Kurumi Tokisaki's Planar Journey - Chapter 505
Hanging in the sky, a half-moon cast its glow. It had a figure within it. ‘Nightmare’ flew past the moon, having scoured the surrounding areas of Fuyuki City. Kurumi was now heading toward Fuyuki Central Park.
In her memory, the Great Holy Grail descended at Fuyuki Central Park in the old residential area during the Fourth Holy Grail War.
Thus, when ‘All the World’s Evils’ erupted from the Great Holy Grail, it resulted in a massive number of ordinary people dying.
In Japan, a country with an extremely high population density, it was not unimaginable for ‘All the World’s Evils’ to kill so many people in one go.
The signal lights on ‘Nightmare’ had long been removed. Kurumi was expressionless, and ‘Nightmare’ was merely in regular cruising mode, seemingly indifferent to the descent of the Great Holy Grail.
The chibi Red Queen was still sitting there, quietly flipping through various materials related to the Holy Grail. Kurumi glanced at her, a ripple flashing through her wine-red eyes.
She had not informed Red Queen about her plan to escape the Main God’s control through the ‘Root’ within the Holy Grail.
As she approached Central Park, the filthy magical energy growing increasingly nauseating, Kurumi softly spoke, “Red Queen.”
“Yes?”
The chibi Red Queen blinked her big eyes, looking very cute. Seeing that her master had not continued speaking, she asked, “Do you need something?”
“Pack up all those miscellaneous things left in the villa and leave them for Sakura. Come here as soon as possible.”
The chibi Red Queen scratched her big head with small hands, “Are we not staying in the Fate/Zero world after the Holy Grail War ends?”
“No, we will return immediately after it’s over.”
Red Queen straightened her expression, “Understood, I will pack everything and come over right away!”
“Remember to have Aoi Tohsaka pick up Sakura.”
“Yes, master. Don’t worry, I will arrange everything properly!”
Kurumi breathed deeply, “Alright, I will be putting ‘Nightmare’ away now.”
“Understood!”
The cute voice of Red Queen disappeared, replaced by the sound of the wind. As she quietly landed outside Central Park, Kurumi’s combat outfit transformed into a long black dress.
She didn’t want to escape the Main God so early. With her current abilities, she still couldn’t create a space within her body, and even with divine support, the success rate was minimal.
She stored ‘Nightmare’ in her space backpack and kept Red Queen’s leading body on her person.
The space backpack belonged to the Main God. If she escaped through the ‘Root,’ the Main God would reclaim everything in the space backpack.
Legend has it that the Throne of Heroes is outside the world, and the Lesser Holy Grail uses heroes’ returning spirits to pierce small holes through the dimension.
The purpose of the Great Holy Grail is to stabilise these “holes.” In a way, that thing is the ‘Root,’ an existence coveted by countless magicians.
But to Kurumi, the Holy Grail, capable of piercing through the world, was her best means of escape.
She didn’t care about the ‘Root,’ even if it was ‘Truth,’ ‘Ultimate Knowledge,’ Kurumi wasn’t tempted.
Those things represented, at most, the Type-Moon universe, which was just a transitional world for low-level reincarnation to extraordinary individuals.
The ‘Truth’ of this place would make powerful beings laugh. In their realm, a single insight gained far surpassed the ‘Root’ of the Type-Moon universe.
Such ‘Truth’ could only serve as a reference to true experts. Although Kurumi was far from reaching that level, the divine seed in her body contained vast knowledge.
Moreover, if she wanted to escape the Main God’s control, she wouldn’t have time to study at the ‘Root.’
The Main God was busy with other timelines, and not using the Holy Grail to escape to another world would waste the opportunity the Main God had given her.
“Click~”
Her black boots stepped on the mud, and Kurumi paused. She was still undecided. As a Spirit of Time with a temporal and spatial divine nature, she had strong self-preservation abilities in interdimensional storms.
But if she landed in a highly terrifying world, would those beings erase her consciousness?
Or… would she perish in the spatial storm?
These possibilities were high. Kurumi’s face turned slightly pale. Given the current situation, staying under the Main God’s wing was the safest bet, but she had a bad premonition.
Kurumi even suspected she had developed paranoia!
‘Jump! After absorbing the black mud, jump into the Holy Grail! Escape the Main God through the Root! This way, you’ll be free from the constraints of being a reincarnator!’
‘Don’t jump! Do you have a 100% guarantee of escaping the Main God? No! Do you have a guarantee of surviving the spatial storm? No! Can you confirm the new world? No! You can’t be sure of anything, so stay with the Main God!’
‘Don’t listen to her nonsense! Only by escaping the Main God can you have a wonderful life! What are you now? The Main God’s dog! Think of your temporal and spatial divine nature, it will help you through the difficulties!’
‘You must not leave the Main God!’
‘You must leave the Main God!’
‘Don’t!’
‘Go!’
It felt like two little figures were arguing in her ear. Kurumi shook her head vigorously. When had she become so cautious?
Reincarnators were beings who danced on the edge of a blade, right?
Adventuring and striving, even if it meant death, to seize that slim chance of survival was the essence of a reincarnator!
She had lived comfortably for too long to let go of some things.
A gleam flashed in her eyes. Since she had the chance, there was no reason not to take it!
The magical energy raged in Central Park, and residents around could only feel a sudden gale, prompting them to shut their windows tightly.
Kurumi stepped forward, and the blocked spiritual vortex within her body erupted instantly!
The divine seed asserted its presence through the vortex, and her divine spirit outfit transformed into a white dress with golden edges and patterns!
Her long, dark hair turned completely white, and it showed a faint golden hue under the divine radiance.
Her golden eyes were cold, exuding divine majesty at all times!
The surge of divine power instantly suppressed the raging magical energy in the area!
Artoria, seeing Kiritsugu Emiya approaching the Holy Grail, felt the divine power fluctuation. She gripped Excalibur tightly, glanced at the Holy Grail, and quickly rushed towards the source of the divine eruption!
An ominous premonition gripped her heart, causing pain, sadness, fear, and anxiety!
Artoria didn’t understand why she felt this way, but the closer she got to the divine power source, the more intense her heartbeat became!
“Tap tap tap—”
Her quick footsteps halted, and Artoria looked in disbelief at Kurumi. The divine radiance surrounded the ‘goddess,’ and a gigantic inverted tree appeared behind her!
