The sudden fireball explosion instantly vaporized the bald man that Tony suspended in midair with his power.
“What the hell was in that syringe? It was so powerful!”
Tony wasn’t too affected by the man’s death. It was just another random mooks. If he died, then he died.
Instead, Tony’s attention was caught by the interesting drug that the bald man had taken. He had never seen a drug with that kind of effect!
Looking at the result of the drug, it was quite obvious that the man had failed to take in the drug, which resulted in the explosion! Tony still had no idea what the drug was supposed to do!
“Ah well, let’s forget about it for now! Let’s just go back for now, I’m sure Li Yue would know about that drug anyway!”
With that thought, Tony turned around and accelerated at full speed back to his villa with an explosion of white thrust exhaust!

Li Yue and the others all witnessed Tony’s situation from the distance!
Jarvis’ satellite surveillance gave them an almost real-time 3D virtual projections!
They knew that Tony was well-protected by the Iron Man armor, but they couldn’t help but worry that the armor couldn’t adequately protect against the missile bombardment head-on!
However, they were immediately stunned by Tony’s performance when Tony turned the situation around! They had no idea how he could’ve done it!
“Hang tight, now! Two helicopters that broke from the formation earlier were still headed towards us. Tony wouldn’t be able to make it, so I’ll go out and crush them for a bit!”
Li Yue lost any concern over Tony after he saw the Iron Man successfully controlling the enemy missiles! He then noticed that there were still two enemy helicopters heading towards the villa!
To avoid those hostiles from attacking the villa and harming innocents, Li Yue felt like he should personally go and crush them!
After all, him and Tony were the only superheroes present that could fly!
…well, technically Captain America could also fly, if he turned into his flaming state! However, Captain America still couldn’t control his Human Torch power all that well, and his appearance would be too eye-catching!
Moreover, it would be bad because Captain America would have to destroy his current clothes.
Therefore, Li Yue decided to ban Captain America from using the power for now!
“Uh, Li Yue? What are you going to do? Your enemies have armored helicopter with heavy weapons. How are you going to deal with them without battle suit like Tony’s? Just let me send my men to intercept them, yeah?”
Rhodes was staring at Tony’s performance when he suddenly heard Li Yue’s words. He was a little confused! How could a human fight against a helicopter?
Moreover, Li Yue’s opponent had heavy weapons like missiles and machine guns, and Li Yue didn’t have any battle armor like Tony! How could he survive against the helicopters, much less destroy them!
“Can you fly?”
Rhodes swallowed his question!

Li Yue smiled meaningfully at Rhodes. It was good that Rhodes was worrying over him, but it was ultimately unnecessary!
Li Yue wasted no more words and walked to the window that Tony had just flown out of!

Right as Rhodes was trying to dissuade Li Yue from jumping off the window, he was shocked by what he saw!
With a single leap, Li Yue’s body was instantly accelerated in the air! The moment he accelerated, a conical mass of air formed around his body!
With a loud “boom,” Li Yue’s figure disappeared! Even the window made of special materials in Tony’s villa were deformed by the shockwave, and the bulletproof glass were shattered!
Fortunately, everyone was quite a distance away from the window, so they did not suffer any injuries other than the shell shock!
Li Yue actually tried his best to slow his speed down, and only crossed the sonic barrier some distance away from the villa. Otherwise, the consequences would’ve been severe!
“That…sound…was that sonic boom?”
Rhodes held his buzzing ears, asking the people around him in shock. However, he found that the people around him were mostly very calm and not at all surprised by the sight!
“Calm down. That is just one tenth of his full speed.”
T’Challa comforted Rhodes—he had seen Li Yue in full speed before, after all!
“A tenth? You gotta be kidding me, right?! There’s no way that’s true!”
Despite both being black men, Rhodes couldn’t help but to doubt T’Challa’s words! To be able to fly and even exceed the speed of sound…That fact alone had shattered Rhodes’ worldview.
And now T’Challa was telling him that this was just a tenth of Li Yue’s speed? There’s no way that was true!

“Did something just fly over?”
“What? Aren’t you just seeing things? Iron Man hasn’t returned yet!”

Li Yue’s speed wasn’t just for show. Even while holding back, he easily exceeded the speed of sound, and he almost instantly arrived in front of one of the helicopters!
Li Yue reserved no mercy towards the criminal that tried to attack Tony’s villa. His eyes glowed red and two scarlet beams instantly hit the flying helicopter!
The villains in the helicopter had no time to react as the red laser beams shot at him!
Boom!
With a massive fireball and loud noise, the helicopter exploded in all directions!
Li Yue didn’t stop to look at his handiwork and immediately zoomed towards the other helicopter!
He arrived in less than a second and once again used his laser eyes!
Boom!
The last helicopter also turned into a dazzling flame with a loud bang!
He just destroyed two combat helicopters in matter of seconds, but Li Yue’s expression didn’t even change!
With a single thought, his figure disappeared from the sky, leaving only the burning fireballs!

“Li Yue, he… is he… a human? Or…?”
Rhodes was dumbfounded to the point that he stuttered! It was because Li Yue’s action shocked him too much. His prized mental fortitude, essential for any Air Force pilot, was rendered useless!
“Of course I am a human! What else could I be, a ghost?”
“Ah! Who is it?”
Rhodes jumped in shock when Li Yue’s voice suddenly interrupted him! He immediately turned around, in full alertness, before he finally realized that it was just Li Yue!
“Li… Li Yue, weren’t you outside just now? How did you come back so silently?”
Rhodes was shocked all over again just as he had some time to calm himself! Li Yue’s flight speed was fast, but it shouldn’t be this fast!
Rhodes was utterly perplexed. How did Tony come to know someone as bizarre as Li Yue?
