Marvel Infinity Talent - Chapter 261
Not only was Captain Marvel shocked at this moment, but the agents of S.W.O.R.D. on Earth’s orbit were also stunned when they saw the Celestial Order members merge into a gigantic form. They felt like mere ants in the presence of this terrifying entity.
In the eyes of ordinary people, Captain Marvel might already be mighty, capable of extraordinary feats. However, to Wang Yang and the Judge, only deities could match them in battle; Captain Marvel was insignificant.
The Judge, filled with confidence, didn’t hesitate to strike at Wang Yang, hoping to kill him with a single blow. Despite his reduced size, his power remained immense. He believed that his strength was unchanged even though his body had shrunk.
After merging with the other Celestial Order members, he gained their powers and divine gifts, mastering cosmic energy. Wang Yang, having to balance this power to suppress the Judge’s body, would inevitably be unable to withstand his full strength.
As the Judge approached Wang Yang, he raised his hand, releasing a transparent ripple—the Eradicator’s power. This force eradicated any physical matter, different from the annihilating power of destruction; it permanently removed objects from existence.
This eradication force, combined with cosmic energy, became even more potent. A transparent wave surged toward Wang Yang, causing everything in its path to vanish. Wang Yang, seeing this, stepped back in shock and raised his hand to summon the Seraphim Shield.
The Judge, seeing the shield, smirked. He believed the Earth sorcerer wouldn’t withstand this force and would vanish along with his shield. Even if Wang Yang managed to block it, he would still be gravely injured, giving the Judge a significant advantage.
The transparent wave hit Wang Yang’s shield, and for a moment, Wang Yang felt an immense pressure on his body. Then, cosmic energy spread from him, and the transparent wave vanished upon contact with the shield as if it had met its nemesis.
Wang Yang was surprised; he had expected this force to be powerful, warranting the use of the Seraphim Shield. Yet, the wave disappeared instantly upon touching the shield.
He realized that this was a confrontation between divine powers. Although he wasn’t an actual deity, the power of the Underworld God had integrated into him, making him a second-generation Underworld God. Though significant, the Celestial Order’s divine power couldn’t compare to the Underworld God’s.
The Judge, wide-eyed in disbelief, watched as Wang Yang remained unaffected. His shield was intact, and his powerful magic showed no signs of impact.
“Could this Earth sorcerer have become a god, gaining divine power?” the Judge wondered but quickly dismissed the thought. It was impossible for someone so young to have accumulated the necessary experience and training to become a god.
In a high-level battle, the Judge dared to be distracted, which Wang Yang noticed. Seeing the Judge’s momentary lapse, Wang Yang didn’t hesitate to strike. The Seraphim Shield disappeared, and Wang Yang summoned the Holy Sword of Vishanti with one hand and cast a crimson chain with the other, sending it toward the Judge.
The crimson chains wrapped around the Judge despite his quick reaction. He surrounded himself with golden light, forming a protective barrier. Just then, Wang Yang flew in, slashing at the golden shield with his purple sword.
The Judge, though trapped, remained confident. “Even if you can withstand my power, you can’t kill me,” he taunted, believing his defenses impenetrable.
However, cracks appeared in the golden shield where the sword struck, spreading outward. The immense force seemed ready to pierce the shield, reaching the Judge’s body and bypassing his armor.
“This… a mere human has such terrifying power!” the Judge exclaimed, unable to hide his shock. This wasn’t the strength of an ordinary human sorcerer. The force directly impacted his body, causing pain and discomfort.
The Judge’s eyes glowed as his shield shattered, releasing a powerful energy wave. Wang Yang was thrown back by the force, crashing into the ground.
“A mere human sorcerer, how can you fight a god? Our powers are worlds apart. I am a god, and you are just a mortal!” the Judge proclaimed. His chains were torn apart, and Wang Yang was sent flying.
“Your magic is powerful, but it cannot defeat a god. If you surrender, I might spare you,” the Judge offered, confident despite Wang Yang’s impressive display.
“Your defenses are indeed strong, but now you have no shield,” Wang Yang said calmly. The Judge felt a sudden chill as countless crimson chains emerged behind him, wrapping around his body.
