Marvel Start With Reality Stone - Chapter 69
Seeing Tony Stark’s exaggerated performance, Qi Jun didn’t respond, just smiled inwardly. This is 2008! Tony Stark encounters Vibranium ore and soon delves deeper into Wakanda—could it lead to a war between two super-tech nations? One to maintain global dominance and the other unafraid of threats.
Qi Jun suddenly imagined a Wakandan diplomat saying: “There are no winners in war. Wakanda doesn’t want to fight, but we are not afraid to fight. Talk, and our doors are open. Fight, and we will accompany you to the end!”
The direction of the Marvel Universe might have already been disrupted by this butterfly.
Lost in thought, Qi Jun focused on the Vibranium ore in his hand. With a thought, he communicated with the Mutated Stone to see if it could absorb the Vibranium ore. Sure enough, the Mutated Stone responded that it could, and it was worth 10,000 energy points! Weighing the jar, Qi Jun estimated that it contained about one kilogram of Vibranium ore.
With his super intelligence, super perception, super measurement, and other abilities combined, Qi Jun quickly judged the value of the Vibranium ore in the glass jar. Considering Tony Stark’s lavish taste, any supercar he fancied would cost at least a million dollars. If this jar of Vibranium ore was worth a million dollars, then one point of energy would be equivalent to a thousand dollars.
Remembering the conversion rate for electrical energy was two thousand dollars per energy point, and this meant the value hadn’t depreciated. In fact, Tony’s chosen supercar is likely valued at two million dollars, aligning perfectly with the two thousand dollars per energy point ratio. No problem!
Shaking his head to clear away the distractions, Qi Jun looked at the one-kilogram Vibranium ore in his hand. One gram of Vibranium ore was worth ten energy points—amazing! According to the movies, Wakanda had an entire Vibranium mine. The amount of ore in a mine could be immense. The energy would be astronomical even if the mine contained only a million tons! And that’s just the raw ore. Wakanda had already developed new energy technologies with Vibranium. This could multiply the energy by ten, even a hundred times—Wakanda must be secured!
With this in mind, Qi Jun began to ponder. The best approach would be to use all his stealth equipment and the [Mind Teleportation] ability to infiltrate Wakanda with their own people. Then, he could absorb the entire Vibranium mine using the Mutated Stone. Unfortunately, any energy absorbed by the Mutated Stone first had to pass through Qi Jun’s body, which had an energy absorption limit. Otherwise, absorbing the entire sun would be possible.
Especially since Qi Jun had just undergone three enhancements and merged with the Perfect Superhuman Bloodline, this wasn’t the time for him to break through his limits. The stability of the foundation determines the height of the building. Qi Jun needed to stabilize his strength and build a solid foundation.
So, he couldn’t absorb the entire Vibranium mine at once. Instead, he needed to find a way to control the mine. However, there was a significant challenge: Wakanda’s weapons, mostly made of or incorporating Vibranium, had incredible defensive capabilities. Qi Jun could infiltrate Wakanda but couldn’t conquer it. Moreover, he wasn’t a person who would kill all Wakandans for a Vibranium mine—that would be monstrous, not human.
It seemed a more thoughtful plan was needed. Perhaps observing how this Marvel universe’s child of destiny interacts with Wakanda first. If Wakanda went to war with the U.S., Qi Jun could possibly take advantage of the situation.
Seeing Tony Stark calm down, Qi Jun silently mused.
“Alright, Tony.”
“I told you, if you want more information, you need to offer something valuable that interests me.”
Qi Jun knew Tony Stark’s exaggerated performance was partly a probe. One kilogram of Vibranium fetching the price of a top-tier supercar hinted at the immense wealth within Wakanda. But without something valuable enough to interest Qi Jun, he wouldn’t reveal more.
Tony Stark’s attempt was futile. And Tony didn’t expect much either—someone who could crush Iron Man wouldn’t be swayed by small benefits.
“Alright, alright.”
“You’re such a miser!”
Tony Stark rolled his eyes and joked. Glancing at the glass jar in Qi Jun’s hand, Tony felt no desire for it. For “Money Bags Tony,” anything purchasable wasn’t a problem.
“I’m here to ask for your help!”
Tony Stark said seriously, looking at Qi Jun.
