Marvel Rise of Lord God - Chapter 31
At the beginning of A’jie’s teaching, Qi Yun, far beyond the world’s barrier, also sensed something. There was an undercover effort inside, and part of the accumulated energy of the world was being guided out.
The consciousness of the world, feeling the energy drain, was somewhat panicked, but with no experience and poor spirituality, it struggled to identify the problem.
As the timeline inside just started, if it were to reset, the loss of the world consciousness would be substantial.
Had the world consciousness been conscious and aware of the infiltration, it likely would have reset to cut losses, but clearly, the Naruto universe wasn’t one of those.
Along with the energy, the special product of the Naruto world also infiltrated, which were the plant spores that Tony and his team discovered.
Qi Yun stood in front of the world consciousness, continuing to attract its attention, while in his hands appeared the Divine Tree’s fruit, namely the aggregated plant spores.
With a sample now, Qi Yun understood the universal applicability of this item. Perhaps because the individual chakra levels weren’t too high and its specificity was low, its universality in the grand cosmic environment was quite decent.
The spores acted like converters, mixing human cellular energy and mental energy in a certain ratio to transform into chakra.
Qi Yun flipped his hand, and the spores fell. The “impurities” within were also removed, making this item fit to be sold in the Main God Space.
The Naruto timeline wasn’t short, and the overall energy level wasn’t low. Qi Yun estimated that conquering the Main God Space would take hundreds of missions, and these spores could serve as a good early reward.
After all, not everyone was like Tony, Alice, and A’jie, who had paved their paths before entering; for most people, learning ninjutsu, taijutsu, or genjutsu could be considered a good income.
Meanwhile, during A’jie’s process of teaching Lee to sense qi, they also receive a surprise.
?Hidden Side Quest Initiated…?
Graduation
Quest Brief: Your actions have completely altered the original destiny of Rock Lee within this timeline. Whether this change is good or bad must be tested over time. However, before that, Rock Lee must be able to survive in this chaotic era…
Quest Information: Enhance Rock Lee’s immediate combat ability and future potential, helping him become a true warrior.
Quest Reward: World Entry Scroll (Naruto), Trace of World’s Origin, 2000 Main God Points, 1 Medal of Honor.
Once it was confirmed that all three team members had received this quest, the teaching of Rock Lee suddenly expanded from A’jie alone to three people.
In a flash, a week went by, and during this week, A’jie and his team truly became teachers for the first time, the experts of three paths solidifying a strong foundation for him.
As the time drew closer to the final Chuunin Exam, Qi Yun’s actions became increasingly aggressive.
He could see that the current world timeline was about to reach a critical point, forcing the world consciousness to defend itself diverting most of its attention to Qi Yun.
Within the world, at the Konoha training ground.
Boom, Rock Lee was flung away by a telekinetic blast from Alice.
“Lee! I’ve told you! Never pause randomly in battle. Sometimes, a pause can cost you your life!” A’jie shouted from the sidelines.
Now, the training ground was the venue for Alice’s practical teaching.
As Rock Lee flew mid-air, he remained unusually calm, having experienced this many times before.
A pale green qi emitted from Rock Lee’s legs, gathering in the air. The moment the qi formed, Rock Lee quickly used it to change his movement direction.
In the next frame, after he left, the fragile qi was whipped away by a telekinetic lash.
This practical teaching session by Alice had limits, the simplest being that telekinesis and psychic power could not target Rock Lee directly, or there wouldn’t be a fight; with a wave of Alice’s hand, Rock Lee would end up bundled like a dead chicken.
Left side… Moving at high speed, Rock Lee judged the direction of the incoming attack, having honed this into an instinct over time.
Dodging a telekinetic attack, Rock Lee hadn’t yet caught his breath when another wooden splinter controlled by Alice attacked again.
Without space to hide, Rock Lee didn’t panic, concentrating all his qi into his fists.
Explosive Qi—Crushing Strike.
The furious qi, enveloping the surrounding air and directly clashing with the telekinetic force, dispersed it.
Plunk, before he could see the outcome, Rock Lee collapsed onto the ground, fainting.
Alice waved her hand to disperse the dozens of telekinetic traps in the training field, then jumped down to join A’jie by Rock Lee’s side.
Seeing the battered Rock Lee, Alice felt a bit sympathetic,
“A’jie, isn’t this a bit too much? Even an iron man couldn’t withstand such training.”
It should be noted that in the week after his body recovered, Rock Lee’s total sleep amounted to no more than twelve hours, most of which was due to fainting.
During this time, A’jie replaced the needed rest with meditation and contemplation, but these were only temporary recovery methods and couldn’t fully substitute for rest. Now, as the qi dispersed, Rock Lee collapsed.
A’jie placed his hands on Rock Lee’s shoulders, and a steady flow of qi from his body entered Rock Lee’s, nourishing his entire body.
“The key moment for the quest is coming soon. Once the quest is completed, we’ll be leaving. If we don’t leave enough for Lee to chew on during this time, does he have to start paving his path from scratch?”
“I understand what you mean… It’s just…” Alice looked at the two crazed individuals, momentarily at a loss for words, “Ah, I can’t be bothered with you two. You deserve to be exhausted.”
“Don’t worry, it’s just a small scene,” A’jie smiled at Alice.
“By the way, where’s Tony? He’s been disappearing these past few days. Where did he go?” A’jie looked around and then asked.
“He’s been hanging out with Jiraiya lately, and I heard they’re researching the principles of explosive tags. Haven’t found the key point yet. He’s almost going crazy,” Alice said helplessly.
“Oh, I wanted to borrow J.A.R.V.I.S for a bit to modify the Eight Gates technique,” A’jie quickly added.
“Oh, you two nutcases,” Alice rolled her eyes, somewhat unable to stand them.
During this period, besides teaching Rock Lee, one was researching explosive tags and various magical explosive items, and the other was modifying the Eight Gates with Guy.
A’jie just smiled and said nothing, his attention divided, helping Rock Lee recover on the one hand and the other, using a weak stream of qi to operate within his body according to the deduced Eight Gates route.
Alice moved away from A’jie, sitting on a log bench beside the training ground, then pulled out a big bag from beside the bench.
Inside the bag were all the low-level genjutsu data from Konoha, exchanged by Alice using all her reputation points because genjutsu typically ranked high, and Konoha wasn’t known for its genjutsu prowess.
