Marvel Rise of Lord God - Chapter 28
When Ajie placed his hand on Rock Lee, the energy from his body flowed through the contact point into Lee, scanning him from head to toe.
“How is it? Is there a way?” Guy looked at Ajie expectantly, hoping for a positive answer.
Facing the gazes of Guy and Lee, Ajie confidently nodded, “It’s not a big issue, just a comminuted fracture. However, we need to choose a treatment plan.”
“Treatment plan?” Guy said incredulously, unable to believe that Ajie could address the injury the entire village couldn’t solve with several options.
After they moved Lee back to bed, Ajie and Guy went up to the hospital roof as the sun set behind the hills.
“Guy, I’ve thought about it for a while and have about three options. You are his coach, and you choose first,” Ajie said, leaning against the wall.
“Tell me, I’ll take responsibility!” Guy asserted, sitting down.
“First, the energy I cultivate is different from your chakra; it has strong regenerative properties. Just by nurturing Lee for a while, he can naturally recover.”
The guy was silent; he knew Ajie had more to say.
“However, the consequence of this method is that Lee’s chakra might completely disappear. His injury is closely linked to his chakra, and to ensure a high success rate, we must first dissipate his chakra.”
Hearing this, Guy’s thick eyebrows knitted together, “Does that mean Lee has to refine his chakra from scratch?”
Ajie nodded, “Don’t rush. This is just the first method. Second, I have a friend who is a mechanic.”
“A mechanic?”
“Think of it as someone who makes all kinds of high-end machinery,” Ajie referred to Tony, “You can’t heal Lee because chakra can’t perfectly repair every fracture. With his help, it’s much easier, but accordingly, Lee’s underlying injuries will still exist, and this injury will affect his future potential.”
Guy fell into deep thought, weighing the options between starting from scratch and reducing future potential.
Ajie continued.
“The third option involves another friend of mine who has a special virus that can revive the dead. It’s uncertain if it’ll work on Lee, and it might cause mutations if used.”
After hearing all the options, Guy was at a loss.
After a moment of thought, Guy looked up, “Let’s let Lee decide. I believe he can make the right choice.”
Ajie grinned, guessing Guy would say, “Don’t rush. I’ve told them about the situation here, and they’ll come over soon.”
“Let’s first talk to Lee. Give him some time to prepare,” Guy said, pulling Ajie back to Lee’s room.
After understanding the treatment options, Lee looked at Guy, hoping for advice.
“Lee! You must make your own decisions in life! Believe in yourself!” Guy held Lee’s hand and shouted, “Youth is never perfect! We must accept it!”
“What’s all this noise? Don’t others need to rest?” A nurse opened the door and glared at Guy.
Guy apologetically continued to apologize. Although he was a Jounin, doctors and nurses held the highest authority in the hospital.
“I choose the first option!” After howling with Guy, Lee decisively spoke, “I believe that with enough effort, I can recover everything!”
“Lee!”
“Coach Guy!”
As they spoke, the two hugged again.
Ajie, holding his head, stood to the side, feeling relatively average compared to these two.
Knock, knock…
The door opened again, and Alice and Tony stood at the entrance. “Is Ajie here?”
“You’re here? The patient is this one. Please take a look. And I need to step out for some fresh air,” Ajie said hurriedly, pulling them in and then leaving.
Tony and Alice exchanged glances, puzzled by what Ajie was doing.
But since they were here, they decided to check on the patient first, perhaps fulfilling the precondition for joining the Leaf Village.
“Hello, may I see the patient first?” Alice approached Guy and asked.
Guy quickly grabbed a chair and offered, “Please, take a seat.”
Sitting down, Alice bent her head to look at Lee, who was wrapped in bandages. “It might be uncomfortable in a bit. Just bear with it,” she warned.
Lee nodded.
Alice’s powerful psychic energy surged from her body, causing her hair to flutter in the air.
Her psychic energy performed a thorough scan of Lee’s body, and the more she scanned, the worse her expression became.
Lee’s current physical condition was frightening; not even a collision with a heavy truck would result in such damage.
His bones were breaking from the inside, and his muscles as well, as if a giant monster had burst out of his body. Alice also noticed something unusual.
After the examination, Alice looked at Tony.
Tony waved his hand, and his drone transformed into a treatment scanner, a mode he had specifically added before coming.
Jarvis quickly scanned Lee and projected the images onto Tony’s glasses.
This injury was far worse than when terrorists held Tony. With this comprehensive scan, Tony observed what Alice had noticed.
“How is it?” Guy asked quietly.
“Um… We need to discuss this, and please wait here for us,” Tony said as he pulled Alice out the door.
After regrouping with Ajie, Tony found a corner.
“Ajie, I’ve found a problem,” Tony said thoughtfully.
“What’s the problem? Does Lee have internal injuries?” Ajie scratched his head.
“No, his injuries aren’t the main issue. Like you mentioned in the channel, all three of us could help him recover.”
Tony shook his head, continuing, “I discovered that Lee seems to be infected with a plant spore. It’s not clear yet whether this parasitism is benign or malignant.”
“Spores?” Ajie thought for a moment, “Isn’t that his injury? My treatment plan was going to clear the spores as well, but the chakra is tightly linked with the spores, so he’ll definitely need to retrain.”
“You’re mistaken,” Alice interjected.
“I can sense that those spores belong to another life form, though currently in a strange state. Lee’s consciousness remains dominant, but according to my examination, his chakra is also due to the presence of the spores.”
“So, if we remove that thing, not only will the chakra disappear, but Lee’s ability to extract chakra will also disappear.”
Hearing their explanations, Ajie was quite surprised.
“Actually, don’t you think that spore resembles your T-virus?” Tony looked at Alice.
“Exactly,” Alice nodded, “But with the help of the Main God space, the T-virus has completely integrated into my genetic sequence, becoming a true part of my body. It’s different for Lee.”
“I feel like we’ve stumbled upon something extraordinary,” Ajie said, glancing towards Lee’s room as they spoke.
