Kurumi Tokisaki's Planar Journey - Chapter 483
The mission was over. With Kurumi’s intervention, Kiritsugu Emiya ultimately didn’t lay a hand on Kenneth and his companion.
The divine radiance left him deeply shocked, with words like “gods,” “Holy Grail,” “war,” and “suffering” constantly circling in his mind.
Saber didn’t give him a good look, but that was expected.
Maiya took Irisviel away, and Kenneth wisely sought help from Kurumi while holding Sola.
Though no other miracles occurred, at least their lives were spared.
When Kurumi and the Red Queen returned to the villa, the divine radiance faded away, the vortex of spiritual energy in her body ceased operating, and the divine power seed was naturally suppressed.
Losing the two major restraining forces’ permissions granted to her, Kurumi emerged from that state of detachment.
The beautiful girl in the black dress walked to the floor mirror. Under her wine-red eye, the black teardrop mole stood out.
“Tsk!”
She deliberately suppressed her ‘charm,’ making the captivating teardrop mole disappear.
Kurumi clearly saw the dazed look on Sakura Matou’s face through the mirror.
Even Red Queen seemed to flash a moment of confusion.
And that was just from facing the mirror, without any intentional seduction, yet it had such a strong effect!
Kurumi touched her cheek. “Is this really a gift from Diarmuid?”
“Enhanced by the Main God?”
She curled her lips. Although she didn’t know what great use this thing had, it wasn’t too bad.
“Maybe… try it out on the street?”
Red Queen rolled her eyes at this. Her master was already incredibly beautiful, and with these successive passive enhancements, who knew what disaster might ensue!
Red Queen quickly thought of someone to dispel her master’s unrealistic idea.
“Master~ didn’t you want to test the ‘Gift of Radiant Appearance’?”
“No,” Kurumi said calmly. “Can’t you see I’m trying to suppress it? The Holy Grail War is about to end; I don’t want to cause any major trouble.”
“Really?” Red Queen floated beside Kurumi with a mischievous smile.
“I’ve already found a target for you~ how about that little knight girl, Saber?”
“Not interested,” Kurumi shook her head. “You want me to sit with her and discuss noble ideals?”
“Well~ there’s nothing much going on now anyway, wouldn’t it be nice to relax?”
Kurumi gave her a sidelong glance. “I’d relax, but the remaining Masters would get anxious.”
“Oh, right.” Kurumi turned to the quiet Sakura Matou sitting on the bed. “Have you found the old worm?”
Red Queen adjusted her expression. “The main body has stayed in the Matou household without any sign of movement, but we haven’t figured out how many clones there are in the shadows.”
Seeing her master remain silent, Red Queen hurriedly added, “The Nightmare has been operating non-stop, 24/7. Any news will be reported immediately.”
“I see.” Kurumi walked over to Sakura, placing a gentle hand on her head.
“I’m just worried about you, Sakura.”
Sakura timidly raised her head, trying to keep her voice calm.
“Big… Big Sister, are you leaving?”
“Of course not, don’t worry, Sakura.”
“I…” Sakura hugged her plush toy tightly with one hand and tugged on Kurumi’s dress with the other. “When you leave, can… can you take me with you?”
“Why? Wouldn’t it be nice to go back to your mother and sister?”
“I…” Sakura opened her mouth but couldn’t say anything more.
Red Queen floated in the air, shaking her head. “Master, I’ve arranged a meeting with Saber for you.”
“Taking the initiative isn’t a good habit.”
“Don’t you want to test how effective the teardrop mole is?”
Kurumi sat on the bed, crossing her legs under her black dress. Her black boots were slightly raised and gleaming faintly under the light.
“Coming to the Fate/Zero world, even you accept my title as a witch.”
“Tsk tsk tsk.” Kurumi clicked her tongue. “Words really are scary.”
“Hehe~” Red Queen played dumb beside her, then mischievously asked, “So, Her Ladyship, could you fulfill a wish for Red Queen?”
“You should have asked for help when I was in my divine form.”
“No, no, no!” Red Queen shook her head vigorously. “That was too scary!”
“Hmm?” Kurumi frowned slightly, snapping her fingers, making Sakura fall into a deep sleep beside her.
Kurumi looked at Red Queen, waiting for her to continue.
“Tokiomi Tohsaka wants to ally with Saber, but because of Kirei Kotomine, things seem to have fallen through.”
Kurumi rubbed her smooth chin. “So, Tokiomi Tohsaka is close to his demise?”
“Not necessarily.” Red Queen shrugged. “Because of you, everyone left is extremely cautious. Though Gilgamesh doesn’t seem to show much pressure, he also doesn’t wander the streets as he used to.”
“What about Kariya Matou?”
“He seems to know some of the truth but still showed Tokiomi Tohsaka that illusion during the hunt for Caster.”
“Oh?” Kurumi’s interest was piqued slightly. “How did Tokiomi Tohsaka react? Did he want to grind the old worm into the ground?”
Red Queen saw her master’s eager expression and laughed dryly. “It turns out, the traditions of magi are deeply rooted in Tokiomi Tohsaka’s bones.”
“He merely frowned slightly before returning to normal and even said something like ‘which magus hasn’t undergone trials.'”
“And then the enraged Kariya Matou fought him. The result was obvious. Though Tokiomi Tohsaka didn’t kill him, he pushed Kariya to the brink of collapse.”
“I’ve got recordings of everything!”
“Uh… why keep such things?”
Red Queen replied matter-of-factly, “To prevent you from getting another side quest~ it’s preparation to let Aoi and Rin Tohsaka see Tokiomi Tohsaka’s ugly face…”
Red Queen continued her rambling while Kurumi rubbed her forehead.
“I’ve realized, compared to the duo of pleasure, you are the one with the worst taste in this Holy Grail War.”
Red Queen floated in the air, mimicking Kurumi’s gesture, lightly lifting her black dress in a graceful curtsy.
“Thank you for the compliment.”
“Ah!” Red Queen’s ladylike demeanour quickly shifted to playful mischief. “Saber agreed to meet you!”
Flying around Kurumi twice, she asked, “Ready for your date tomorrow?”
Kurumi rolled her eyes. Unintentionally, the teardrop mole began to show signs of reappearing.
“It looks more like a duel, doesn’t it? She probably can’t stand me.”
“How could that be? Getting a date with Her Ladyship is something millions would die for!”
“That’s just your wishful thinking. Besides, I don’t think I’d say anything nice in my divine state.”
“Oh, come on! Just consider it as recruiting an ally. During a two-front battle, she could buy you some time~.”
