Marvel Infinity Talent - Chapter 208
At this moment, Slergurth felt an overwhelming sense of dread. Previously, with the boundless power of evolution, she could ignore all attacks. But now, without that power, she was vulnerable. If she endured such an attack, the forces within her would go berserk and destroy her from the inside out.
“You can’t kill me!” Slergurth shouted at Wang Yan, her voice filled with fear.
“Aren’t you supposed to be infinitely powerful, with unparalleled evolutionary strength?” Wang Yan asked, feigning surprise. “Didn’t you claim that no force used against you could harm you?”
Slergurth’s face twisted with anxiety. She couldn’t withstand the attack without the stabilizing influence of the evolutionary energy or the immense power to control the forces within her.
Unfortunately, Wang Yan had no interest in wasting more time. He gathered a formidable amount of lightning energy in his hands, which crackled around him like he was a deity.
Slergurth’s expression changed drastically. The power emanating from Wang Yan was unlike anything she had ever seen, even in her long history.
Boom!
With a single palm strike, Wang Yan unleashed a wave of golden lightning that shot toward Slergurth. The speed was so immense that she had no time to react before it struck her.
A resounding boom echoed as Slergurth’s body began to disintegrate under the overwhelming force.
“This power is several times stronger than before!” she thought, realizing that even with her evolutionary abilities, she couldn’t withstand this amplified force.
Her body, already struggling to control the chaotic energies within, was now on the brink of destruction.
“This will put you at risk too!” Slergurth screamed, hoping to appeal to Wang Yan’s self-preservation.
But Wang Yan showed no mercy. Her cells were consumed by the destructive power, leaving nothing but ashes.
The explosion’s aftermath spread, filled with Thor’s chaotic energy and lightning. The two forces clashed and merged, creating an even more terrifying power.
Wang Yan watched the spectacle, then raised his hand. The flow of the mirror dimension reversed, and he summoned the Vashanti’s Holy Sword.
Stepping forward, Wang Yan slashed through the converging energies, separating them with a single strike.
He sighed with relief as the two forces were contained within his power, forming two pure energy spheres for future use.
“You’re strong, but without your own power, you are ultimately nothing,” Wang Yan remarked, shaking his head.
The mirror dimension faded, revealing Klebren still seated on his throne, seemingly unaffected by the recent events.
“It seems you have defeated Slergurth,” Klebren noted his expression grave. “You are indeed powerful.”
Wang Yan, surprised by Klebren’s calm demeanor, suspected the Skrull deity had more tricks up his sleeve.
“I’ll give you one last chance,” Klebren offered. “Submit to me, and I will let you live.”
“Submit? Do you think that’s possible?” Wang Yan replied, his voice laced with mockery. He conjured the Vashanti’s Holy Sword once more.
Klebren sighed in disappointment. “You don’t understand. I have slept for centuries, and during that time, I was not just dormant; I was evolving.”
He shook his head, recalling how he awakened to find his people attacked by the Kree and sought refuge on Earth.
“I sought to reclaim Earth not just to conquer it, but to send a message to the Kree: I have returned,” Klebren continued, his body transforming as he absorbed the energy of the Cosmic Cube.
His muscles bulged, and his form grew more imposing. However, Wang Yan, having already faced Thanos, remained unfazed.
“You’re not the first powerful being I’ve encountered,” Wang Yan thought, preparing to strike.
Suddenly, a booming voice echoed outside.
“Skrulls, you dare to deceive me? You will pay the price!”
Recognizing the voice, Wang Yan knew it was Thor.
Having not yet faced Thanos or experienced significant loss, Thor remained at the peak of his power, brimming with rage.
Boom!
The building shook as a massive axe crashed down, shattering the ceiling and revealing the sky above. The Stormbreaker flew back into Thor’s hand, who stood in the air, surrounded by lightning.
“Are you the Skrull deity? I will destroy you!” Thor roared, his Stormbreaker glowing with fierce energy.
He hadn’t noticed Wang Yan, focusing solely on avenging his captivity as he swung the Stormbreaker, the room filled with the roar of thunder and lightning.
Boom!
Despite the tremendous power, Klebren stood unharmed, not even scratched.
“Thunder may be powerful, but to me, it is merely a tickle,” Klebren taunted. “True evolution is eternal.”
Thor, stunned, didn’t hesitate. He attacked again, his Stormbreaker slicing through the air.
Klebren, no longer passive, clenched his fist and met Thor’s strike head-on.
Confident in his Asgardian strength, Thor was shocked when Klebren’s punch sent him flying, crashing into the ground.
“How can you possess such power?” Thor gasped, struggling to comprehend his opponent’s immense strength.
