“Foolish human! You fell for my trickery! In just a few minutes, my army shall descend upon this city. Your arrogance had doomed you!”
Loki stopped running around when he noticed the light from the wormhole device, shooting a beam to make some distance between him and Tony. He smiled, confident that he had won!
“Heh, don’t you think it’s too early for you to celebrate?”
Tony saw the light from the wormhole device, but he didn’t seem too worried!
“Playtime is over!” Tony said casually. He looked straight at Loki, but he didn’t attack the God of Mischief!
“Hilarious! Do you really think that this is the extent of my power? I am a god! You earthlings are no more than dust to me!” Loki laughed and mocked Tony loudly. He did feel that something was amiss, but he ignored his premonition: after all, his victory is at hand!
Behind Tony, another Loki suddenly appeared and aimed his Mind Scepter at Tony!
The Loki in front of Tony still distracted the billionaire attention!
Any onlookers would be stunned by this second Loki’s appearance, but Tony didn’t seem to notice. He made no action to dodge!
The Mind Scepter glowed: it was ready to fire a beam!
“You really don’t learn, do you? Have you forgotten what happened last time I caught you?”
Tony’s calm voice made the second Loki opened his eyes wide!
Loki recalled when the Mind Scepter had flew towards Tony’s hand, ignoring his will.
But it was too late. Loki could only bet that he could fire the beam before Tony used that special power again!
“Seems that you won’t learn even if it’s the last thing you do!”
Tony sighed helplessly and used his superpower again to seize the Mind Scepter from the second Loki behind him!
The Mind Scepter dragged Loki to just a few centimeter behind Tony! Loki was shocked to find that even using his full body strength, he couldn’t pull the Mind Scepter away!
He switched tactics and channeled divine power to the Mind Scepter, firing a shot almost point-blank, but Tony was already a step ahead and dodged it!
Loki exerted all of his strength and more, but he still couldn’t pull the scepter away. He then decided to change tactics and gain some distance from Tony!
“Oh, now you’re scared? It’s too late!”
Tony saw that Loki was trying to escape, so he used all his power!
All the metal objects around them, on the top floor of the Stark Building, broke free from the yoke of gravity and rushed towards Loki!
The metal object formed a mass akin to a black dragon as they flowed towards Loki!
Even the metal rebar within the walls and the floor jutted out and broke free of their concrete prison, dancing like long snakes towards Loki!
“Is he really an earthling? How could a mere human obtain such godly powers?”
Loki was aghast as he saw countless metal objects rushing to attack him. As an Asgardian, his physique far exceeded ordinary humans, and he even had mastery over illusion and assassination! Unfortunately, his divine powers didn’t include flight!
Therefore, he cannot escape the building, and could only depend on his flexible body to dodge the attacks!
“Foolish human, open the wormhole quick! I’ll be finished otherwise!”
Loki anxiously dodged around in his sorry state, while glaring at Dr. Selvig, hoping that the old doctor would quickly open the wormhole and bring his army to bear!

Not even Loki could evade every single one of Tony’s dense metal attacks. Two metal pole as thick as one’s arm caught up to him and wrapped around his legs like snakes, stopping his movement!
As if having their own mind, the other metal objects under Tony’s control seized the opportunity to encase Loki’s entire body!
Loki was bound by countless metal pieces, like a mummy, with only his eyes and mouth visible!
But Loki’s struggle hadn’t been for naught. The wormhole device with Tesseract at its core finally flared to life!
A massive column of blue light shot unto the sky.
After the blue light reached hundreds of meters unto the sky, it dispersed in all direction, forming a blue wormhole! A circular dark portal dozens of meters wide formed in its center, as if poised to devour sky itself!
“You lost! My army will soon descend and crush this city to ruins, before doing the same to the entire planet. All who dare resist me would face my wrath!
“And you! You will be the first! I will grant you the most cruel of death! Although, if you release me now, I shall consider lessening your pain!
“And then I shall ascend to the throne of this realm, the one and only god and king of humanity!”
Loki was still bound in countless metal restraint, but he still arrogantly challenged Tony!
“Cough, heh, a ‘god,’ you say? Can’t you see your own situation? Forget about it, I don’t have time to humor your nonsense. Just sit tight right here and watch as I crush your so-called army!”
Tony was speechless at Loki’s limitless arrogance. Even while bound like this, Loki was still able to spew such bullshit. If he wasn’t Thor’s younger brother, Tony would’ve killed him long ago!
With a single thought, Tony sent Loki’s bound body tumbling backwards with a bang. His body was laying on the ground, facing the wormhole in the sky!
“You… What are you doing?”
Despite being slammed on the ground, Loki didn’t feel any pain. He was more uncomfortable to the fact that his body could be manipulated so precisely!
“Just be quiet and watch!”
With a wave of Tony’s hand, a loose metal piece sealed Loki’s mouth, silencing the God of Mischief!

“It’s time to see what these so-called alien armies look like!”
After finishing his business with Loki, Tony turned his attention to the wormhole in the sky. His expression was equally grave as it was curious!
Tony was confident in himself and the Justice League members, but he was still wary of unknown variables, including this unknown army that he had no information about!
Tony was greatly shocked when he saw the figures that began rushing out of the wormhole!
“Is this the so-called alien army? The invincible Chitauri race? They’re just a bunch of delivery guys!”
Tony was speechless when he sensed the familiar metals on the alien bodies! Are you sure these are not the jesters?
“Well, let’s give them a chance! Maybe they have some special way to ignore my superpower!”
Tony kept a vigilant thought in his heart. The alien that rushed out the wormhole was headed right to the city below! Of course, Tony wouldn’t let them have their ways!
Tony activated his superpower immediately, aiming at the rushing Chitauri soldiers not far away. Their aircraft suddenly swerved out of control and crashed to their comrades!
Boom! Boom! Boom!
The flying vanguards exploded in balls of flames, their pieces flying in all directions!
“What are those Chitauri idiots doing? They’re crashing against each other!”
Loki, still bound on the ground, was shocked by the scene in front of him!
“Wait…is this that human’s doing?”
Loki quickly realized that it wasn’t the army’s fault: it must’ve been because of the earthling who had subdued him!

The news about the wormhole above New York City spread quickly to various government across the world, including SHIELD. Moreover, unknown hostile aliens had poured out of the wormhole!
The world fell into great panic. The news about the alien invasion spread like wildfire!
“Stark, we’re here. What should we do?”
The Captain and the others contacted Tony, who was extremely calm. No traces of worries remained on his face!
“Hah, don’t worry about it! My original plan had ninety percent chance of success, but now, I’m a hundred percent certain that we could defeat this army once and for all!
“Let’s get to work!” Tony’s confidence was obvious in his voice. He then commanded Jarvis, “Jarvis, activate large-scale shield dome!”
A dome of transparent blue energy rapidly expanded from the Stark Building, covering the entirety of New York!
“It’s time to show the power of our Justice League to the world!”
