“Level 10 data is highly restricted. Make sure to erase any traces!”
With his super intellect, Qi Jun had already memorized the data after a quick glance.
“Nick Fury sure has guts, not afraid of being tortured by Mephisto after death.”
“Uh… tortured after death?”
“Is that dying again or dying yet again?”
“Whatever, I’m not going to die, and even if I do, I’m not under Mephisto’s jurisdiction.”
“White!”
“Show me Skye’s current location.”
Shaking his head, Qi Jun pushed those thoughts aside.
“Yes, sir.”
The projection screen changed, displaying the interior of a KFC kitchen.
Skye, an eighteen-year-old girl, was working there to make some money.
Qi Jun paused, surprised that Americans ate KFC so early in the day.
“Ahem.”
“White, delete all video footage related to Skye from today!”
While speaking, Qi Jun retrieved the ‘Rorschach’s Mask of the Forgotten’ and the ‘Magical Adhesive Cowboy Hat’ from his spatial ring. Although the passive effect of the Mutated Stone would prevent him from being captured on surveillance, Qi Jun didn’t want anyone to see his face. He wasn’t about to use a Men in Black memory eraser and shout, “Everyone, look here!”—that would be too embarrassing.
“Sir, I have deleted all surveillance footage of Skye, including bystanders’ photos and nearby building cameras.”
“The KFC surveillance is also under my control.”
White interrupted Qi Jun’s thoughts.
“Good!”
“Once I take Skye, delete all KFC footage as well!”
Qi Jun gave instructions on how to put on his mask and hat.

With a thought, Qi Jun disappeared from his office. The next second, in the projection screen, people looked startled, their faces filled with fear. Another second later, Skye, equally surprised, vanished from the projection.
“Ahhh!!!”
“Ahhhhhh!!!”
Screams of terror filled Qi Jun’s office as he returned with Skye. Qi Jun even noticed a slight tremor in the objects around him. With his super vision, he was sure he saw the momentary anomaly.
Looking at the screaming Skye, Qi Jun smiled. So, she already has the power to cause tremors? No wonder she later became the renowned Quake, who could shatter the Earth.
Meanwhile, in the projection, people returned to their tasks, seemingly forgetting Skye’s sudden disappearance—she was just a temp worker after all.
The projection turned off.
“Sir, all surveillance has been deleted.”
White reported timely progress.
“Understood.”
“Display all information on Skye.”
Moving to the sitting area, Qi Jun poured some red wine into two glasses, taking a sip.
“Sigh.”
“Seems like I’m not meant to drink wine.”
“Stark’s top-notch wine doesn’t suit me, nor does this high-end stuff.”
“Tea it is, then!”
Setting down the glass, Qi Jun shook his head and summoned a steaming cup of tea with a wave of his hand. Taking a sip, he smiled.
“Ah, that’s more like it!”
“Pre-Qingming Longjing tea!”
“Just as I remember!”
Of course, it was based on Qi Jun’s memory. Skye, watching the scene unfold, covered her mouth, eyes wide with shock.
“Sigh.”
“No more screaming?”
Seeing Skye’s change, Qi Jun smiled kindly. Unfortunately, to Skye, his smile seemed terrifying.
“Ahhh!!!”
“Stay away!”
“Don’t hurt me!”
“I don’t have money!”
“I don’t have anything you want!”
The frightened Skye backed away, arms flailing, until she hit the wall and stopped. Qi Jun’s smile froze—this was too awkward. Did he look like a horror movie villain?
“Ahem.”
“Uh, I wanted to offer you a drink or some tea.”
“But if you’re not interested.”
“You can look at the information over there.”
Seeing Skye cowering, Qi Jun pointed to the smartphone on his desk projecting information.
“Maybe after you read it.”
“We can talk.”
Skye’s gaze followed his finger, and upon seeing the projection, she froze.
