked up at the night sky, where the moon was half-obscured by clouds. Red and green lights danced in the air, occasionally exploding like fireworks, adding a touch of brilliance.
“What to do next…?” Kurumi murmured, but her muzzle turned towards the opposite shore.
“Emiya Kiritsugu hasn’t dealt with Ryuunosuke yet.”
On the riverside, amidst the crowd, a conspicuous orange figure stood out, gesticulating wildly with a maniacal expression. Even the most excited child wouldn’t display such exaggerated movements, but Ryuunosuke paid no mind to the stares, reveling in his frenzy.
Suddenly, Ryuunosuke floated slightly off the ground and fell hard onto the concrete.
The surrounding people recoiled in fear!
Kurumi adjusted her scope, following the bullet’s trajectory and quickly locating Kiritsugu’s hidden position.
“Bang!~”
The sound of the bullet dissipated in the wind, and blood spurted from Ryuunosuke’s forehead as he slammed into the ground!
“That’s odd!”
“What’s wrong?” Kurumi frowned. Red Queen rarely sounded like this, especially during combat.
“Ryuunosuke’s brains didn’t splatter out!”
Kurumi grimaced, “Be serious, please.”
“Oh, Ryuunosuke’s Command Seals have disappeared. We can now fully focus on attacking Caster.”
Red Queen, piloting Nightmare, hid within a cloud, her precise electronic eyes capturing every expression of the Masters and Servants below.
“Besides worrying about Gilgamesh’s Enkidu, you could easily crush the others in your divine state! And Nightmare can autonomously attack when Enkidu is used.”
“Boom!~”
The noise in her earpiece made Kurumi frown slightly. She looked up, seeing the red and green lights colliding within Nightmare’s cloud!
“Damn! Two mad dogs!”
Red Queen’s complaint made Kurumi smile. It was sheer luck that they clashed in the sky.
“Damn it! Master, I need to use tech-based weapons!”
Kurumi shrugged, “Watch your angle; aim for the river.”
“Understood!”
Nightmare’s crimson electronic eyes locked onto the two combatants. The earlier scattershot attack caught her off guard!
Nightmare’s coating was precious, using technology beyond what this world could produce!
Red Queen pouted in the data stream. The scratch on Nightmare’s left-wing irked her greatly!
“Increasing energy reactor output by 30%! Preparing to fire high-energy plasma cannon!”
“Zap!—”
A stark white beam pierced the red light, hit the green light’s tail, and then continued into the river!
The white beam’s light was blinding on the red bridge’s far side!
Caster, enraged by Ryuunosuke’s death, fell eerily silent.
Weber shivered, looking skyward.
A cloud was torn apart, white steam rising from the dissipating beam into the sky!
“Heavens! If that hit the sea demon, would it die?!”
Diarmuid squinted, “Its power is terrifying, but to kill the sea demon, it would need to hit Caster directly. The beam’s range is too small.”
“Who fired that? Archer?”
“I’m not sure. The method is similar but fundamentally different.”
“Who could it be?”
…
At that moment, Gilgamesh’s face was dark. The white beam had hit his tail and pierced it effortlessly!
Without his precise control, he would have crashed from the sky, losing face entirely.
“Tokiomi, who is that new mad dog?”
Tokiomi, dressed in a burgundy suit, looked slightly disheveled. After a moment, he bowed to Gilgamesh.
“My apologies, King of Heroes, I have no information.”
“Tch! Useless!”
Gilgamesh’s face darkened, “The Master of the black smoke mad dog should be nearby. Go find him.”
“But…” Tokiomi hesitated, “My King…”
“I’ll handle the sky vermin myself!”
Tokiomi gritted his teeth. He preferred Gilgamesh to deal with the sea demon instead.
Looking up at the sky, where clouds gathered to obscure the god-like figure, he wondered, ‘Who is that?’
Concealing his shock, Tokiomi’s expression remained unchanged.
Maintaining his bow, he said, “Then, my King, I shall take my leave.”
Gilgamesh waved dismissively as if swatting a fly.
Tokiomi sighed inwardly and left respectfully.
His target was Berserker’s Master, a disgrace to the mage lineage.
…
“Master,” Red Queen’s tone shifted.
“What now?”
“Berserker might join your battle. Also, I’ve drawn Gilgamesh’s attention.”
“Well, testing his limits isn’t bad. He won’t use Ea anyway.”
Red Queen’s face paled, “Master! I haven’t tried countering spatial laws!”
“Don’t worry, I’m here. If he doesn’t know his place…” Kurumi’s hair tips turned white, “I’ll send him back to the Throne of Heroes tonight!”
“But Nightmare isn’t heavily armed with tech weapons! The spear’s lost in the river…”
“Damn it!”
Red Queen’s gritted teeth voice came through the earpiece, “If Left Eye were here, I’d turn you all to dust!”
Kurumi was about to tease Red Queen when her sense of danger spiked!
Twilight Star was thrust in front of her chest, a massive force pressing against it!
“Clang!—”
She slid three or four meters along the steel beam before stopping.
“Ara, ara~ Lancelot, why aren’t you with your beloved king?”
“Could it be… you’re interested in courting me?”
