Marvel Infinity Talent - Chapter 211
After multiple clashes with Wang Yan, Klebren’s initial disdain for the Earthling had transformed into shock. He never would have believed that a mere human could give him such trouble—until he met Wang Yan.
Now, despite their encounters, neither could easily defeat the other. Klebren saw the potential for an alliance that could help conquer the universe.
“You still refuse to join me? Such disappointment. Do you really think you can defeat me?” Klebren asked, his voice tinged with frustration.
At that moment, two forces converged before him, too late for him to react. A wave of destructive energy spread, causing Klebren’s mighty form to disintegrate.
With a series of cracks and slashes, countless pieces of flesh scattered. The terrifying power threw Thor against a wall, and even Wang Yan had to summon the Shield of Seraphim to block the explosion.
The blast lasted awhile, leaving the alloy structures around them in ruins. Skrulls nearby emerged from their homes to see their revered temple in shambles.
“What’s happening?”
“Impossible! How could our temple be attacked? Who would dare?”
“What’s going on?”
The Skrulls were bewildered, unable to comprehend what had happened to their sacred place.
Inside the temple, Thor felt the energy weakening. As the shockwaves subsided, the remnants of Klebren’s form vanished, leaving behind a scene of utter destruction. The alloy ground was torn open, revealing the earth beneath, and the walls were riddled with holes.
“Is he dead? Wang Yan, you’re amazing!” Thor exclaimed, realizing the importance of eradicating a regenerating foe. With no trace of flesh left, it seemed impossible for Klebren to return.
“I’m afraid… he isn’t,” Wang Yan said with a frown.
Despite Klebren’s apparent destruction, a more substantial, more menacing presence emerged.
“Not dead?” Thor was incredulous. How could someone survive such complete obliteration?
Before Thor could question further, the ground began to quake violently. The shaking was intense, making the already damaged temple tremble.
“What’s happening?” Thor asked, confused by the sudden tremors.
“Let’s go!” Wang Yan grabbed Thor and pulled him from the building. As they flew out, the grand structure collapsed, and something massive began to emerge from the rubble.
“What is that?” Thor asked, seeing something struggling to break free.
A gigantic tentacle burst out, reaching for Wang Yan and Thor.
“Look out!” Thor warned, but Wang Yan deftly evaded the attack.
More tentacles followed, and a grotesque mass of flesh began forming. The sight repulsed Thor.
“Is that thing Klebren?” Thor asked, disgusted.
The monstrous entity resembled a grotesque flower, with countless tentacles and a hollow center where a figure emerged—Klebren, fused with the flesh.
“Did someone truly manage to destroy my body and awaken my true form? Impressive,” Klebren’s voice echoed.
“None who see my true form fail to submit! Feel the power of my godhood!” Klebren declared, looking at Wang Yan and Thor.
“Is this abomination really the true form of the Skrull god?” Thor was shocked, never having encountered such a horrific creature.
Klebren’s tentacles extended toward them with terrifying speed, but Wang Yan effortlessly dodged.
“You’re disgusting, and too slow!” Thor said, relieved to have Wang Yan’s protection.
“You fools don’t understand the strength of my divine form!” Klebren roared, emitting a cacophony of screams, prayers, and wails that echoed in their minds.
“Shut up!” Thor shouted, irritated by the noise.
Wang Yan, equally annoyed, cast a spell to block out the sound. He knew the noise could drive anyone mad.
Klebren’s form began to emit an eerie, holy light, transforming his presence from malevolent to seemingly divine.
Wang Yan noticed Thor’s expression change to one of admiration. Quickly, he pulled Thor into the Mirror Dimension to shield him from Klebren’s influence.
Skrulls outside the temple fell to their knees, worshipping Klebren as if he were a divine being.
“Now I see why you have such vitality. You drain the life force from your followers,” Wang Yan realized, seeing the energy lines connecting Klebren to the Skrulls.
Klebren’s power came from the countless lives he had absorbed, making him a truly evil entity.
“This is troubling,” Wang Yan admitted, realizing Klebren’s immense power was derived from the energy of his followers.
Klebren, bathed in white light, proclaimed his divinity. “Feel my power! I am a god, omnipotent and eternal!”
Klebren’s form grew more monstrous, his tentacles writhing like countless demons.
“I pity your people for worshipping a god like you,” Wang Yan said, recognizing the danger of such misplaced faith. Klebren’s madness was fueled by his followers’ devotion, leading them all to ruin.
