Marvel Start With Reality Stone - Chapter 65
On Earth, the reactions of those satellites and monitoring stations didn’t bother Qi Jun at all. Even if they had launched new probe satellites, Qi Jun might have abandoned this initial base by the time they arrived.
In the brand-new ultra-luxurious personal space station residence in the near-Earth orbit of Venus, Qi Jun was reclining on a chair made of superalloy. The perfect ergonomic design and contoured curves made him extremely comfortable. Soft music played in the background, creating a tranquil, natural atmosphere.
“Sir, the equipment calibration is complete. Should I refract the sunlight in?”
A deep, magnetic male voice suddenly echoed in the room, causing Qi Jun to open his long-closed eyes.
“Begin, White!”
Qi Jun glanced at a server in the corner of his luxurious space station residence, which was White’s home. The chips’ materials naturally came from those three probe satellites. Although the materials seemed somewhat mismatched, the Mutated Stone could easily handle it. With a single thought, a high-end super server was created.
White was an artificial intelligence that Qi Jun manifested while creating the server, utilizing the computer knowledge he copied from Tony Stark. The name came from the Chinese mythological name for Venus, “Taibai Jinxing” (the Great White Planet).
“Yes, sir!”
The deep, magnetic voice responded, and the skylight above Qi Jun’s head opened. Or rather, the protective shell of the residence opened, allowing sunlight to pass through a glass-like transparent material and shine directly on Qi Jun. As the external equipment adjusted, more sunlight was reflected and refracted onto Qi Jun.
This was the fundamental reason Qi Jun designed this luxurious personal space station residence. Instead of standing like a fool in space, exposed to cosmic radiation and sunlight, he enjoyed this comfortable residence. Nothing could make him forgo this luxury unless tempted with Infinity Stones.
“Sir, the room temperature has reached 100 degrees Celsius!” White’s voice echoed again.
“Continue!” Qi Jun didn’t feel a thing, only noticing the numbers representing energy points continuously jumping in his mind. Unlike on Earth, where energy increased once per minute, here it increased by 100 points at a time. After the third enhancement, his body had significantly progressed in adapting to energy.
“Yes, sir.”
Soon, more light shone on Qi Jun. “Sir, the room temperature has reached 200 degrees Celsius!”
“Continue!”
Qi Jun touched the superalloy chair beneath him, still cool as ice. Indeed, it was made from the same material as vector engine nozzles. Before long, more sunlight gathered, making Qi Jun’s figure barely visible.
“Sir, the room temperature has reached 500 degrees Celsius!”
White’s voice rang out again.
“That’s enough, maintain this temperature!”
Feeling the energy growth reaching a point where it was almost 1000 points per second, Qi Jun decided not to gather more sunlight. Otherwise, the excess energy might cause an explosion, especially considering the abundance of oxygen Qi Jun had manifested in the residence. Fortunately, the critical point for an explosion had been modified by the Mutated Stone.
“Exceeded!”
“It really exceeded!”
Qi Jun noticed that when the energy value reached 500,000 points, there were no signs of discomfort or a peak. The energy points continued to increase rapidly, almost 10,000 points with each breath! At 510,000, 520,000, 530,000 points, Qi Jun was so excited he sat up but lay back down as the energy absorption slowed. His excitement proved that his earlier feeling was right: 500,000 points was not the limit.
Over time, Qi Jun felt a sense of swelling. At 950,000, there was pain; at 960,000, a tearing feeling; at 970,000, a sensation of ripping; at 980,000, a feeling of fracturing; at 1,000,000, his whole body felt shattered!
“Stop!”
The immense pain rendered Qi Jun speechless. With a roar, he blissfully fainted. Fortunately, this shout not only made the Mutated Stone stop absorbing energy but also instructed White to close the sunlight gathering panels. The protective layer above him quickly closed, and the room temperature returned to normal, leaving Qi Jun lying on the alloy chair, covered in blood. White observed this without any action, knowing Qi Jun had already set up protocols for such a situation and only needed to wait quietly.
“Still alive!”
After an unknown period, Qi Jun finally opened his eyes again. “Ouch, it hurts! Even after three body enhancements, my self-healing can’t recover from this?” He decided to manifest some abilities related to body recovery. First, he manifested a healing potion with a thought, holding a crystalline vial in his hand.
“After body enhancement, have healing potions even increased in cost?”
“Still, no big deal.”
With that, Qi Jun bit off the bottle cap and drank the potion!
