Marvel Start With Reality Stone - Chapter 83
Once Qi Jun had the idea, he immediately acted on it! He had no fondness for this Inhuman, Gordon, also known as the eyeless man. Why should all Inhumans follow you? That makes no sense! Moreover, if Skye, whose superpowers Qi Jun activated himself, was snatched by you, where would Qi Jun’s dignity go?
“However, to avoid any mishaps during the test, I should first copy this guy’s memories about the locations of the Inhumans.”
Just as Qi Jun was about to create an alternate space, he suddenly remembered that Gordon was the Inhumans’ intelligent transportation tool. Whether it was the Inhumans hidden in “Afterlife” or those living incognito among the general populace, this guy knew where they all lived. In case of any accidents during the test, Qi Jun thought it best to copy Gordon’s memory regarding the Inhumans’ locations.
As for other things, Qi Jun wasn’t interested! Wait…! It feels like I forgot something. What was it?
Staring at Gordon, Qi Jun furrowed his brow and started pondering.
Gordon, Gordon, the eyeless man… wait, why am I thinking about his name? He’s just a minor character, and yet he has a name.
What did I forget? Let’s review.
I brought this guy to Venus for punishment, left him to his own devices, and planned to test if he could teleport back to Earth. Then… oh, right, I remember!
“Damn, I almost forgot! I originally planned to strip this guy’s space ability and manifest it into a skill book to see if it could be used by others. But after manifesting space magic, I almost forgot about it.”
“If I hadn’t planned to test the alternate space magic on him, I might have really forgotten about it.”
“Alright, first I’ll copy his memory about the Inhumans’ locations.”
With a thought, a grayish skill book appeared in Qi Jun’s hand.
[Partial Location Information of Earth Branch Inhumans]
Looking at the ten energy points it consumed, Qi Jun’s lips twitched: “What garbage!”
Even though he’s an Inhuman with space abilities, his memory is ranked the same as an ordinary person’s firearm skills. It’s simply disgraceful! And the location information is only partial. What a disappointment!
Extremely dissatisfied, Qi Jun glared at the unconscious Gordon and then had another thought. With a scream from Gordon, a skill book emitting a faint blue glow appeared in Qi Jun’s hand.
After knocking the now awakened and screaming Gordon unconscious again, Qi Jun looked at the skill book in his hand.
[Imperfect Space Teleportation Ability]
This skill, inherited from the Kree, activates an Inhuman’s super gene, causing random physical damage to the user. Its teleportation distance is forever limited to a single planet, and the teleportation creates noticeable spatial disturbances, making it easily detectable! Only usable by Inhumans.
“Tsk, though the teleportation distance is forever limited to a single planet, it’s still quite powerful. After all, not many people have teleportation abilities. The significant disturbance issue can be mitigated, but the random physical damage part is troublesome. What if it damages something vital…?”
Due to the skill being stripped while Gordon was unconscious, it didn’t cost Qi Jun much energy, almost negligible. However, it made Qi Jun think about the Kree Empire’s super-powered legion. What if he stripped all their superpowers…?
“Well, let’s see the skill book first!”
“A defective product doesn’t match my current status.”
“Hmm, let’s first perfect the defective super gene.”
“Ah, it costs 10,000 energy points. So expensive! Oh, it also fixes the random physical damage flaw. Great!”
“Next is the disturbance issue. Teleportation should be silent and discreet. Fixing this… another 10,000 energy points! Done!”
“Then, the distance limit—starting at a planet’s distance is too limiting in the vast universe. Let’s make it scalable. Ah, 50,000 energy points! Fine, I’ve got plenty of energy.”
“Finally, the Inhumans-only restriction…”
“Wait! If I modify everything, I might as well manifest a new skill book usable by anyone. Forget it, I won’t change this part. I’ll just give it to Skye later to enhance her combat flexibility and escape capabilities.”
Muttering to himself, Qi Jun communicated with the Reality Stone, modifying the skill book.
Finally, it took shape:
[Inhuman Space Teleportation Skill Book]: Grants the user space teleportation abilities from the Kree super gene. Initially allows teleportation within a single planet, with further development possible. Causes minimal disturbance and operates silently. Perfect for stealth operations! Only usable by Inhumans.
“Nice, this is good!”
Satisfied with the improved skill book, Qi Jun smiled.
“Now, it’s time to start the experiment!”
…
With a snap of his fingers, Qi Jun’s energy rapidly depleted as the space magic elements responded. An invisible force enveloped Gordon, then swiftly vanished, leaving no trace.
In Qi Jun’s eyes, Gordon had completely disappeared, and everything around remained unchanged. Qi Jun even walked back and forth over where Gordon had been, confirming the space station remained the same—only Gordon was gone.
But in another view, Gordon was still there. Qi Jun even ‘walked through’ him twice without any interaction.
“Phew, it seems successful.”
“Now, let’s see how much power this alternate space can withstand!”
