Hawking felt relieved to see Apocalypse use a force field to block the Kamehameha instead of absorbing its energy.

This battle would be much harder if Apocalypse had the same abilities as the Black King.

The Black King could absorb the energy of a nuclear bomb, even converting physical attacks into energy.

His only weakness was low mental defense, ultimately leading to his death at the hands of Magneto after being immobilized by Professor X.

The Apocalypse’s use of a force field instead of absorbing the Kamehameha suggests that the Kamehameha’s energy output exceeded his absorption rate.

“Let’s try close combat and magic.”

Seeing the Kamehameha didn’t work, Hawking grabbed his Adamantium staff and charged at Apocalypse.

Sensing the strength of the energy wave, Hawking split into several afterimages to confuse Apocalypse.

The energy wave shot through the afterimages, hitting a distant hill outside the city.

“Boom!”

With a loud explosion, the hill vanished, leaving a massive crater that stunned countless people watching on TV.

Apocalypse’s power was terrifying.

“Die!”

Dodging the energy wave, Hawking appeared behind Apocalypse, thrusting his staff like a spear towards Apocalypse’s back.

He aimed to pierce Apocalypse’s back and release magic from within, just like he had done against Venom.

However, Apocalypse’s eyes suddenly turned white, using an ability to enhance his reaction speed. He turned and caught the Adamantium staff with one hand.

“The one who will die is you, insect!”

Apocalypse’s body glowed again, preparing to release another energy wave at close range, giving Hawking no room to dodge.

“Not as easy as I thought!”

Seeing his attack strategy exposed, Hawking wasn’t surprised.

In the movie, Apocalypse could see through Quicksilver’s attacks at his peak, so it wasn’t shocking he saw through this.

He was surprised at Apocalypse’s immense strength, catching his full-power thrust with one hand, suggesting he had absorbed many strength-based mutant abilities.

“Avada Kedavra!”

As Apocalypse prepared to release the energy wave, Hawking cast the Killing Curse.

A green light shot from the Adamantium staff, hitting Apocalypse.

If Apocalypse didn’t hold the staff, Hawking would have pierced him and released the spell from within. Since he held it, the staff’s tip was close to his chest, making it impossible for him to dodge the Killing Curse.

The Killing Curse bypassed any energy defense, directly harming the soul. He doubted Apocalypse could resist it.

“Ah!”

Hit by the Killing Curse, Apocalypse screamed, interrupting the energy wave and activating his force field.

“Avada Kedavra!”

Seeing the curse was effective, Hawking, forced back by the force field, cast it again.

The green curse pierced the field, making Apocalypse scream a second time.

“Avada Kedavra!”

A third curse followed.

Despite his immensely powerful soul from thousands of consciousness transfers, repeated hits from the Killing Curse would kill him.

“Not a chance!”

Apocalypse abandoned the force field and used his super reflexes to dodge the third curse.

“Dodge one, but can you dodge five thousand?”

Seeing Apocalypse evade the curse, Hawking stopped holding back and made a hand sign.

“Multi-Shadow Clone Jutsu!”

Over five thousand golden-armoured Hawking clones surrounded Apocalypse in the sky above Cairo.
