Marvel Infinity Talent - Chapter 212
On the Skrull’s home planet, a massive, flesh-like body with countless writhing tentacles was causing chaos. Even as the city was destroyed, the Skrulls continued to revere their god-like figure, showing no signs of resistance or fear.
Watching this, Wang Yan frowned. It was clear that today’s confrontation wouldn’t end peacefully. More importantly, Klebren had mutated entirely, and the Skrulls seemed to willingly serve as his source of energy.
“This is true power! No one can stop me!” Klebren shouted, his madness evident as his tentacles flailed wildly. His voice reverberated, and his immense energy made the ground tremble.
Encased in a white aura, Klebren’s severed tentacles rapidly regenerated, making any damage he suffered inconsequential.
“You are too weak for me now! Everything you do is useless; my power and my flesh are limitless!” Klebren taunted Wang Yan, looking at him with disdain as if he were an insignificant insect.
Wang Yan’s mind was a whirlwind of thoughts. He had underestimated Klebren’s strength, and the current situation far exceeded his expectations. Klebren continued to evolve, revealing his full power after years of accumulation.
“I wonder how the other sorcerers are doing with rescuing the Avengers,” Wang Yan thought, sensing Klebren’s powerful mental influence over the Skrulls. With most of the Skrull forces preoccupied, the sorcerers and Avengers should easily escape.
Indeed, his powerful mental perception confirmed that the Avengers were being rescued and transported back to Earth. Only Thor had managed to escape and reach the Skrull temple.
“You cannot escape. You will merge with me. If you won’t submit, you will become part of me!” Klebren declared as he began absorbing nearby Skrulls, growing more robust and more grotesque.
“What a sight. No one can resist merging with me. Not even you!” Klebren’s countless tentacles shot towards Wang Yan, who deftly dodged.
“Why do you bother dodging? How long can you keep it up?” Klebren’s voice boomed as millions of tentacles swarmed Wang Yan.
Wang Yan’s eyes widened in shock. Gathering his magical energy, he cast the Shield of Seraphim. The powerful barrier enveloped him, but the relentless assault of tentacles caused it to crack and splinter.
“You will become one with me!” Klebren’s voice echoed, his overwhelming power crushing Wang Yan’s shield.
Despite the strength of the Shield of Seraphim, it began to fracture under Klebren’s immense force.
“You can’t resist. Just give in,” Klebren urged, eager to absorb Wang Yan’s power and spread his influence across the universe.
As the shield shattered, Klebren’s tentacles enveloped Wang Yan, attempting to absorb his energy. But Wang Yan’s form dissolved into countless butterflies, slipping through the tentacles and flying away.
Left behind were two spheres of energy: one brimming with chaos, the other with lightning—remnants of the power left by Slegrult. These energies were potent, even beyond Klebren’s understanding.
Driven by instinct, Klebren tried to absorb the energy but found it impossible. The two energies began to merge, creating an explosive force that erupted, tearing apart his tentacles.
“What is this power?!” Klebren exclaimed as the destructive force decimated his flesh.
The ground beneath them crumbled, and a chasm formed. Wang Yan, now reconstituted, watched calmly from above. He had planned to destroy the planet’s core, knowing that only a cataclysmic event could eradicate Klebren’s regenerative power.
The planet began to fracture, and massive cracks spread across its surface. Mountains, oceans, and cities were all consumed by the destruction. A black hole-like void formed at its center as the planet exploded, swallowing everything.
Klebren’s cries echoed as the explosion consumed him. The implosion created a singularity, absorbing all matter and energy, leaving only a tiny black point in space, a void that consumed even light.
Wang Yan watched solemnly. He hadn’t wanted to annihilate the planet and its inhabitants, but Klebren’s union with it had left him no choice. The rescue of the Avengers had allowed him to take this drastic step.
Just as he prepared to leave, Wang Yan sensed a formidable presence emanating from the singularity. The energy was growing, not dissipating—a clear sign of something powerful entering their universe.
“This power…”
Wang Yan’s expression changed, feeling a hint of dread. The black point expanded into a spatial rift, suggesting that an entity of immense power was forcing its way through.
Who or what could harness such a force? Only a few beings in the universe had that capability. Who was coming this time?
