Marvel Rise of Lord God - Chapter 27
After Alice spoke, Jiraiya’s hostility towards her decreased slightly.
In his view, Alice didn’t seem to be targeting Naruto, but this could also be part of her act, so he couldn’t fully let his guard down yet.
Once Jiraiya and the others had left, Alice finally had the chance to review the information she had detected.

Jiraiya’s detected attributes weren’t low, but Alice wasn’t shocked by these numbers; even just from the visible attributes, Alice surpassed this man.
What surprised her was seeing such attributes in a pervy old man who peeped into women’s baths. If this village was so large and filled with similar individuals, there must be at least hundreds, if not thousands, like him.
Considering this, Alice estimated that her overall combat ability might not even rank in the top hundred, given that within just a few hours of arriving, she had encountered powerful beings like the Nine-Tails and Jiraiya.
Relieved that she hadn’t carelessly used her detection ability, Alice thought they might have started making enemies everywhere right from the start of the mission.
After reviewing the attribute table, Alice sent the attributes she had detected to the team channel.
“Everyone, the danger level in this world may be very high. I just detected a pervy old man who was peeping into a women’s bath, and his numbers are already quite alarming. We should keep a low profile during our investigation to avoid any mishaps.
A few seconds later, Ajie’s reply popped up.
“Agreed, this village runs deep. A friend I just made is firm, and I have a feeling that if he goes all out, I might not be able to beat him. Plus, I asked him, and he’s just a Jounin, and there are several levels above him.”
Ajie replied while Guy headed to the hospital.
“I understand, I’ll be careful. By the way, how do I use the detection skill? Do I need to go back to the main god space to learn?” Tony immediately responded.
“Intelligence reaches a certain threshold, and it will activate automatically, but that’s inefficient. In the main god space, there are basic scrolls for this kind of skill, and they’re not expensive. You can learn it when you get back,” Ajie replied to Tony.
At that moment, Tony was standing on a mountaintop, from where he could easily overlook the village below.
His armor had transformed into a shoulder guard on Tony, and they were collaborating to collect physical information about the entire village.
To ensure his safety, Tony dispersed all the detectors he could send out. These devices would alert him if someone approached.
These detectors were a combination of three types of detection devices: optical, thermal, and electromagnetic. If someone could evade all three, then Tony was ready to admit defeat.
As the sun slowly set, Ajie and Guy hopped across rooftops and arrived at the hospital.
With Guy leading, Ajie smoothly passed through the hospital’s ninja-guarded entrance.
They hurried to Rock Lee’s room, pushed open the door, and found it empty.
“Doctor! Doctor!” The guy panicked and called out loudly.
A nurse hurried over, “What’s wrong? What’s happening?”
“Where is he?” Guy pointed to the room, “The person who was in this room?”
The nurse peeked inside; indeed, Rock Lee was not there.
She sighed and looked at Guy, “I’ve told you, you instructors need to keep an eye on your students. He’s been severely injured yet has run out several times already.”
“Run out? Where to?” The guy was stunned. Had Lee been frequently running out during this period?
“Downstairs
In the courtyard, he’s definitely there doing push-ups. I’ve told him many times his body isn’t ready to resume training. That will only worsen his injuries!” the nurse said sternly.
The three of them went to the hospital courtyard, where Lee, bandaged all over, was doing push-ups with his less injured arm.
“Two hundred one-handed push-ups! If not completed, then one hundred one-handed handstands as punishment!” Lee, enduring the pain, encouraged himself.
Swoosh, Guy suddenly darted out, jumping next to Lee, tears brimming in his eyes, but he didn’t disturb Lee’s training.
Ajie waved at the nurse, signaling her to go on with her duties. The nurse looked at them curiously. She didn’t want to leave, but the hospital was understaffed.
“Call us if anything happens, and make him stop training!”
Ajie nodded, knowing it was one thing. Doing it was another. He continued to watch.
“One hundred…ninety…nine…” Lee squeezed out the last bit of strength from his body, striving to meet his target.
“Come on! Come on! Just the last one left!” Guy was frantically cheering Lee on from the side.
“Two…hundred!”
After the final push-up, Lee’s arm instantly lost all strength, and he collapsed forward.
The guy caught Lee in his arms.
“Coach Guy, I did it…” Lee’s face was flushed, and he was sweating profusely as he looked up at Guy.
“Lee!!! This is youth!” Guy shouted, tears involuntarily flowing from his eyes.
Ajie was also somewhat moved, seeing his past self in Lee.
After being created by Chi Yun to harness the power within his body and maximize his potential, Ajie practiced almost frantically, extending his training sessions to the extreme.
However, what was different for him compared to Lee was that he had a main god standing behind him; no matter how much he trained or got injured, he wouldn’t end up like Lee.
Ajie slowly walked over to Guy’s side, crouching down with a particularly gentle tone, “Guy, can I take a look at him?”
Guy nodded, “Lee, this is my friend. He might be able to help you recover.”
“Don’t worry, Coach Guy! I will always trust you!” Lee moved to tears and sincerely appreciated how much Guy was trying to help him heal.
Moved as he was, the silliness that Lee and Guy exuded together made Ajie feel a bit speechless.
