Lee Sin's Bizzare Adventure - Chapter 3
“Huh?”
Amor’s face changed slightly, not from nervousness, but from anger:
He had been so cautious for so long, and this bald guy’s long-winded speech was just to beg for mercy?
What a waste of time!
His hand holding the gun trembled with anger but quickly calmed:
No… something’s not right.
If this bald guy was really begging for mercy, why wasn’t he afraid? Why wasn’t he scared from the beginning?
This must be a trick!
Amor carefully analyzed Lee Sin’s psychological state, and even the four subordinates behind him held their breath in tension.
However, they didn’t know…
Lee Sin really didn’t know what he had that could help him out of this situation.
He simply didn’t know what fear was.
As a child, as an adult, and especially after knowing he was “playing a game,” he never felt fear.
“Oh?”
Seeing Amor and his men nervously hesitating, Lee Sin took a step forward, right into the barrel of Amor’s gun:
“So, you don’t intend to let an ordinary citizen like me go?”
“…….”
Amor was silent for a moment, but his gaze grew firm:
“Of course not!”
“This is a task given by ‘above,’ and I must complete it!”
He gritted his teeth, almost as if brainwashing himself:
“Our organization only allows capable Stand Users to become high-ranking members.”
“Someone like me, an ordinary person on the outskirts of the organization, no matter how hard I work, I can never be promoted.”
“I’m not satisfied.”
“A Stand User, huh? Well then…”
“I’ll kill a Stand User today to prove my worth to the organization!”
Amor’s voice grew louder, both to motivate himself and to help his four young subordinates shake off their fear.
But just as he was about to pull the trigger and fight this unknown, possibly powerful “Stand User,” Lee Sin moved first:
“Hah!”
He shouted to disrupt their minds, then immediately made a cutting motion with his hand aimed at Amor’s eyes.
Lee Sin’s body had greatly strengthened after crossing over. While not at an extraordinary level, he could easily overpower Amor and the other ordinary mafia thugs.
He wanted to use his physical advantage to surprise and blind his opponent, then create chaos and escape.
Unfortunately, things didn’t go as planned.
Though Amor didn’t predict Lee Sin’s sudden attack, he instinctively reacted:
He leaped back like a startled viper, narrowly protecting his eyes.
“Boss Amor!”
Seeing their boss retreat “in defeat,” the four men in black panicked, forgetting even to fire their guns.
After all, in their minds, Lee Sin was a Stand User capable of instant teleportation.
And Stand Users were monsters, not something these small-time thugs could handle.
“Don’t panic!”
While the young men in black were in disarray, Amor, having been attacked by Lee Sin, actually gained confidence.
He steadied himself and looked at Lee Sin with a sharp gaze:
“Everyone, calm down. I’ve seen through this bald guy:”
“Either he doesn’t have the instant teleportation ability we imagined, or he has some unknown limitation.”
Amor explained his thoughts calmly.
It only took an instant, but amazingly…
In this world, explanations don’t take up any time:
“If he wanted to escape, he could have instantly teleported away.”
“If he wanted to fight, he could have used his ability to teleport to my blind spot and launch an undetectable attack.”
“But instead, he only used some crude martial arts on me.”
“This means—”
“That strange teleportation ability, he might not be able to use it anymore!”
“And from the power of his strike just now, while his physical strength far exceeds ordinary soldiers, it’s still within the human range.”
“An unarmed, limited-strength Stand User… we can handle!”
In a few words, Amor revealed Lee Sin’s cards.
And the four young men in black, hearing this explanation, felt reassured, looking at Lee Sin with hungry, wolf-like eyes.
“Ah, really…”
Seeing those dark gun barrels aimed at him, Lee Sin felt a bit helpless:
He had truly tried his best.
But the other side had better skills, more people, and guns.
The difference in power was too great; this game… seemed a bit unbalanced.
The situation turned instantly.
Amor wasn’t even in a hurry to shoot Lee Sin; he gave his orders indifferently:
“Attach the silencers.”
“The downstairs is a busy street, and the bodies here aren’t cleaned up yet. Don’t make too much noise.”
“Attracting people here would be another hassle.”
“Yes!”
The four young men in black, mimicking their boss, skillfully attached silencers to their guns.
Lee Sin knew he couldn’t wait any longer.
Once they could fire without hesitation, he would have no chance to turn the tables.
So, he leaped forward, trying to use one of the men in black as a shield, hoping to dodge out of this bloody room before they could shoot.
“Heh.”
But waiting for him was Amor’s mocking cold laugh:
“Trying to escape?”
“Looks like you really have no other means.”
Under the “explanation time stop” world rules, he leisurely explained his thoughts to Lee Sin, who hadn’t even managed two steps:
“Most Stand Users are monsters that ordinary people can’t handle, not to be underestimated.”
“I deliberately had them attach silencers in front of you, not just to avoid attracting attention, but also to give you a chance to escape, testing your true ability.”
“If you stayed, it would mean you have other tricks up your sleeve, needing cautious handling, maybe even letting you go.”
“But if you ran…”
“It would confirm my guess.”
“You’re just a third-rate Stand User who can’t even handle ordinary people!”
As he finished, Amor shook his wrist slightly, producing a second gun from his sleeve—a micro handgun, already cocked and silenced.
In the next moment, the muzzle flashed with lethal fire.
The bullet sped through the silencer with a muffled yet unmistakable sound.
The metal projectile, swift and precise, pierced through the air and struck Lee Sin’s right kneecap dead on.
Lee Sin’s escape motion halted abruptly.
“Hmph!”
Amor glanced coldly at Lee Sin, saying:
“Baldy, you’re staying here.”
“I think the organization would be interested in a ‘Stand User’ sent to spy.”
He quickly pulled the trigger again, piercing Lee Sin’s other kneecap.
For an ordinary person, this would be the end.
However…
“Haha…”
Lee Sin laughed calmly, his expression unchanging as if he hadn’t been hurt at all.
Because at that moment, when the bullet penetrated his knee, he discovered his true power as a “player”:
“Detected combat damage to the host.”
“Data mode activated.”
“Loading hero template: Blind Monk, Lee Sin.”
His appearance didn’t change; he was still the same handsome, muscular bald young man.
But in his mind, a system interface similar to a computer game suddenly appeared:
Skill bar, experience bar, health, level.
The experience bar was empty, the level was 1, with a skill point ready to be assigned, and three skill icons flashing brightly.
There were no equipment slots, attribute boxes, or even an energy bar for the Blind Monk.
Health was displayed as a percentage, currently at 72%.
Clearly, the two bullets that pierced his knees dealt significant damage.
Fortunately, his health was slowly regenerating at a rate of 0.5% per second, seemingly able to fully recover without treatment.
At the same time, Lee Sin realized:
He had truly become the League of Legends hero, “Blind Monk, Lee Sin.”
This wasn’t a baseless delusion or a gut feeling; it was a real physical transformation.
At the moment the data mode activated, Lee Sin had gained the superpowers of the “Blind Monk”:
He…
Was blind.
