Lee Sin's Bizzare Adventure - Chapter 6
Amor worked for the most promising “company” in Italy. He had a stable, high-paying job, loyal subordinates who respected and trusted him, a gentle and virtuous wife at home, and lovely, well-behaved children.
From an ordinary person’s perspective, Amor had everything.
But…
He always felt something was missing.
What was it…
Amor had forgotten until today, when he met Lee Sin, this “Stand User,” and remembered—
A dream.
He wanted to become a Gang-star.
However, this dream was shattered when Amor officially joined the organization:
Only those with supernatural Stand abilities were qualified to become core members and challenge for a leader’s position.
Amor was just an ordinary person.
But as an ordinary person, Amor had two choices:
First, go to Naples and find the organization leader, Polpo, to take the entrance test with a rumored 99% fatality rate. If he succeeded, he could become a core member of the organization.
Second, use his skills honed in other gangs to become a low-status but well-paid, not-so-busy cleaner on the outskirts of the organization.
Fearing death, Amor gave up his dream and chose the second option.
So, he spent his days earning a salary, training subordinates, and handling corpses for the organization.
Until just now:
The bald “Stand User” saw through his last scheme and marked his arm with a “tracking light sphere.”
After the white light sphere struck, a glowing white mark appeared on his right forearm.
From his observations in the battle, he understood:
Anyone marked by this white light couldn’t escape Lee Sin’s deadly “Resonating Strike.”
Barring any surprises, today was his death day.
“Damn it…”
Amor stared at the glowing mark on his right arm, gritting his teeth and roaring:
“I joined the gang to become a Gang-star, not to haul corpses!”
“I’ve spent half my life being mediocre, and now…”
“Must I die as a lowly thug?!”
In that instant, his eyes blazed with fury.
Then, Amor quickly extended his unmarked left hand and drew a sharp dagger from his waist.
“What are you doing?”
A ripple appeared on Lee Sin’s calm face for the first time.
“Hahaha…”
Amor laughed maniacally:
“Baldy, I thought you were just a fool with Stand abilities but no tactical mind.”
“I didn’t expect you to be so surprising.”
“Good, very good…”
“This is the fight I longed for, the life I longed for!”
“So…”
Clutching the dagger, Amor screamed:
“Let me tell you, Baldy!”
“To achieve the glory of victory, you need more than brains, you need resolve—”
“The resolve to sacrifice everything!”
As soon as he finished speaking.
A sharp whistle of metal slicing through the air, a trembling metallic hum.
Lee Sin hadn’t anticipated Amor’s desperate counterattack.
The moment the “Sonic Wave” hit Amor, he had instinctively activated the second part, “Resonating Strike,” flying toward the marked spot with unstoppable force.
Then, Lee Sin finally realized what Amor had done:
He had cut off his own arm.
Using all his strength and speed, Amor severed his right forearm marked by the glowing symbol with a single swift stroke.
The blade was so fast that the forearm detached from his body in an instant.
Then…
In the splattering blood, the force of Lee Sin’s “Resonating Strike” landed on the severed arm before it hit the ground.
The impact was so strong that he crashed into a nearby alley wall, smashing the severed arm into mush.
Turning around in haste, Lee Sin faced the dark muzzle of Amor’s gun pointed squarely at his forehead.
The gun was locked on his head, making it impossible to predict and dodge the bullet’s trajectory.
“Hahahaha!”
Amor, enduring the pain of his severed arm, steadied his grip on the gun:
“As expected…”
“I was right!”
“Your dash ability locks onto the mark, not the person!”
“By cutting off the marked part, you would foolishly charge at the severed arm!”
“Now, your ‘Stand ability’ is on cooldown.”
“We’re about five or six meters apart, and I can empty my magazine before you reach me!”
“Your speed is limited, and even if your senses are sharp, how many bullets can you dodge?”
“And you…”
Amor glanced at Lee Sin’s health bar, showing only 48% left:
“With less than half your health, how many bullets can you take?”
Lee Sin remained silent, seemingly in despair.
Seeing this, Amor’s usually calm eyes filled with uncontrollable excitement and fervor:
“Boss, Boss… can you see this?!”
“I, Amor, with a mortal body, have defeated a Stand User!”
“I… I have the ability to enter the organization’s core and become a leader!”
Amor expressed his ambitions using the “explanation time stop” rule of the world. However…
Lee Sin’s calm voice responded:
“Amor, your move was indeed surprising.”
“But…”
“But what?!”
Amor felt a sense of unease.
This instinctive fear reminded him of his former self, the mediocre, cowardly middle-aged thug.
The feeling made him nauseous.
Unable to accept it, Amor roared in defiance:
“My aim won’t falter!”
“Even with one hand and immense pain, my aim won’t falter!”
“Heh.”
Lee Sin chuckled noncommittally and continued:
“But…”
“Everything you said assumes ‘my skill is on cooldown and I have no other long-range attack means.'”
“What?!”
Amor’s heart wavered again:
“Do you have another ‘Stand ability’?”
“No, I don’t.”
Lee Sin shook his head honestly:
After killing the four black-clad men, his experience bar had increased significantly.
But the experience gained was only enough to almost fill the bar, not enough to level up and gain a new skill point.
“But…”
Lee Sin smiled faintly, producing a gun as if by magic:
“Amor.”
He awkwardly aimed the gun at Amor’s twisted face, smiling:
“Before coming downstairs, I took some toys from your subordinates.”
