Marvel Saiyans - Chapter 15
“You’re asking for death!”
Chap supported himself with both hands on the ceiling and pulled his body down with difficulty. He wasn’t a product of a mutant factory but had willingly joined the Reyes Group as a mutant. Unlike the brainwashed, intellectually impaired products of assembly lines, he was valued and held a high position within the Reyes Group.
Alejandro gripped his rifle tightly, based on intelligence gathered through the CIA.
“He is Chap Herrera, a mutant whose ability is rock-like skin. He can withstand direct hits from grenade launchers and anti-materiel rifles; regular small arms are ineffective against him. Additionally, his rock skin can rapidly heal after being damaged. He is proficient in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Watch out for his grappling. And kill him!”
His voice trembled as he spoke the final words.
Broly looked at Alejandro, who seemed slightly off and nodded gravely.
Chap sneered:
“So, the Mata Group has thoroughly researched my abilities. I’ll be a bit gentler when I crush your bones.”
His original plan was to sneak a few products out of the lab to use at a party that night. As long as the quantity wasn’t too large, Filipe wouldn’t mind.
However, Chap hadn’t expected to run directly into a group of gunmen from the Mata Group; he could now take all the lab’s finished products for himself. All he needed to do was kill everyone and set the lab on fire, making the Mata Group the perfect scapegoat.
“Interesting!”
Broly smiled and stood before Chap, looking up at him.
“Come on, try your moves and see if you can hit me.”
Silence fell in the factory. Everyone was stunned, and even Chap was momentarily taken aback.
Wade suddenly looked enlightened.
“I get it now! You must be like Billy and VAN, artists ready to stage a locker room duel, like a love wrestling match!”
Broly arched an eyebrow and looked at Alejandro with a puzzled expression.
Alejandro covered his face with one hand in resignation.
“You don’t want to know.”
Chap’s massive body was surprisingly agile as he slammed an elbow into Broly’s face, lifted him, and threw him heavily.
“Boom!”
The entire building shook violently, like in an earthquake, and dust fell everywhere. The floor was brutally indented by the force, revealing panicked people below through the cracks.
“What a mess, kid. Your spine must be broken now. That’s the price of arrogance.”
Chap spoke breathlessly, and for the first time, his expression was not so confident.
Broly rubbed his head and stood up from the rubble.
“Good! This is the fight I wanted, the enemy I was looking for. My blood is boiling. Hang in there, friend.”
He laughed wildly. Then, with a lightning-fast move, he unleashed a fierce kick that shot out like a cannonball, hitting Chap in the face. Rock fragments shattered, and as if struck head-on by a train, Chap was kicked out through the previously broken window, flying outside.
Broly stood in the window frame, turning back:
“It’s too cramped here, not a good place to fight. You guys handle the enemies inside, and I’ll take care of this Chap or whatever his name is outside.”
With that, he jumped down.
Watching Broly’s figure, Wade swallowed hard and turned to Alejandro, saying:
“Hey, Al, you didn’t tell Broly what I just said?”
Alejandro snorted coldly, leading the way, ready to clear out the remaining Reyes Group gunmen.
Chap’s hefty body smashed into the ground, creating cracks.
Furiously slapping the ground, he stood up and clenched his fists, facing Broly, who had jumped down. “I’m going to crush your bones!”
The wound on his head from Broly’s kick had already healed. He swung a heavy haymaker at Broly. His bulging muscles stretched his rock-like skin, and such a destructive punch could have exploded even a rhino if it hit.
Broly punched quickly on the draw and heavily hit Chap’s chest. Chap’s powerful punch missed as Broly dodged by tilting his head.
“Boom!”
The punch’s force blasted Chap more than ten meters away, smashing him into a roadside telephone pole. The battle between these two behemoths made bystanders scream and flee from the dangerous area.
“Your punches are just tickles to me.”
Chap, with his rock-composed face, sneered as he stood up.
“It seems your rock skin has made you lose your sense of pain. I’ll make you remember the taste of pain. Ha ha, look down at your wound.”
Broly’s gaze was intimidating and chilling.
Confused, Chap looked down only to see a fierce radial wound on his chest, as if a force had exploded from the point of impact. His durable rock skin was pierced through, revealing the muscle layers beneath.
“This can’t be possible!”
His rock skin began to heal, writhing, but Chap no longer felt the security he once had against gunfire and explosions.
“This is the power of Chi, Iron Fist!”
Broly declared, then stomped on the ground with both feet. In a flash, he surged forward, covering the distance of tens of meters in an instant.
“Bang!”
His knee hit Chap’s jaw, lifting his heavy body into the air.
“Ratatat!”
A sudden barrage of straight punches, bursting with energy, blew apart Chap’s newly formed rock skin. Chap’s recovery rate couldn’t keep up with the speed of Broly’s destructive blows.
“Boom!”
Chap fell to the ground in a sorry state, coughing violently, spitting out blood and internal organs. His internal organs were severely damaged, and if not for the mutant’s robust vitality, he would have been dead by now.
“It seems you can bleed too,” Broly said, somewhat disappointed. Although Chap was strong, even more potent than him, he was still too weak; he didn’t know how to use his power correctly: “This fight is boring. I might as well kill you.”
“Woah… spare me… spare me… I know many of Reyes Group’s secrets and am willing to join the Mata Group!”
Chap writhed, trying to beg for mercy.
“That’s great, you caught Chap! Barlow Mata will meet any of your demands!”
Fernando, who came with the mercenaries from the Mata Group, exclaimed in surprise as he got out of the van.
Broly glanced at him, grabbed Chap’s head, and lifted him. Then he punched through Chap’s chest, and his fist, soaked in blood, came out the other side.
Chap’s heart was pierced, his eyes wide open, and his pupils shrunk to points. After awakening his superpower, he considered himself a chosen son of fate, treating ordinary people like ants. He hadn’t expected to be killed so neatly, without even a chance to struggle.
In his life, his hands were stained with the blood of the innocent, most memorable being that mother and daughter. What was the name of that prosecutor? Before he could recall that impactful name, his vision had utterly darkened.

“Why did you kill him? A living Chap is much more valuable than a dead one!”
Fernando complained discontentedly.
“Do I need your permission to kill?”
Broly pulled his fist out. His cold killing intent scared Fernando into retreating several steps; his legs gave way, and he sat on the ground.
