Nagato in One Piece - Chapter 31
The complete collapse of the Bullfighting Arena was unavoidable.
The shockwaves from Nagato’s Super Shinra Tensei had already damaged the internal structure, sealing its fate.
However, even then, the Bullfighting Arena wouldn’t collapse immediately. There were intermittent pillar breaks, and rock falls as before.
But Diamante’s Half Moon Funeral accelerated the destruction, further breaking apart the support structures. The entire walls started to fall rapidly, threatening to bury and kill the audience.
In this situation, there was only one solution.
“Shinra Tensei!”
Humming——————
As the massive Bullfighting Arena collapsed, millions of tons of rock were held up by an invisible repulsive force, suspended in the air.
“Bansho Ten’in!”
Nagato’s face grew paler. Under his control, all the falling rocks converged above the center of the arena, forming a giant, irregular sphere.
The center of the arena, where gladiators fought, was now a giant pool for bullfish, void of any people, as the Super Shinra Tensei had shattered the circular stage.
Splash… BOOM————!!!
Nagato moved the massive rock sphere above the pool and released his hold, causing it to fall. The sphere splashed into the water, creating a huge explosion, breaking through the ground and falling into deeper underground layers.
BOOM… BOOM…
The echoes came from the pitch-black depths, indicating the rock sphere broke through other structures before settling.
“Huff—” Nagato squatted, adjusting his breathing and recovering his chakra, while the trade port and junkyard dealt with the impact of the massive rock sphere.
“Bullfight Lance!”
At this moment, Diamante, still fighting Kyros, parried with one sword and transformed his bullfight staff into a long lance, hurling it towards Nagato with all his might.
He aimed to kill Nagato, fearing his recovery and the threat he posed, even if it meant splitting his focus during his battle with Kyros.
CLANG!
But Law was standing beside Nagato. Drawing his sword Kikoku, Law deflected the Bullfight Lance to the ground.
“Forgot to say hi,” Law smirked, taunting Diamante, “Long time no see, Diamante!”
SCHWING!
Distracted, Diamante took a cut to his shoulder from Kyros, bleeding slightly. He glared at Law, gritting his teeth, “You’ve grown more annoying, Law!”
Diamante’s failed sneak attack and his divided attention put him at a disadvantage against Kyros. Seeing the fight was under control, Law turned to Nagato again, “Nagato, what’s your plan? If we can’t confirm Doflamingo’s death, I can’t waste time here!”
After a brief rest, Nagato exhaled deeply, lessening the fatigue and chakra drain, and replied, “Contact Kalifa and start the operation.”
“To satisfy your demand,” Nagato stood, addressing Law, “If Doflamingo has any strength left, Kalifa will force him out.”
Law nodded, recognizing the plan’s potential.
Law took out the Den Den Mushi and made the call.
“Kalifa here, ready and set. Shall we begin?” Kalifa’s voice came through.
Nagato took the Den Den Mushi and said, “Proceed.”
“Yes, Nagato,” Kalifa replied and hung up.
Nagato and Law waited silently. Five seconds later, Kalifa’s mission unfolded as planned.
“Citizens of Dressrosa…”
Throughout the chaotic kingdom, every radio, broadcast, and television echoed Kalifa’s clear voice. Her image appeared on household TVs, outdoor screens, and public displays alongside Kumadori and seated between them, former Dressrosa princess, now Donquixote executive, Violet!
The people of Dressrosa were shocked, but what they didn’t know was that this broadcast was happening worldwide, reaching every public channel!
And so, the world revolted!
World Government
The Five Elders were instantly aware of the global broadcast hijacking, flying into a rage.
“This is a colossal security breach! How could they invade so easily? Those responsible for information security are incompetent!” The bald elder was the first to explode, slamming his hand on the table.
The elder with a long beard showed no facial reaction, but his fierce eyes indicated his sternness. “Former CP9 causing such a ruckus. After the Enies Lobby fiasco, instead of hiding, they dare to make such a scene. Unforgivable.”
“Never mind those fools for now. The ones responsible for this breach will be eliminated,” said the blond elder, lounging on a sofa. “Let’s see what this woman and that clown have planned.”
The elder in the kimono, sitting cross-legged with his sword, glared through his glasses. “She mentioned Dressrosa, Doflamingo’s domain. Is that brat causing us more trouble?”
“He’s our New World enforcer. If he can’t handle former CP9, it’s disappointing,” said the curly-haired elder coldly. “Can seven ants kill an elephant? I’m intrigued.”
### Marine Headquarters
“Where’s Doflamingo? Still no contact?” Fleet Admiral Sengoku, his expression dark, questioned his aide.
“Report, Admiral!” The aide saluted, holding a Den Den Mushi. “We’ve called the secure line for the Warlords ten times. No response!”
“That damned rogue!” Sengoku slammed his documents. “Causing such chaos and not reporting! Outrageous!”
“Calm down, Sengoku,” Tsuru, already in the office, said calmly. “We know what kind of person he is. Media security isn’t the Navy’s responsibility. Let’s wait for those causing this chaos to reveal their message.”
### Baltigo, the White Soil Island
“Dragon, we’ve identified two of the three individuals in the broadcast,” said a young man, dressed in a shirt and vest under his cloak, wearing a noble’s top hat, as he approached the leader’s desk. “Two of them are former CP9 agents. The red-haired man is Kumadori, and the woman is Kalifa.”
He added, “We believe the third, seated in the middle, might be a Donquixote executive. Given our intel, she could be Violet, the former Dressrosa princess.”
“Good work,” Dragon, hands crossed on his desk, eyes fixed on the screen, murmured, “CP9 wouldn’t dare such a challenge alone. I sense a new force behind them, a wind of change…”
### New World, Various Emperors’ Domains
“Gurararara… Seems that little chick is in trouble. Gurarara! Drink up, kids!”
“Why is my screen showing these clowns? Fix it! My food and desserts taste awful now!”
“Joker better not ruin my grand plans. If he delays the SMILE production, I’ll destroy Dressrosa!”
“Isn’t that… the agents Luffy beat up? Hahaha!”
The world awaited the truth of Dressrosa!
