Marvel Infinity Talent - Chapter 210
Klebren shattered the magical shield, sending countless magical runes into the air. In this moment, Klebren felt invincible.
“Yes, this is my true power!” Klebren roared with madness, watching Wang Yan retreat. He finally felt his overwhelming strength, believing that even Wang Yan was unable to withstand him.
His enormous fists now bore bone-like spikes, further amplifying his strength. The air grew heavy like a mountain was pressing down on them.
“Earthling, do you regret it now?” Klebren’s voice boomed as he looked down at Wang Yan.
Wang Yan steadied himself, shaking his head. “Your strength has indeed increased, but I’m just a sorcerer,” he said with a hint of helplessness.
Thor, standing afar, was astonished by Wang Yan’s words. This guy finally remembered he was a sorcerer and shouldn’t have been physically confronting Klebren.
Wang Yan gathered his powerful magical energy and struck the ground with his palm. Scarlet chains burst from the alloy floor, wrapping around Klebren’s arms, legs, body, and neck. With a flash of his eyes, Wang Yan pulled the chains, dragging Klebren to the ground with a resounding crash.
Klebren’s immense strength was rendered useless as the chains squeezed and crushed him. Despite its formidable resilience, his body began to crumble under pressure, only to regenerate rapidly in an endless cycle of destruction and healing.
Thor watched with mixed emotions. He had always known Wang Yan’s magic was powerful, but seeing it in action against Klebren made him realize he had underestimated the sorcerer. Despite Klebren’s immense physical power, he was immobilized by a single spell.
Thor’s respect for Wang Yan grew. As the newly crowned king of Asgard, Thor had been strengthening his powers, striving to match his father’s legacy. But now he saw that while he had been growing stronger, Wang Yan had been advancing even faster.
Klebren, for all his vitality and strength, was helpless against Wang Yan’s magic. The scarlet chains continued to squeeze and crush his body, his bones audibly cracking under the pressure.
“Is he dead?” Thor wondered aloud, seeing Klebren’s still form. But Wang Yan’s calm demeanor suggested otherwise.
Sure enough, a loud cracking sound heralded Klebren’s return. A larger, more formidable form emerged from the crushed remains, free from the chains.
“As the god of the Skrulls, is this all the power you have?” Wang Yan remarked. “If so, the Skrulls are doomed to extinction.”
Wang Yan’s words were not mere threats. While Slergurth had been a formidable opponent with her blend of magical and physical prowess, Klebren relied solely on brute force.
Klebren, though recovering, seethed with rage. “You are strong, sorcerer, but this is my domain!”
“Your domain or not, it makes no difference,” Wang Yan retorted. “Let us go, and end this.”
Klebren’s rage only intensified. “Very well!” He grew larger, his body transforming into a giant over ten meters tall, covered in bone spikes. The ground buckled under his weight as he launched himself at Wang Yan with incredible speed.
“Such speed and power!” Thor exclaimed, realizing the true extent of Klebren’s strength. But Wang Yan was ready, summoning the Shield of Seraphim to block Klebren’s blow.
The collision sent a shockwave rippling outwards, forcing even Thor to stagger back. Despite his strength, Thor knew he couldn’t withstand Klebren’s full force.
The shield began to crack under the pressure, shattering into fragments. Thor, seeing this, feared for Wang Yan’s safety.
“Time for you to die!” Klebren declared, his face contorted in a triumphant grin. But just as he prepared to strike, Wang Yan vanished, reappearing in a flash of purple light.
With a swift slash of the Sword of Vishanti, Wang Yan severed Klebren’s arm, sending it flying. The severed limb disintegrated into pure energy, leaving Klebren pale and retreating.
Klebren’s arm began to regenerate, sprouting new tissue rapidly. Thor watched in horror, realizing the extent of Klebren’s regenerative powers.
Wang Yan, undeterred, knew he had to obliterate Klebren, leaving not a single cell intact. Summoning the power of Chaos Lightning, he prepared his next move.
“Human, your power is impressive, but how long can you sustain this?” Klebren mocked, eyeing the Sword of Vishanti. He underestimated Wang Yan’s magical reserves, thinking him no different from other sorcerers who would have long exhausted their power.
“Join me, and together we can conquer the universe,” Klebren offered one last time.
“I think you should just die,” Wang Yan replied calmly. “Explode!”
