Marvel: Randomly Load a Protagonist Template - Chapter 79
“Hey, Hawking and I also contracted with your Mount Myoboku.”
Hawking floated in front of the great toad Gamabunta, greeting him cheerfully.
He couldn’t help but be cheerful, now channeling Naruto’s sunny disposition, which naturally influenced his tone and gestures.
“Hawking? Kid, you’re not trying to fool me with some transformation technique, are you?” Gamabunta puffed out a giant smoke ring, his eyes filled with suspicion.
Aside from having a different face, this kid resembled Naruto, making it hard for him to believe this wasn’t Naruto.
After all, Mount Myoboku hadn’t signed any contract with someone named Hawking.
“Big Toad, I’m not Naruto, or at least not entirely.”
Hawking spread his hands.
Regarding his identity, he planned not to hide it from Gamabunta, as it would inevitably come out.
The worlds were different, and these toads weren’t fools; eventually, if he used them in battle, it would become evident. It is better to clear up any confusion beforehand.
Moreover, having successfully summoned Gamabunta, he now wondered whether this meant Mount Myoboku existed at the hour he was in this world.
If it did exist, could he learn the Sage Mode from Naruto by summoning himself to Mount Myoboku?
And if Mount Myoboku did exist, where was it? In the Marvel world or the Naruto world?
If it was in the Naruto world, could he, during this loaded hour, use Mount Myoboku as a gateway to enter the Naruto world briefly?
And the Nine-Tails inside him, was it a clone, or was it transferred directly from Naruto? During this loaded hour, were the Nine-Tails still inside Naruto?
Could he meet Naruto at Mount Myoboku to learn more jutsu from him, and what would be the differences in time between the two worlds?
Many questions and many doubts.
He decided to be transparent with Gamabunta to avoid misunderstandings that could disrupt their cooperation.
“Kid, what do you mean by you’re not entirely Naruto?”
Gamabunta was confused by Hawking’s explanation.
Hawking, sitting cross-legged in mid-air, explained:
“This is a long story, but in short, this isn’t the Shinobi world, but another world.
And I’ve accidentally obtained an extraordinary power that gives me abilities and memories similar to Naruto’s for an hour.
So, that’s why I said I’m not entirely Naruto, do you get it?”
“Kid, what are you talking about?”
After hearing Hawking’s story, Gamabunta was utterly bewildered.
“Looks like Gamabunta isn’t too bright, but then, this isn’t easily understood by anyone.”
Hawking thought for a moment and then said:
“For now, go back to Mount Myoboku and check if my name is on the summoning contract, then discuss today’s events with the other toad sages. I’ll summon you again at the same time tomorrow.”
Gamabunta’s large size, though chosen for a location far from the city, could still eventually attract attention and make headlines.
This would also help verify some of his guesses.
If he could summon Gamabunta again tomorrow at the same time, and it also passed a day for him, it would mean their times were synchronized. If only a few minutes had passed, it could mean time during the load was synchronized, but not otherwise.
This would also help verify whether Mount Myoboku was genuinely connected to the Shinobi world or if it appeared independently.
“Hey, Gamabunta, I’m Hawking, another contractor with your Mount Myoboku.”
Hawking hovered in front of the great toad, giving him a cheerful greeting.
Due to the template, he had to maintain a sunny demeanor, now infused with Naruto’s characteristics, which affected his tone and gestures.
“Hawking? Kid, you aren’t using some transformation technique to fool me, are you?” Gamabunta puffed out a ring of smoke, skepticism in his eyes.
This kid looked like Naruto in many ways, making it hard for Gamabunta to believe he wasn’t Naruto, especially since Mount Myoboku hadn’t signed a contract with anyone named Hawking.
“Big Toad, I’m not Naruto, or rather, not entirely.”
Hawking shrugged.
He didn’t plan to conceal his identity from Gamabunta because it would become evident eventually.
