Marvel Rise of Lord God - Chapter 29
The Main God Space timely announced the discovery of a side quest titled “The Truth About Chakra,” prompting Ajie and his companions to change the topic subtly.
“What treatment options did you find?” Ajie asked.
“There’s no way around it; his injuries are linked to the spores, and any effective treatment would require removing them, which means he would no longer be able to be a ninja,” Alice said, clearly troubled.
“Do you think he fits the role of a ninja?” Ajie pondered.
“What do you mean?” Tony turned to Ajie, sensing he might have an alternative idea.
“If we replace his chakra with qi, wouldn’t he essentially be a martial artist?” Ajie’s eyes lit up. “With the right training, I believe Lee could become even stronger than he was before.”
“That’s a good point, but are you sure Lee would agree? We need to consider how the rest of the world might view him. He is still just a kid, after all,” Tony voiced his concerns.
“You’re missing the point,” Ajie countered. “Children raised in times of war aren’t the same as those who grow up in peace. Plus, how can we know for sure without asking him?”
“Alright, I’ll go along with your plan,” Tony sighed, resigned to the grim realities of their world.
Alice remained silent, reflecting on her views that Lee was already fortunate; his world hadn’t faced an apocalyptic crisis like hers had.
After their discussion, the trio returned to the hospital room, where Lee awaited their decision.
“Guy, Lee,” Ajie began thoughtfully, “I have bad news. If we proceed, you won’t be able to become a ninja in the future. Your chakra would completely disappear from your body.”
“How can this be…” Lee clenched his fists, wrinkling the bedsheet.
“Lee, don’t worry! There’s still a chance. If we can find Tsunade, there’s still hope,” Guy said, trying to calm himself as much as Lee, squeezing his hand.
Lee stayed silent; Tsunade had been missing for a long time, and prolonging his condition would moot even her help.
“Don’t rush, Guy,” Ajie said, patting him on the shoulder and stepping forward to look at Lee directly.
“Lee, would you mind having another teacher?” Ajie proposed.
Lee looked up, confused by Ajie’s suggestion.
However, Guy seemed to understand.
Ajie gave Guy a confirming look. “The path I’m suggesting doesn’t require chakra, and based on my observations this afternoon, you’re well-suited for it. How about it? Will you become my disciple?”
Lee stared at Ajie, then at Guy, who was contemplating. He knew Ajie’s capabilities in combat from their sparring session, and his character seemed sound based on what the village had confirmed about his identity. After a moment, Guy nodded to Lee.
Lee, struggling to rise, was gently pushed back down by Ajie. “Just say the word; there’s no need for formalities.”
“I will! Master Ajie, please teach me a lot!” Lee declared resolutely.
“Ha ha ha,” Ajie laughed heartily, patting Lee. “Then get ready. My training is rigorous, and we’re starting the treatment right away. There’s no time to waste!”
With Lee’s consent, their mission prompts were updated, indicating their integration into the Leaf Village’s faction, which would profoundly change the course of their journey.

Tony and Alice shared a smile, seemingly committed to sticking with the Leaf Village for the time being. After Ajie began treating Lee’s injuries, he ushered Tony and Guy out of the hospital room.
“Mr. Guy, do we need to inform your village about Lee taking Ajie as his mentor?” Tony asked as he approached Guy.
“No worries,” Guy said, “I’ll handle that part, and thanks for your help.”
“You’re welcome. By the way, do you know who Orochimaru is?” Tony asked, observing Guy’s reaction.
“Orochimaru? Why do you ask?” Guy became alert; Orochimaru had appeared in the earlier rounds of the Chunin Exams, and Leaf Village still maintained a special security force for him.
“Oh, nothing serious. We’re just curious about him since his bounty has always been high, and we wanted to learn more,” Tony continued.
“There’s not much to say,” Guy said firmly, “And I advise you not to mention this person within the Leaf Village; it could cause trouble.”
“Sorry about that. He’s just a bit greedy. You know how it is these days with the high prices of rare materials,” Alice quickly intervened to ease the tension.
Tony showed a slightly embarrassed expression, managing to ease Guy’s suspicions.
“It’s okay, but some things are better left unasked,” Guy stated bluntly.
Tony nodded and didn’t say more, communicating with Alice through their team channel.
“You were too direct with your questions; they might become suspicious of our identities,” Alice pointed out.
“It won’t have much impact, believe it or not. The guy probably already reported our presence here. Otherwise, why would there be so many watchers around us?” Tony leaned against the corridor wall, responding through their channel.
Tony deliberately mentioned Orochimaru; after bringing up his name, other ninjas might discuss related events, allowing Jarvis to eavesdrop.
“Still, it’s better to be cautious,” Alice remarked, sensing that Tony seemed in a hurry.
Tony looked at the ceiling without continuing to argue. After leaving the Marvel Universe, he felt restless. With S.H.I.E.L.D. and the military not taking further actions, which wasn’t typical for them, Tony was worried about Pepper handling the pressure on her own.
