Leading Naruto to Destroy the World - Chapter 6
“Father’s home…”
Naruto stared blankly at the house’s layout, the words echoing.
A spacious kitchen, a clean living room, and a cozy home for three.
Naruto’s nose started to tingle for some reason, and his vision grew blurry with tears.
This was the home he had always dreamed of.
The place he had fantasized about countless times on cold, lonely nights, staring at the dilapidated ceiling.
Like a dream, it appeared before his eyes.
…
On the second floor.
Mirai looked around and stopped in front of a familiar door.
Creak!
He skillfully turned the handle and pushed the door open.
The room was filled with clutter, covered in dust.
This had once been his bedroom, now turned into a storage room.
Entering the room, he scanned his surroundings and was drawn to the corner of a photo album peeking out from the clutter.
He removed the piled-up junk, retrieved it, and brushed off the dust.
Looking at the familiar faces in the photo, Mirai chuckled, but his eyes grew moist.
It was a picture of three people.
In the center, a young blond man with a radiant smile, his arms around two others, pulling them close.
On the right, a young woman with fiery red hair smiles brightly. On the left, another blond young man seems reluctantly pulling away, trying to distance himself.
Before Minato married, he and his brother and sister-in-law lived here.
This life continued until Minato and Kushina married, forcing him to move out.
After all, living with his brother and sister-in-law would raise eyebrows.
“Speaking of which, I’ve been back for a few days now but haven’t visited you yet.”
Mirai’s voice was tinged with melancholy.
…
Konoha Cemetery.
Konoha’s deceased ninjas were buried here, endless graves standing solemnly at the village’s edge.
Mirai placed the lilies he held in front of the tombstone.
This was the grave of Minato and Kushina, the former Fourth Hokage and the hero who saved the village.
Even in death, they were buried here quietly, forgotten by most.
Looking at the tombstone, Mirai’s eyes grew sorrowful as he recalled his journey to the ninja world.
In his previous life, he had also been an orphan.
His grandmother had raised him alone. He worked hard, got into a prestigious university, and thought he would succeed, only to become a corporate drone.
He died of overwork one night, not even having the chance to clear his browser history, and found himself in this world called the ninja world.
Mirai had panicked.
He vaguely remembered this as a popular setting from an island nation’s manga.
But in his previous life, he hadn’t delved into such manga.
Racking his brains, he could only recall scattered phrases like “Five Village Battle” and “Gundam saves mother.”
These were jokes he had seen on social media.
Fortunately, when one door closes, another opens.
In his mind was a towering tree of electromagnetism, capable of absorbing any energy to upgrade his electromagnetic abilities.
And so.
Ninjas of this world, behold your Electromagnetic Emperor!
During the Third Shinobi War, he made a name for himself with his Railgun, Electromagnetic Propulsion, and hand-crafted simplified Gundams…
Mirai successfully established his reputation as the Blue Flash!
Alongside Minato, the Yellow Flash, they became known as the Dual Flashes of Konoha.
In the war, he fought against the Magnet Release user Rasa, who stood in the sky and made Rasa doubt his abilities.
After the war, Minato became the Fourth Hokage, living a shamelessly happy life with Kushina.
As Kushina’s belly grew, Mirai realized he couldn’t stay there indefinitely.
So he left the village to take care of something.
Unexpectedly, it took him three years!
“Come out.”
Without turning around, Mirai spoke calmly.
Behind him, a figure emerged from the shadows.
Dressed in standard Anbu attire, with a ninja sword, a cat mask, and white hair.
“Big brother Mirai, I knew you would come here.”
Kakashi’s eyes were filled with complex emotions.
“Minato has been dead for three years. As his disciple, is this how you treat his orphan?”
Mirai didn’t turn, but his voice carried a hint of coldness.
Kakashi remained silent.
In those three years, he had been engulfed in his pain.
His father’s suicide, the death of his best friend, killing his comrade with his own hands, the deaths of his teacher and his teacher’s wife…
A series of blows had made his world bleak.
He buried himself in the cold, mechanical missions of the Anbu to escape.
This lasted until the day Mirai stormed into the Hokage’s office with Naruto, which struck a heavy blow to his frozen heart.
That was why he had come to find Mirai today.
He couldn’t forgive himself for ignoring Naruto.
“Tell me what happened that night.”
Mirai’s eyes narrowed to slits.
In the days since his return, he had investigated Minato’s death but found limited information.
It seemed everyone was tight-lipped about that night.
“That night…”
Kakashi’s gaze passed over the rows of tombstones, and he sighed.
“That was the night Lady Kushina was giving birth. At the time, I was…”
Kakashi recounted everything he knew.
As an Anbu squad leader, he had access to far more information than regular ninjas. After the Nine-Tails Night, he used resources to investigate the truth.
What he knew was almost on par with high-level figures like Sarutobi and Danzo.
“Sharingan, Nine-Tails rampage, traces of Wood Release…”
Mirai’s eyes narrowed.
The situation was more complicated than he had imagined.
To manipulate the Nine-Tails, it had to be an extraordinary Sharingan…
“The higher-ups suspect it’s related to the Uchiha clan, which is why they’re now so distrusted in the village.”
“It’s probably not them,” Mirai said calmly. “Minato worked hard to resolve the tension between the Uchiha and the village. They had no reason to do something so foolish.”
Kakashi pondered this, finding it unreasonable as well.
After listening to Mirai, he increasingly felt the village’s investigation was off track, and the truth was not as it seemed.
Someone capable of infiltrating the village unnoticed, fighting Minato, who mastered the Flying Thunder God Technique, and possibly wielding both Wood Release and Sharingan…
Whoever you are, I will not let you go.
Mirai stared at Minato’s tombstone.
“Until then, my foolish brother, I’ll take care of Naruto!”
