Marvel Start With Reality Stone - Chapter 55
“Don’t look at me like that!”
“I’m not into men!”
As he withdrew his hand from someone’s chest, Qi Jun complained disdainfully.
“Yuck!”
Compared to Qi Jun’s expression, Tony reacted even more dramatically, slapping his chest with a clang of iron against iron.
His expression seemed to indicate a disdain ten thousand times greater than Qi Jun’s.
Qi Jun rolled his eyes silently but noticed Tony Stark cleaning up the debris from the large hole in his chest.
Shaking his head, Qi Jun didn’t bother to repair the hole.
Some things can be revealed, and others must be concealed.
Besides, keeping that hole would remind Tony of Qi Jun’s strength!
Otherwise, did Tony really think everything Qi Jun did was just for fun?
………………….
“Can you tell me who exactly you are?” Tony asked, no longer trusting the ordinary information Jarvis had found.
“I’m really just a normal person!” Qi Jun glanced at Tony, noticing him slowly pacing back to his side.
His heart is that big?
“If that incident hadn’t happened!”
Looking at the much younger Tony Stark, Qi Jun saw the image of an older Tony collapsing into Pepper Pott’s arms.
For a moment, Qi Jun’s expression was a mix of respect, lament, nostalgia, blessings, anger, indifference, and more.
Tony had never thought a person’s expression could change so rapidly, so miraculously.
“I knew it!” Tony silently noted to himself.
He stored this information in his heart, planning to extract more from Qi Jun when the opportunity arose.
Of course, Tony overthought!
From the moment Qi Jun knew about his transmigration, he decided to keep it buried deep, never to tell anyone!
Not even his descendants! He would never reveal this secret!
“What’s past is past. There’s no turning back, nor will I turn back!”
Qi Jun concluded.
A new world, its new wonders!
………………….
“Can you talk about my father?”
“What do you know about my father?”
Tony Stark took a deep breath, finding it hard to calm down.
Seeing Tony’s expression, Qi Jun knew what he was struggling with.
However, Qi Jun didn’t want to console him. Matters of the heart were not his to pry into. As clear as he might see them, they were irrelevant to those involved.
“For certain reasons.”
“I know many things about Earth, about this universe!”
Qi Jun stood with his hands behind his back, gazing diagonally at the night sky (the sun had already set).
Tony Stark was surprised to see shades of depth and maturity in Qi Jun—what the hell?
He’s not even older than me!
But clearly, Tony needed to realize Qi Jun was just performing, or rather, maintaining moderation.
Meanwhile, Qi Jun was laying a trap in case someone asked how he knew so much later.
For some reason, I know a lot, but I can’t tell you why because I can’t!
Perfect!
………………….
“Your father,”
“I’ll just briefly tell you what I know.”
“An absolute super-genius!”
“If it weren’t for the limitations of his time and being assassinated, maybe it wouldn’t have been your turn to shine!”
Glancing at Tony with a mischievous smile, Qi Jun revealed a piece of hidden history.
“What do you mean by ‘super-genius,’ and what do you mean by ‘it wouldn’t have been my turn’?”
“I am better than him… wait a minute!”
Whoosh!
Tony Stark, clad in his Mark suit, rushed up to Qi Jun, staring intensely at his face as if trying to see if Qi Jun was joking.
“You…”
“You mean…”
Tony had not noticed his voice shaking.
“Correct!”
“On December 16, 1991, at night, Howard Stark and his wife were brutally murdered by a killer on a motorcycle, who then stole the newly completed Super Soldier Serum that was meant to be delivered to S.H.I.E.L.D. for testing.”
Qi Jun looked at Tony, calmly revealing the factual circumstances of his father’s death.
“No!”
“That’s impossible!”
“They said…”
“They were just going to a party and died in a car accident!”
“I don’t believe it!”
“I don’t believe it!!!”
With a fluster, Tony Stark collapsed to the ground.
The Mark suit protected Tony well, but at this moment, he was certainly not proud of its advanced shock-absorbing features.
At this point, Tony Stark had not yet experienced much, and hearing such news suddenly, he definitely found it hard to accept. Qi Jun understood this.
“You’re lying to me!”
“You’re lying, right?”
“You must be here to deceive me, right?”
Tony seemed to think of something, flipped over, and moved closer to Qi Jun, looking at him imploringly.
“No!”
“Tony!”
“The truth is as it is. I have no reason to lie to you!”
“Moreover, S.H.I.E.L.D. has the surveillance footage from that time. If you really look into it, you can find out the truth!”
I am seeing the almost impossible plea in Tony Stark’s eyes.
Qi Jun finally hardened his heart and spoke the truth.
“No~~~”
With a wail, Tony Stark collapsed again onto the sandy ground.
………………….
Tony Stark couldn’t imagine if today was an unlucky day for him.
Why did he have to learn such a cruel truth?
He had just dealt with Obadiah Stane, whom he had considered an uncle.
In a blink of an eye, he learned the actual cause of his parents’ death, leaving Tony wondering why he was so unfortunate.
The pain from Obadiah hadn’t passed, and he had encountered a man with incredible strength and learned that the military had created a terrifying green monster.
What’s more saddening, why did he have to learn about his parents’ deaths on the same day?
Thump~~
With various thoughts overwhelming him, Tony couldn’t hold on and fainted.
