Marvel Saiyans - Chapter 20
Channel Two is live broadcasting a battle in Mexico City. The robust Televisa TV network has deployed two helicopters to cover this action live.
As the nation’s largest commercial TV network, Channel Two did not hold back, clearly capturing the moment when Sandman was killed without cutting even a second.
“Well done!” Miguel, brother of Phil Coopers, watched the TV broadcast from their spacious and luxurious living room: “These northerners think they can bully their way around here too. They’re wrong! Once we take over the Mutant Factory, the Mata Corporation won’t stand a chance against us!”
However, Phil Coopers was not as optimistic as his brother.
The entire Americas is America’s backyard. After the incidents with the Chitauri, anyone who lays a hand on U.S. government personnel must consider the consequences.
Quicksilver Camarena, a DEA agent in Mexico pursuing the Guadalajara cartel, achieved significant success in his operations against them, destroying a marijuana plantation in the desert, with the seized marijuana valued at $2.5 billion.
This completely infuriated the Guadalajara cartel. They kidnapped Quicksilver and brutally tortured him; his body was only discovered on a farm a month after the abduction.
This incident escalated, and the U.S. government launched a full-scale crackdown on the Guadalajara cartel. The once-dominant cartel quickly fell apart. If not for this incident, the Reyes and Mata corporations would never have had their chance to rise, even though they were once part of the Guadalajara cartel.
“Don’t worry, brother. The Mexican Army made the move, and it has nothing to do with us.”
Miguel said carelessly.
Phil Coopers sighed, picked up his wine glass, and drained the wine inside. He knew his biggest flaw was being too cautious and indecisive compared to Balder. This saved him from many dangers but also caused him to miss many opportunities. This time, he decided to be more decisive.
Suddenly, his hand holding the glass trembled, and the expensive crystal glass fell to the ground, the red wine flowing like fresh blood.
On TV, a green energy blast hit an advancing AMX-VCI infantry fighting vehicle at an incredible speed. It easily penetrated the front armour of the old car and then exploded violently.
The infantry fighting vehicle was torn open like a can, with ammunition stored inside the vehicle detonating, sending bullets flying in all directions like fireworks, with thick smoke burning on the wreckage.
“Terrorists launched an unknown energy, destroying an army infantry fighting vehicle!”
The live broadcast shook violently as the helicopter pilot made an emergency climb, and the host, although also frightened, continued to describe the situation below professionally.
Broly stood beside the wreckage of the infantry fighting vehicle, his hands burning with energy, like flames or smoke.
Opposite him, the soldiers were on high alert. The diesel engines of the old infantry fighting vehicles roared under the strain as they tried to back away from this monster. The soldiers knelt on the ground, fitting Broly into their sights.
“Bang! Bang! Bang!”
All the soldiers switched their rifles to fully automatic, firing wildly at Broly.
The HK19 grenade launcher that killed Sandman emitted a dull shooting sound as the fuel burned, launching high-explosive grenades.
“Boom!”
The exploding grenade lifted a large amount of dust.
But Broly’s reaction was faster, and his powerful leaping ability allowed him to instantly jump to the outer wall of a nearby building. The few bullets that did hit him were like mosquito bites, unable to harm him.
“He’s not dead! On the wall! Shoot! Shoot!”
Broly erupted with terrifying strength.
Broly leaped directly from the vertical wall, hurling two concentrated balls of energy from his hands in mid-air. These energy balls pierced through the top armour of the infantry fighting vehicle and penetrated inside.
“Boom! Boom!”
The explosions completely shattered the infantry fighting vehicle, leaving only two deep craters in the hard road as if it had been bombarded.
?Experience +8??Experience +11??Experience +7?…
In Broly’s hands, the Satanic Combat Technique displayed unprecedented destructive power.
New energy quickly reformed in his hands, and Broly landed on the ground. Like twisted steel cables, his robust muscles struck a punch on the front armor of an infantry fighting vehicle that couldn’t react in time.
A mere punch might have only penetrated the armor of the infantry vehicle, but under the effect of highly compressed energy, the entire car was blasted away by this punch. The agitated energy directly tore the vehicle into a pile of scattered metal debris mid-air.
The debris fell like torrential rain, and the surviving soldiers watched this scene in stunned silence. Their morale collapsed; this was not a creature they could contend with.
“…This is simply a one-sided slaughter… Our army has no resistance in the face of this terrorist.”
The host spoke in a trembling voice, fear inevitably rising from deep within.
Broly’s speed reached a specific limit, and the camera could not capture his figure clearly, only managing to record a clear image of him when he stopped.
Phil Coopers sat on the sofa, sweating profusely despite the air conditioning, his lips pressed into a thin line, looking severely pale. His brother Miguel was even worse off, his legs weakened by fear, no longer as spirited as before.
“This… this kind of monster, where did it come from…”
His voice was hoarse, and his ordinarily flashy hairstyle was damp, with sweat sticking to his head.
Phil Coopers barely regained his composure.
“Pack up, and we need to leave Mexico City.”
Having provoked such a monster, Mexico City was no longer safe, and they had to leave immediately. The Reyes Group was like roots deeply embedded in the country of Mexico; as long as the two brothers were not dead, they would only be severely damaged, not destroyed.
“Thud!”
Broly stood on the roof of the last infantry fighting vehicle. His palm pierced through the car’s roof, and then, like opening a can, he flipped open the top armor.
Major Jackson Nez’s face appeared pale as a ghost, like a rat caught by a cat, wriggling in the confined space of the infantry vehicle.
“Don’t kill me, I surrender! We surrender!”
He dared not meet Broly’s gaze.
The energy in Broly’s hand flashed brightly, then shot out, flying into the infantry vehicle in front of Major Nez’s desperate eyes.
“Boom!”
After the explosion, the flames engulfed everything.
Shards of metal sprayed everywhere, and Broly jumped down from the wreckage of the infantry vehicle. His energy didn’t deplete from the furious expenditure but continued to surge from within his body.
After entering a rage state, his combat power continued to expand rapidly.
