Marvel Saiyans - Chapter 32
“This is the battle I’ve been craving!”
Broly exclaimed excitedly. Digging his feet into the ground, his muscles tensed powerfully, and with a ferocious elbow strike as sharp as a spear, he targeted Goro Daimon.
His martial arts talent was exceptional, and in just a few minutes of fighting, he was already showing signs of mastering a blend of the Wolf Fang Fist and Satan-Style Combat.
Faced with this battering ram-like elbow strike, Goro Daimon had no escape, forced to block with his arms.
As their elbows collided, bones snapped crisply. Broly’s aggressive energy, like a drill, pierced through Goro Daimon’s energy shield, the residual force wreaking havoc inside his body.
Goro Daimon trembled as if electrocuted, retreating step by step, his feet plowing the earth like iron tillers, finally halting his backward momentum.
“What kind of monster is this!”
He looked at his arms; after blocking the elbow, the muscle fibers in his arms were torn by the energy, and even his sturdy bones were cracked, nearly paralyzing him with pain.
In the fight, Broly’s energy didn’t weaken over time but grew more pungent, enhancing his strength and speed compared to the start of the battle.
Goro Daimon could feel that his energy had peaked and was now declining. If this continued, he was undoubtedly doomed!
But Broly was too agile, his combat instincts terrifyingly sharp, giving him no chance to employ his throwing techniques.
“The chance for victory is but a moment.”
Goro Daimon prepared for a desperate stand. Broly’s punches were too terrifying; his body, already riddled with energy-inflicted wounds, would likely collapse with one more punch.
“Ah!”
Broly clenched his fists, suppressing the rising energy within him. His current strength was just right; any more increase in power would strip the battle of any fun.
“He’s still getting stronger!”
Goro Daimon felt a chill. He knew he couldn’t delay any longer; further delay would drain all his courage to strike.
No wonder he had such terrifying performances in Mexico. What kind of monstrous entity was this? Is this possible? Why hasn’t the help promised by Kinbami acted yet?
“I’m going in, Goro Daimon, hold on.”
Broly finally contained his energy, moving as swiftly as a swallow, his feet striking with the force of thunder. He launched a lunging punch.
In Goro Daimon’s eyes, it seemed Broly held a mountain in his fist, swinging it towards him. Even in peak condition, this punch meant certain death!
At the brink of life and death, Goro Daimon concentrated intensely, unleashing his limit. He suddenly dropped down, pressing his feet more than fifty centimeters into the ground with his energy, dodging the punch.
“Boom!”
The punch carried an airstream like a storm, sending dust and stones flying, even overturning heavy granite tables and chairs.
“Opportunity!”
Goro Daimon finally found the opening he had been waiting for. Ignoring the intense pain in his arms, he grabbed Broly’s shoulders.
“Super O-soto Gari!”
With an angry roar, he forcefully slammed Broly’s body to the ground.
“Boom!”
The slam, filled with energy, buried Broly into the earth. The ground trembled violently under the powerful impact.
“Jigoku Gokuraku Otoshi!”
Goro Daimon grabbed Broly’s shoulders, his powerful energy trapping Broly, rendering him immobile. As he exerted his ultimate strength, his face was contorted with bulging veins, fiercely terrifying.
“Boom!”
He swung Broly’s body into the air and slammed him to the ground with force.
“Boom!”
A shockwave radiated outward from the two of them in all directions.
The solid ground shook like cotton, and even the nearby mansion trembled violently. If not for the fact that Benjamin had built this mansion as solidly as a fortress, it might have collapsed under the shock.
As Goro Daimon’s finishing move, Jigoku Gokuraku Otoshi wasn’t so simple to end. After trapping the opponent with energy, Jigoku Gokuraku Otoshi would perform three powerful slams and then toss the enemy into the air.
Goro Daimon lifted Broly again and slammed him down fiercely. Even the residual effects were enough to knock down gang leaders who had fled far away, making them spit blood.
He wanted to slam thrice but suddenly couldn’t move his hands.
Broly grabbed Goro Daimon’s wrists and, with a twist, forced him to release his grip involuntarily.
“How… how is this possible!”
What shocked him most was not that Broly had escaped the energy trap but that he had been trapped by Broly using the same technique. The technique of trapping an enemy with energy was the core skill of his unique fighting style, impossible for anyone else to possess.
The Sandman had trained under him for three years and hadn’t mastered this technique; how could Broly learn it just from being slammed twice?
Goro Daimon even felt he might be hallucinating due to severe exhaustion.
Broly stood up, his knee striking sharply, sending Goro Daimon flying and crashing to the ground.
“All your boxing techniques are passable, but this skill is interesting. It can trap an opponent with much stronger energy than your own if timed well. Fascinating, truly fascinating!”
He was somewhat excited; this skill might be helpful in his battle against Frieza.
“Continue. You still have one last chance!”
Goro Daimon trembled. His spirit as a martial artist was wholly crushed, his energy depleted, and intense pain radiated throughout his body, making even moving his fingers difficult.
He couldn’t be a match for this demon in front of him. Not even his friend, the prestigious Kyo Kusanagi, might defeat this demon. Kinbami had deceived him; there was no help coming.
Broly raised an eyebrow.
“True, with your current energy, you can’t continue to fight.”
After saying this, a terrifying surge of energy emanated from his palm, white energy burning like flames. Goro Daimon resignedly fell to the ground, awaiting death.
A light orb flew from Broly’s palm into Goro Daimon. Unexpectedly, instead of intense pain, his body felt as if it were soaking in hot water, and new strength continuously emerged.
“I’ve shared my energy with you. Now you can stand and fight again,” Broly said, arms crossed. “Show me something new.”
Goro Daimon struggled to his feet, his expression blank.
“Show me some fighting spirit. Aren’t you here to exorcise demons?” Broly said somewhat helplessly. “I’ve given you energy; don’t play dead on me. If you really can’t do it, I’ll just have to kill you. Someone will surely come seeking revenge for you, right? A master, brothers, friends, or something.”
