Lee Sin's Bizzare Adventure - Chapter 16
As Squalo continued to mock, Lee Sin rolled on the deck with all his might.
In just a few seconds, Lee Sin had wiped clean all the puddles that allowed “Clash” to teleport.
Without the ability to continuously teleport for surprise attacks, “Clash” was now like a fish out of water, flopping helplessly on dry land.
At this point, the only place left on the boat with enough water to contain “Clash” was the cup of iced drink that Lee Sin had sipped from earlier.
“Success.”
Listening to the tiny ripples in the glass, Lee Sin knew that:
With all the puddles wiped away, the Stand had nowhere to go.
It could only teleport into the small cup, forced to shrink to an innocuous size.
“Does that mean I’ve won?”
“No, I can’t be sure yet.”
“The water on the boat is mostly gone, but… we’re still at sea.”
Although he had gained an advantage, Lee Sin was more nervous than when he was being passively attacked at the beginning.
He focused intently on the glass containing “Clash,” carefully listening for any movements from the enemy Stand, preparing for the dreadful possibility he suspected.
Sure enough…
With no coordinates to teleport to, “Clash” vanished silently from the glass.
As Lee Sin had feared, “Clash” reappeared in the sea.
Its ability allowed it to teleport between bodies of water, and the endless sea was an ideal medium for its teleportation.
The most frightening aspect was that “Clash’s” size adapted to the water volume.
So, when it emerged from the sea…
It wasn’t a small shark anymore but a gigantic “megalodon” over twenty meters long!
Its size was so massive and imposing that the 13-14 meter long yacht looked like a delicate model in front of it.
“Clash” rose from the waves, slowly turning its colossal head and opening its abyss-like mouth towards Lee Sin.
“Sigh…”
“The worst-case scenario happened.”
Lee Sin sighed deeply.
He had no doubt that with its current size, the Stand could easily swallow him and the boat whole.
The emergence of “Clash” had stirred up a massive wave on the previously calm sea, making even Andrew notice the abnormality:
“What’s going on!”
“Why is there such a big wave… and the boat, what’s making it tilt like this?”
The yacht was tilting and swaying under the weight of “Clash’s” massive body, forcing Andrew to grab the deck’s railing tightly.
“Is there a sea monster?”
“But… but I can’t see anything!”
“Haha.”
Lee Sin laughed nonchalantly:
“Congratulations, Captain, you guessed right.”
“If we’re lucky, we might meet again inside the sea monster’s stomach.”
“Shut up…”
“I don’t want that kind of luck!”
Andrew was on the verge of breaking down under the unseen yet tangible attack.
Lee Sin, however, remained calm.
He patted Andrew’s shoulder, half-jokingly:
“Just kidding.”
“After all…”
“I don’t know if you’ll survive, but I should be fine.”
“Hmm?”
Andrew was startled by the indifference in Lee Sin’s words.
By this time, “Clash” had revealed its broad, terrifying shark teeth and was lunging at Lee Sin and Andrew.
In an instant, the wind and waves rose.
The yacht bobbed violently in the giant wave created by “Clash,” and the terrified Andrew instinctively closed his eyes.
But Lee Sin did not sit idly by; he made his move—
Ignoring the enormous shark descending upon him, he turned around in the storm and waves, punching towards the unobstructed stern:
“Resonating Strike!”
Blinding white light gathered at his fist, then shot out.
This strike wasn’t aimed at “Clash” but at Squalo fifty meters away.
“It’s you…”
“The Stand user controlling this powerful Stand!”
There were only three people on this sea, and Lee Sin had already locked onto Squalo’s position, waiting for the right moment to launch a long-range surprise attack with Resonating Strike.
Now, the white light of Resonating Strike shot out from the stern, rushing towards Squalo.
If it hit, Lee Sin could use the combined effects of Resonating Strike and Sonic Wave to directly attack the enemy’s body before “Clash” swallowed him and the boat.
However, Squalo’s expression turned into a sneer:
“Now you think of attacking the user?”
“Too slow!”
“Clash’s” ability was teleportation, and with enough water around, no one could match its speed.
Defeating it in a head-on fight was nearly impossible.
So, all of Squalo’s previous enemies would, upon learning of “Clash’s” ability, immediately seek out Squalo to attack the user directly.
Only Lee Sin fought “Clash” head-on for so long before finally deciding to target Squalo.
Seeing the approaching white light, Squalo’s sneer deepened:
“This is the ‘targeting light’ the boss mentioned?”
“Impressive ability. On land, with his powerful perception, it would indeed be a huge threat to me.”
“Too bad…”
“We’re at sea—this is my domain!”
As he spoke…
Before the Resonating Strike could get within twenty meters of Squalo, it was blocked by a mountain of flesh.
That mountain was “Clash.”
In an instant, it teleported to the sea behind the yacht, using its colossal body to block Lee Sin’s targeting light.
At this moment, it was like a teleporting wall.
None of Lee Sin’s abilities could bypass this fleshy mountain.
With “Clash’s” gigantic size, eliminating Lee Sin was merely a matter of one bite.
“Alright…”
“Maintaining such a large form for “Clash” takes a lot of my energy.”
“If I wasn’t in a hurry to get back for lunch with Tiziano, I wouldn’t use this move.”
Squalo wiped the sweat from his forehead, looking a bit weary:
“Let’s not waste time…”
“Attack, Clash!”
Resonating Strike couldn’t penetrate the Stand to hit the user, Safeguard couldn’t be used without allies for displacement, and there were fifty meters of sea between Lee Sin and Squalo, with a twenty-meter-long giant shark in the way.
At Squalo’s command, the teleporting giant shark revealed its terrifying fangs.
From any angle, Squalo had won.
He just needed to sit on his speedboat and watch Lee Sin’s face contort in despair.
However…
To Squalo’s surprise, Lee Sin smiled.
Facing the giant shark lunging at him, he calmly took out a lighter and lit a cigarette:
“Sorry…”
“But it looks like I’ve won this fight.”
