“Stark, you are finally here!”
The Captain greeted Tony!
“Sorry, Captain, I didn’t mean to steal your thunder, but that reindeer was just too weak!”
Tony gloated to the Captain with a wide smile, opening his nanoarmor helmet.
“Alright, don’t jinx yourself, now! Let’s just bring that guy to the helicarrier!’ Captain America helplessly laughed, but his face soon turned serious. “Have you really thought this through? Are you going to tell SHIELD about the secret Justice League?”
“It’s been two years, Captain. Our alliance had relatively stabilized, and our bonds are pretty strong! There’s no harm in exposing it!
“Besides, I have a hunch that this incident would be the critical moment that allow all our members to shine!”
Tony also put away his sarcasm for once and replied with serious expression!
“Well, I trust your judgment! It’s just that, Nick Fury is still technically my superior, so I hope you don’t humiliate him too much!”
The Captain foresaw that Tony and Nick Fury wouldn’t meet on a peaceful ground! Even if they don’t physically fight each others, their words would likely be full of venom and poison!
After all, Tony’s Justice League had pretty much stolen almost every candidate for Nick Fury’s Avengers initiative! The bald director might explode from the embarrassment!
“Don’t worry, we don’t have the time to spend arguing with that black egg! Unless, of course, he tried to mess with us!”
Tony’s arrogant smile returned, assuring the Captain that it would be fine!
“Sigh, I just hope that you won’t immediately fight each other!”
The Captain could only smile. He knew Tony enough to know that Tony was the kind of person who had to have the last word! He would definitely not get along with Nick Fury!
The Captain could almost imagine what would happen when the two met!

Loki finally caught some break and was able to recover some strength! The pain still remained, but he could finally move his body!
“Be the bait my ass! Who knows what these people would do to their prisoner! I’d better run away!”
Loki deeply regretted his decision. If he knew it would turn out like this, he would’ve ran away immediately!
Suddenly, he noticed the glowing tip of the Mind Scepter that had fallen a few meters away from him, and he smiled!
“If I turn this Earthling to my side, wouldn’t that be the same as ruling over the Earth?”
Loki was overjoyed by his own cunning, and he began accumulating his strength again!
“A hunter must know when to hide himself, unmoving like stone, locking into target, and then attack as swiftly as the wind…Now!”
The two Earthlings seemed to be distracted, so Loki took the opportunity to rush as fast as he could to the Mind Scepter!
His hand was less than a foot away! It was his victory! He revealed a wide smile!
With the Mind Scepter in his hand, even if defeating the two Earthlings were impossible, he could still escape!
…
But right before Loki’s fingers could touch the scepter, it suddenly moved away from him, to his great shock! His smile froze!
The discrepancy between his imagined victory after grabbing the Mind Scepter and the fantastical scene of the scepter moving on its own utterly stunned Loki!
He could only watch as the Mind Scepter was floating away from him, as if controlled by unknown force, flying towards the two Earthlings!
“Is this the weapon that you used to make people betray their own allies? It doesn’t look all that special! Let me try it out!”
Tony had used his superpower to pull the Mind Scepter towards him, and he grabbed it from the air. He wasn’t really impressed by its appearance!
He slowly walked towards Loki, who was still laying on the ground and shocked by the bizarre sight. He then pointed the Mind Scepter’s glowing tip at Loki!
“You lowly mortal! I won’t allow you to do this!”
Loki shouted loudly, struggling to move away from the Scepter. Unfortunately, he had used up what little strength he had regained, so he couldn’t avoid it!
Ding!
“Boo! Haha, did I scare you? That’s a pity, I don’t think I can use this thing. It would’ve been fun to see you experience how it feels to be controlled for once!”
Tony tapped the Mind Scepter on Loki’s helmet, the impact letting out a crisp ding sound. Loki’s fearful expression made Tony burst out laughing!
“Let’s go, reindeer. Don’t even think about escaping with me here! Maybe I’ll let your brother Thor have his turn punishing you after all this is over!”
Tony casually put away the Mind Scepter as he sneered on Loki!
“He even knows Thor?”
Loki sighed in relief when he realized that he wasn’t under the Scepter’s control! But the mention of the name Thor made him alert again!

Loki was safely escorted in the Quinjet as they fly back to the helicarrier!
Thor was supposed to interfere with the escort in the original plot, but he didn’t appear this time, so the Quinjet flew without interruption!
“Hey, baldie, the great Tony Stark was merciful enough to hand this Loki prisoner over to you and let you have the credit! Am I generous or what?
“But this weapon that could turn people’s allegiance belongs to us, the Justice League! Don’t even think to touch it!”
Tony arrogantly spoke to Nick Fury!
“It’s over. I should’ve know this would happen!”
The Captain unhappily watched as Tony and Nick Fury immediately butted heads the second they met!
“Alright, that’s that, then. Do you want an award?”
Nick Fury kept his calm expression and tone as he replied to Tony!
“Bah, I have no use for your gratitude!”
Tony matched Nick Fury’s calm tone and demeanor, as if they were just chatting as usual!
“Now then, I shall proceed to meet my Justice League compatriots! They should’ve arrived a while ago, right? Where are they?”
Tony’s expression was bright and smug as he asked Nick Fury.
“They are in the laboratory. Dr. Banner is trying his best to track the Tesseract! Natasha, take them there first! I will escort this Loki to his cell!”
Nick Fury didn’t show any reaction to the term Justice League that Tony used, but it pretty much confirmed his suspicions!
“Captain, come with me!”
Natasha obeyed Nick’s instruction and took the lead as she gestured for the Captain to follow her!
