Kurumi Tokisaki's Planar Journey - Chapter 477
A berserker, an almost entirely unconscious spirit, couldn’t understand what others were saying. However, Kurumi’s mention of “Lancelot” caused the black mist-shrouded figure to hesitate momentarily.
Perhaps he was knocked to the other end of the bridge and didn’t see Saber; otherwise, he wouldn’t have come to trouble Kurumi.
Kurumi raised Twilight Star with one hand, and the 12.7mm caliber bullet shot out instantly!
“Bang, bang, bang!”
Three sparks flew as the bullets struck the steel, and Lancelot barely managed to block it with a damaged wing. The steel bent inward, nearly pierced through! His ominous, black, mist-covered hand was inserted into it!
The entire damaged wing instantly restored itself! But it was covered with black and red marks, making it look unsettling.
“That’s a convenient skill.”
Kurumi took two steps back, and the Twilight Star in her hands disappeared, replaced by a long blade crackling with lightning!
She glanced at the water; Saber and the others were at a stalemate with Caster. Thinking of a breakthrough tactic, she looked again at the corrupted Lancelot before her.
She sighed and realized there was no way this could end peacefully tonight.
“Bang!”
Lancelot exerted his strength, bending the bridge’s steel inward, which sounded different from concrete breaking.
Kurumi’s feet trembled slightly, and she slashed upwards with her blade!
“Slash!—”
As expected, her speed was restricted in such a limited space on the steel frame.
Lancelot’s strength didn’t diminish, and his large wing acted like a guillotine, slicing down towards Kurumi’s head!
Kurumi squinted, leaping to the other end of the bridge.
She spun her blade, blocking the sparks flying towards her.
The wing, now a Noble Phantasm, nearly cut the thick steel beam in half with this blow!
It sounded like thunder in the sky, but Gilgamesh was clashing with Nightmare. The two engaged in a fierce battle, unable to overpower the other!
Having lost its spear, Nightmare could only mimic Gilgamesh, turning the battle into a bullet hell game!
Saber, Diarmuid, and Rider gathered on the shore, and Diarmuid seemed about to break his Noble Phantasm.
Kurumi felt a twinge of concern; if Saber used her anti-fortress, Noble Phantasm, she couldn’t stop it.
This meant Caster wouldn’t be her kill.
Tonight, her identity as a “divine spirit” might be revealed.
“Clang!”
Taking advantage of Lancelot’s struggle to pull out his “Noble Phantasm,” Kurumi struck first, slashing his arm’s armor!
Black mist surged, trying to engulf her lightning blade!
Kurumi’s eyes glowed faintly gold, her twin tails turning pure white!
Divine spirit power erupted in her hand, striking Lancelot’s chest and sending him flying towards the riverside, where the other spirits gathered!
“Boom!”
A black lightning bolt arced across the sky, hitting the riverbank!
This made Saber and the others wary!
Dust didn’t fly up much, only scattering some grass and soil. The spirits’ keen eyesight had already seen the newcomer.
“Berserker!”
Saber raised her sword, and Diarmuid, now with only one spear, pointed it at Lancelot.
At this moment, Rider had trapped the sea monster within his “Ionian Hetairoi,” and the water was filled with dismembered limbs and blood. The purple mist was also dissipating.
Occasional broken Noble Phantasms shot down from the sky, indicating the high and mighty king was fighting a powerful foe.
Saber looked towards the bridge, noticing the shadow had vanished.
She felt a weight in her heart; the curse on her left wrist was lifted. If Rider released the sea monster, she had the confidence to strike a fatal blow!
But now…
“Saber! I’ll handle him. You go to the designated spot and prepare to unleash your Noble Phantasm!”
Saber glanced at Irisviel, then nodded to Diarmuid, “Thank you!”
With that, she rushed towards the water.
Sword raised, Saber clashed with Lancelot!
Diarmuid swiftly intervened, his “Gáe Buidhe” quickly turning the winged Noble Phantasm into scrap metal.
“Berserker, your opponent is me!”
Seeing this, Saber continued towards the water. Lancelot, disregarding everything, tried to pursue her but was struck by Diarmuid’s spear, sending him crashing into the muddy riverbank!
Mud mixed with blood splattered into the air, staining Irisviel’s white coat.
Enshrouded in black mist, Lancelot struggled in the muddy pit before collapsing and vanishing.
Diarmuid lowered his spear, frowning deeply.
Even if he could suppress Berserker, he didn’t have the power to injure him in an instant seriously.
Could it be that he was already wounded? Or… did something happen to his Master?
There were too many possibilities. Diarmuid stopped guessing and turned towards the water.
Saber stood in the center, waiting for Rider to release the sea monster.
“Please… don’t disappoint me.”
“Huh?!”
All three spoke in unison as the witch suddenly appeared beside Saber!
Diarmuid slightly adjusted his spear, locking his gaze on Kurumi. If the witch made sudden moves, he would be ready to support Saber immediately!
At this critical moment, no surprises could be allowed!
…
Rewinding to when Lancelot and Diarmuid clashed, Kurumi’s earpiece was filled with Red Queen’s loud exclamations.
This indicated that the little one wasn’t entirely focused on the fight, at least not with Gilgamesh.
“Ah!”
Kurumi raised an eyebrow, not bothering to ask. She slightly activated her spirit vortex, trying to increase its activity.
“Master! Nightmare’s conventional ammunition is running out! Can I use high-damage weapons to blast Gilgamesh?”
“Be mindful of living beings. And beware of Gilgamesh’s temper. If he activates Ea, I’ll have to find you in the space-time rift.”
Red Queen immediately backed down. Although she was just a data manipulator, she didn’t want to lose Nightmare, a strategic weapon!
The precious alloy on its body alone would make her heart ache for days.
“Alright, Master, I’ll seek cover! If Gilgamesh troubles you, I’ll give him a big one from the sky!”
Kurumi rolled her eyes, “Just don’t cause me trouble. Saber has moved; I should stretch my muscles, too.”
“Hehe, if they find out you’re the legendary ‘divine spirit,’ they’ll find ways to deal with you.”
“So what? You can stall Gilgamesh, right? I just need to be cautious of ‘All the World’s Evil.’”
Nightmare evaded a few more projectiles and shot towards the sky!
“Hehe, increasing thruster output! Activating mirror armor!”
“Wishing you good fortune in battle!”
